Today's prompt for #igquiltfest is "quilted admiration"...but I'm going to take a bit of liberty with this one, and share someone I truly admire who isn't in the quilting world. Allison Gingras @reconciledtoyou is a woman who truly inspires me. She and I first connected many years ago when I was a guest on her podcast, and we've stayed in touch over time. A few years ago, Allison reached out about an amazing project she was working on: a Women's Scripture Study, and would I be interested in authoring a book. First, wow - and second, yes! I'm thankful, honored, and blessed to have my book, published last summer, become the next in the #stayconnectedjournals series published by @osvcatholicbooks With C0V1D slowing down a bit, I'm so excited to really begin a launch of the book. With a few trips tentatively planned throughout the US this coming year, I'm excited to bring this book, and its story about how to live liturgically in your home, to a few new parishes. I'm also thrilled to continue bookclub online; at the start of each liturgical season, we meet (virtually) to discuss that book's chapter - for the book itself is broken up, by chapter, to reflect each of the liturgical seasons.
