Appearance:

Appears as a young girl around the age of ten with white hair and red eyes. The pupils of her eyes are shaped like a star.

While capable of shifting forms, it is not an ability she uses often, if at all. As such, any changes in appearance tend to be temporary due to her lack of practice. That being said, she uses this ability to take the appearance of her late mother when holding court and any audiences—thereby keeping up the illusion that the Tsaritsa still reigns.

Personality:

Before her ascension to the throne, the Tsaritsa’s daughter was a shy girl with a quiet and gentle nature. 500 years later - these qualities remain, including a lingering naivety that hints at her immense youthfulness when it comes to those with divine blood. 

That said, the years of sudden leadership—most of which is actually delegated to her Fatui Harbingers, leaving her bereft of any hard leadership qualities—has snuffed out the soft light of her innocence into something that is more withdrawn and broody, especially when left alone with her thoughts.

(And how so very alone she is, in this giant castle of ice and harsh, echoing winds.)

As such, quite often, she carries the impression of a pushover with how lacking she is in loud words and in bold decision-making. But this simply makes the moments where she retaliates with a harsh bitterness even more potent and vicious. 

Beneath it all, in the end, she harbors a frozen grief that has nowhere to go.

Profile:

Born in secret to the previous Tsaritsa and a Khaenri'ahn diplomat. The first few decades of her existence were bright and gentle, filled with her loving mother’s stories of Snezhnaya and Khaenri'ah - of the snowy lands and the warm people she would rule over, and the distant homeland that her unseen father took pride in.

That, however, came to an end when Celestia destroyed Khaenri'ah - robbing her of her father, and eventually, her mother due to heartbreak.

It is in light of these events that Anastacia was ceremoniously granted her mother’s gnosis and appointed as the next Cryo Archon. With this power and this turmoil within, the child swore to demolish the glided bars of heaven, even if that means burning this loveless world with it.

Extra Notes:

It is not public knowledge that the Tsaritsa had a daughter - or that the Tsaritsa is dead, much less that the one on the throne is said daughter maintaining a pretense of otherwise. 

Only the First Harbinger, Pierro, is aware of the whole truth regarding the ruling Tsaritsa.

That said, if one gains her immense trust, this dangerous truth that could send Snezhnaya into political chaos might be known to others as well...

As her existence is the most confidential of secrets in Zapolyarny Palace, she has a tendency to remain within her own private quarters and avoids leaving - to prevent anyone from learning the truth, and also more personally, to simply hide from the world.

That said, sometimes she does get a random, though very rare burst of wanderlust, and will wander around the palace - though she also takes great pains to avoid anyone even then. If anyone does notice her or gets suspicious about her, she will fumble some excuse about being a visiting noble’s daughter, and try to run to Pierro to get out of any icky situation.

Due to all of this, she is not as knowledgeable about the world or as wise as an Archon could be - in fact, most of what she knows is filtered through her Harbingers, the only people she has direct contact with.

     Oh, shit. She had almost forgotten her mom was in the room with her upon speaking her mind. Though, it was already sort of too late to take back what she said. Maybe she wouldn't tell her father when she returned to the palace? 

Forcing a smile, she straightens her posture & gives a small, casual shrug of her shoulders. "I don't make them all the time. I just thought it was appropriate for this one." Would she buy that? "Although I wouldn't call it a joke." Lips tug in a small frown, brows furrowing together. "Is it a joke ? "  

Head tilts, Octavia now looking at her mother curiously. She knew her mom wasn't too fond of Blitz & her father at the moment, but still.
