[171022] Fan Accounts of DなSHOW Vol. 1 in Osaka
Daesung said today that he’s sad that his Dna SHOW tour is about to end soon, after so many shows. “Now there’s only..how many events left? 6 including today? It feels so lonely.” He said it again later to the question what kind of reward he’d like after the end of Dna SHOW tour 😢 (© mshinju) He even made a crying face 😩 (👈 like this) with his head and shoulders down 😭 (© susifg)
Q: Describe D-LITE’s charming points!
DS: Uh…D-LITE is me though and I’m really bad at this sort of self-praise. There’s a member in BIGBANG who’s in charge of self-praise (audience laughs) ah, my charming points… what might that be (laughs shyly)
Ody-san: Your stage talk!
DS: My stage talk…? Like what I’m doing now?
Ody-san: It’s amazing. Isn’t it amazing? (audience cheers) it’s so fun it’s on a completely different level.
DS: (returns his look) … (starts laughing bashfully)
Ody-san: Isn’t it though? We band members are laughing non stop!
DS: (laugh)
Leo-san: We are honestly laughing in the back.
DS: I can hear your laughter through my in-ear monitors (imitates loud laughter) wa~~hahaha! I see. Stage talk. I have cue cards only for the questions bc I can’t read kanji [the Qs are shown on screen in Japanese] But this talk corner is completely unscripted. Actually the reason why my talk is fun is because your (audience) reaction is so good. If there was no reaction I wouldn’t like it either and my motivation would leave me. But our team play is really good. To compare it with soccer, there is this strategy of FC Barcelona, what is it called again? Ah, tiki taka! Oh, you don’t know tiki taka? (he seems really surprised) tiki taka! No?! But you do know FC Barcelona..? Messi, Suarez etc.. FC Barcelona is the No. 1 soccer team and the reason for their success is their tiki taka strategy. The name is onomatopoeia, and.. ah, you seriously don’t know?? Alright. So the name derives from the movement of kicking the soccer ball (he shows us on stage) ti-ki-ta-ka. So the passes are so fast that it’s called that. And the strategy… ah~ (to band) you don’t know tiki taka? (*I think he was skeptical bc we always want him to do stuff on stage so he maybe thought that we just pretended not to know tikitaka is just to make him explain it)
The band said they didn’t know.
DS: Ah.. so if you do the passes by yourself like this (shows) you’ll end up giving up because the ball is faster than a human runs. That’s why the success rate of the passes is super important. The strategy is called tiki taka because many players pass each other the ball at high speed (the staff showed a video on screen at this point) this way the opponent team can’t take the ball away. With this strategy they have landed the first place for many years. Ah I see you don’t really care? Ok whatever next question! (audience applauds loudly) next question! → so he meant hat our team play of his talk & our response is as good as FC Barcelona’s team play☺️
Daesung got soo passionate about his explanation  while the video of FC Barcelona practicing their tiki taka strategy was showing on screen he commented when Messi was on screen “it’s not about Messi now, no need for Messi! Yes Messi-san I love you~” 🤣🤣 so cuuute

Daesung knows a lot of things, really. Often when he mentions a topic he goes into detail and says “I read in an article that…” so he must really be reading a lot of stuff in the news and look up many things to learn more about different topics. (© mshinju)
Daesung asked us if we can do the [ A•Ze•Cho] dance and when the response was mixed and not quite confident he said yeah, I’ve been dancing for over 10 years now so I can do it.. if you can do it, that means you have danced for 10+ years or you’re a dance genius” 🤣 (© mshinju | video here)
Q: Name one thing that you will always be better at than the other BB members. (In JP it’s literally “something you’d never lose in against the other members”)
DS: Ah, there is one thing: staring contest. My eyes are small already so when we start, I’ll stare like this 😑 I can do this forever. I can see by the way. Try me, show me a hand sign.
Fan on 1F: ✌️
DS: 2.
Fan on 2F: And this??
DS: 😶 You’re holding up your arm. Yeah I can see you. Yep. Both arms. Thanks. That’s enough. (audience laughs) pls read the atmosphere. The topic’s done. (© mshinju)
Q: Tell us your recommendation for a wedding BGM.
DS: People often ask me to sing at their wedding, it makes me feel so pressured. Until now I was always busy with work so I feel lucky that I couldn’t sing at any wedding yet (audience laughs) But actually… I’ve once seen V.I’s Strong Baby performance at a wedding once in Korea. It’s the best! There isn’t any song in this world that could be more perfect! He does it like this, before the song starts: “So do you want a daughter or a son?” He asks the couple. So if they respond “We want a daughter” he goes “alright everyone, let’s go Strong Baby!” (hums the intro melody) (at the “crack crack” part) “daughter! Daughter! Daughter!” (audience laughs) And even the title, it’s “Strong Baby” so it fits perfectly! Seeing him perform like this at the wedding… I fell for V.I’s charms. I think it’s a great song for the occasion. In Japanese “daughter” has 3 syllables but in Korean it’s ddal, and “son” is “adeul”. So the nuance is even better. (he shows how it goes) everyone loves it! I can reallyonly recommend it! If you’re looking for a song for your wedding, I recommend Strong Baby! Please use it. (© mshinju | video here)
Q: What sort of reward do you want for yourself after Dna SHOW tour has ended?
DS: Ah…the timing for this sort of question has come already. My tour with almost 40 events now has only 6 events left… I feel really lonely. (sigh) (hangs head with sad face) ok, not gonna cry! I’ve been touring in Japan without returning to Korea for a while now. So… not sure if this can be called a reward, but I really want to eat Chinese food and chicken in Korea. I always feel this way. Is someone from Korea in the audience? (a fan on 1F raises her hand) Oh! Really! Thank you so much! Can I interview you? Ah, you don’t speak Japanese? Ok, I’ll interview in Korean & will translate to Japanese. What’s your name?
Fan: Sanga.
DS: Sanga-chan😊 how did you come here today? By what means?
Fan: I bought a ticket and came…
DS: 😶 (after translating to JP) (audience laughs) an obvious answer. Right! If you don’t have a ticket, you can’t enter the venue. (in KR) thank you so much! Such an honest reply. How long have you been in Japan?
Fan: I arrived this morning.
DS: Oh (laugh) (translates to JP) Then the objective for my question is kind of gone… when you’re overseas for a while, what Korean food do you miss the most?
Fan: (thinks for a while) nothing in particular.
DS: 😶😶 ah… (translates) nothing really. Please enjoy the show until the end! So I was looking for help from a fellow Korean but instead the situation has taken a turn for the worse. (audience laughs) ah really thank you so much. (he notices a guy in the back) oh, you are also from Korea?
Daesung interviewed the guy who was fluent in Japanese. He was the same age with Daesung. Their interaction was really funny, especially because the guy had a super chilled voice without much intonation so everything he said came across as funny 🤣 everyone laughed so much
