- Haha funny guy and cool woman!! Neat!!

- Oh they're good friends that's cool they've known each other for a while

- They both see themselves as some kind of inhuman being changed by the lives they've lived

- It is implied that Jack knows about what Stella went through as O5-6 by nature of when he remembers them he immediately brings up their 2002 event. Stella trusted him immensely back then and they probably still immensely trust him now.

- Stella firsthand wittnessed some of Jack's experiences in the Mindkin lab making them know him better than some of his closest friends just by nature of knowing what changed him so much

- Stella's "I'm sorry" was a half-spoken acknowledgement of all of this. And Jack picked up on it

- For better or worse they really do care about each other but their self-doubts and shames and traumas and prides are preventing them both from acknowledging it
