Last Nov. 15, the GEE 16 provide a Lecture Series to all students who take the subject of entrepreneurial mind. The first topic is about Intellectual Property Rights and Technology Trasfer speaked by Dr. Gamaliela Agustine Dumangas. So, the intellectual property has a creation of the mind, invention, literacy and artistic work, symbol, name images, and design. Intellectual property laws exists in order to protect the creators and covers areas of copyright, trademarks law, and patents. To protect our intellectual property it must transform ideas into tangible products, “ first to file” basis. We need to protect our intellectual property because it just like owning a piece of land, you can't take your ownership, if is not register to your name, even if you are the one who originally owned it or the one who created it. To ensure registerability, when you are planning to invent, create product especially in your mind subject, do prior art research. In the third topic, Ms. Alice Therese L. Caballeda open the topic about Start-up- Ecosystem. So Start-Up Ecosystem is a group of people playing their role interacting, and working together to develop or support startups. Starups need the ecosystem to have a support come from resources, support from investment, mentors, right people, networks, additional co-founder in order to survive and to lead them to success. Last topic is about Start-Up Journey, Ms. Doreen Elsie Jane Gersava shared to us the journey of their company known as VIRTUALAHAN founded and owned by Sir Ryan Gersava. VIRTUALAHAN is a match making company to people with disabilities with a business model that lifts people out of proverty. The company trained people with disabilities(PWDs) to equipped with digital skills and has sustainable internet-based jobs while companies grow their business with diverse and inclusive manpower. VIRTUALAHAN helps PWDs to be independent, and give them the hope, worth, and experience, that to go beyond their limitations.

grateful life

bismillah sebenernya bingung certain awalnya sebenernya ini hal yang secara tidak langsung jadi real gitu..

jadi awalannya gue janjian sama nadhif (temen di event HRD Gila, Bisnis Hack pas dijogja) mau meetUP karena udah setahun belom pernah meetUP kebetulan dari semuanya gue sama nadhif doang yang lokasinya deketan. dan basicnya nadhif pernah kuliah didepok. alhasil agustus apa november deh kita tu janjian buat meetup di margo tempat strategis juga.

oke end then, kita ketemuan di foodcourdnya abis itu kita beralih buat nyari makan. alhasil kita makan di imperial kitchen, dan kita cerita-cerita lah disana.

"gimana lu jadi HRD sekrang?"

"gimana kantor lu? aman?"

alhasil gue cerita lah kalo gue sudah tidak jadi HRD di tempat gue bekerja, karena suara gue minoritas. ada dan ga adanya gue keputusan gue tidak berperan jadi buat apa gue disana? alhasil gue menawarkan diri buat oke gue punya skill dan kebetulan disana teh lagi butuh orang design karena anak design banyak yang dicut.

terus gue kerja deh jadi design graphic yang merangkul jadi anak sales juga dan pemateri juga (kadang). hahaha

"dan kantor gue sedang tidak baik-baik saja nih dhif, gue lagi nyari nyari lagi buat plan B kalo emang ada apapa dikantor"

trus nadhif teh cerita juga kalo anak design grafisnya ada trouble sama usernya dan pengen resign, terus ya udah nadhif minta contoh design gue.

gue tadinya udah ngerasa aman karena gue punya cadangan buat kalo ada apaapa dikantor. truss seketika desember nadhif teh bilang kalo ga jadi resign karena drama yang panjang. ya sudah lah ya..

gue nyari lagi lah, harus kah gue meninggalkan design ? ampe gue nyari di admin ekspedisi. ya Allah umur gue lumayan riskan ya, ada kriteria aja alhamdulillah. umur 28 udah bukan usia yang produktif inceran kantor, kecuali ada skills.

ya Allah padahal aku 2 minggu terakhir berdoa :

"ya Allah beri aku pekerjaan yang engkau berkahi, baik pekerjaannya, baik temantemannya, dan baik lingkungannya"

trus tibatiba nadhif ngmng kaya gitu, ya Allah nikmat mana lagi yang engkau dustakan. karena Allah baik banget sama akuu.

Now there will be no tax payment in startup companies for investing upto twenty five crore rupees. So far this limit was Rs. 10 crores. In addition, the definition of startup has also been changed, under which companies operating for ten years from their registration will now be able to invest. Earlier this limit was seven years ago. Now, companies doing hundred crore net worth or two and a half million rupees annually will be able to invest. Similarly, some other investment related investment rules have been made flexible. In this way, the scope of investors' growth and startup companies will get some speed. The Internal Trade Promotion Department is excited about this. Actually, the startup center is an ambitious plan of the government. It was started with the intention that instead of running behind technically skilled youth jobs in the country, they would be able to start their work. New jobs will also be created. So far many young people were unable to start their business so that they had problems in raising their capital. But the existing government made separate provisions for this and encouraged them to start new jobs. The credit facilities were extended from banks. Loan related conditions were made flexible But as expected, this plan did not catch the pace. It was believed that companies will come forward for investment in the startup plan, encourage new enterprises and increase their business. But the encouraging results can not come out. Therefore, the limit for exemption of income tax has been increased for companies investing under the new amendment. It is believed that the speed of the startup plan will not only solve the problem of employment but will also facilitate the growth rate to reach the goal. Therefore, the government's concern to speed up startup is natural. It is a good thing that the government has focused on improving the status of small and medium enterprises as well as encouraging new enterprises. In the past, small and medium enterprises were given unconditional loans up to one crore rupees. No bank can refuse to lend to such enterprises. In the same sequence, efforts are being made to push the startup. In this way, improving the condition of these units will increase employment opportunities. But the reality is that no business does not last much longer just on production. It requires a market. There is an emphasis on production under startup, but there is little scope for increased market consumption in that proportion. There is very little space for India in foreign markets too. Export rate is not satisfactory. Then there is competition from the products and services of those big companies, which are making them available at affordable rates. In view of this, investors are not excited. Any investor wants to invest his capital in the same venture, which has the scope for profits. Therefore, there should be an idea on the expansion of the market as well as facilitating investment path in startup.
