“We get to live a thousand lives as actors and I enjoy that. People’s stories intrigue me, particularly stories of struggle, which I think everyone relates to. I never had much of a concept of Hollywood… but the roles drew me overseas to the US industry, the mecca of it all, where so much is happening and [there were] such interesting roles.”
