what’s your hot take on bakugou’s canon relationship w/deku? cos ur dash is filled with bakudeku, n i’d always respect ur ships and everything, but how do you deal with the whole bullying/suicidal comments? there r so many good bakudeku fics w/good plots, but when i think of them i get a bad taste in my mouth. thoughts? unless u don’t wanna answer lmao, that’s okay.

I don’t think I’ve actually reblogged any BakuDeku?  It’s mainly been TodoDeku though you might mean my Ao3 bookmarks where I have some BakuDeku fics bookmarked. I OTP that TodoDeku with a healthy splash of DekuShinso btw.

Overall I have a love hate relationship with Bakugou as a character.  He’s a little fucking asshole and I think he’s a toxic little fuck who probably never should have been allowed into UA in the first place if his history of bullying was known.

Izuku deserves so so much better so I get a bad taste from the two of them too in a lot of ways but I have been giving some BakuDeku fics a chance because, as you said, there are so many with some really really good plots. I mainly have only really been checking out AUs of the two or fic where Bakugou has to face the consequences of how he treated Izuku as I work my way through the fandom fic backlog.

So, in short, I find the way he treated Izuku in canon fucking distasteful so I’d say that BakuDeku kind of qualifies as a trash ship for me where I’m only willing to dip my toes into certain fics.
