man there are some older flash games I wish could be brought back, like StarGems and Flying Candy, without needing to rely on Ruffle or Flashpoint to run them :C

oh and Jelly Battle, for some reason I can never find any reuploads of it anywhere. but it was a really fun game!

Happy birthday, Elystan! Besides the Morrick Hopeley stories by L.D. Melbray, what other mysteries or mystery authors do you enjoy?

Elystan: Of course Morrick Hopeley is The Great Detective, and there are no mystery stories that can possibly compare. But if you have the patience and time for an absolute millstone of a volume, Mr. Plackings' Windswept Manor has a fairly interesting plot involving a detective. He did write that other mystery, but then he had the nerve to die before he could finish it, which is either the cleverest ending one could write or the cruelest. And there's Mr. what's-his-name's book...The Stargem? Which has the benefit of being funny as well as exciting. Not many people know this, but Edair Illyn Lirie wrote a few mystery stories too, and they're not bad, but their plots could use some work. Lately I've been reading some mystery stories in which the hero is a gentleman thief instead of a detective working with the law, and they're rather refreshing.

ive never thought of emerald/sun (my fav emerald ship us emerald/neon LOL) but honestly???? i could totally see it! shes very sassy and tsun but also needy and i think sun is so open and free with his love and affection and jokes that they are both really good for each other! i approve LOL

sun is endowed with what i like to call "the himbos blessing" meaning that hes so sweet and nice and thoughtful towards everyone while also just being so silly and funny that honestly you could make an argument for him being with anyone and ill probably hear you out!

bullmonkey (sun/adam) is. so nice lol i have a whole au in my head of sun chasing after adam after haven and seeing the brand when adam thinks hes alone and immediately sun just sort of pulls up short and has a crisis of faith and maybe its sort of a enemies to rivals to friends to lovers situation teehee ><!!!!!

Emma Stargem - Spirit Walker and Honorary Detective

Age: 20

Level: 42 Death

Personality: Upbeat, social butterfly, compassionate, cunning, generous, a little pranksterous

Status: Doing good! Living stellar best life with her family and myriad of friends.

Story: The Spiral used to be a game, and Star loved the social aspect of it. She was the kind of player who would host parties in her castle and lend a hand to new wizards, but didn't care as much about the main gameplay as her twin Emma had. When Nora corrupted the Spiral, that social interconnection was absolutely snapped. The only folks Star had left were her siblings and the NPCs who had just gotten the rudest awakening of their now-unscripted lives.

Star stayed in Wizard City with her little sister Savannah while Emma was off doing savior things of his own in Grizzleheim. Thanks to her status as a 'senior student' and being Nora's cousin, she quickly found herself involved in helping tame Wizard City's portion of Aberrant magic: Aberrant Death that roused the legions of Undead that Malistaire once summoned and Nora had quelled years ago. Star didn't mind this new normal of trying to dispel these old dead; it was a way she could help out without straying too far from what home she had.

Though her connection to Nora would not let Star rest easily. The Arcanum sought her and Savannah out after Emma had little choice but to ask them for help. Of COURSE Star wanted to be able to help (or at least see) Emma, and the Arcanum's promise of extra tutoring definitely sweetened the deal, as Ravenwood Academy had paused nigh-indefinitely thanks to the Undead uprising.

Star quickly made friends with some of the Arcanum scholars, including Qyburn Stellargaze, who introduced Star to a set of neopronouns that Star just had to take for herself. "It fits my aesthetic, yknow? Gotta commit to the bit." Star's relationship to her primary mentor, Qismah, was a bit tense though. Stellar bright belief that one's life ought to be filled with as much joy and whimsy and carpe-diem'ness as possible BECAUSE of the inevitable solemnity of death was a stark contrast to Qismah's more stoic and poised views of discipline and quiet respect of the living and dead alike.

Star was content with studying under the Arcanum and helping the scholars however she could, but calamity struck in Karamelle. Nora, who had been absent, villainized, and assumed dead for years by the Spiral, was calling for help. And the help that Star and the scholars were able to bring was too little too late. Nora was killed, eaten alive, and all that was left of her was her pet, some crystallized Storm magic she had left behind, the damages she had caused, and an absolutely heartbroken family. Most hurt was Nora's baby sister, Iridian, now guardianless. Star knew the Arcanum may have been a good place for herself and Emma and Savannah, who all wanted to study magic and help the Spiral in their own ways, but it was not a stable home for a young growing child.

Star's friend from another Spiral, Owen Macheca (@saturniidaze) offered to let Iridian and the three sisters move in with their own family in the (Multiversal) Reconstructed AU (@clockwork-fiends). Star technically was old enough by now (or so stel thought at the time, 17 years old) to not need a typical home with familial adult figures, but she wanted to stay close to Iridian and Savannah, take care of them, be a constant for them.

Star now lived a life with a foot in both Spirals, but the Macheca family was quickly becoming Star's main home now. And when other multiversal madness swooped in and stole Emma away, Star nigh-permanently pulled away from Wizarding. Her family needed her more than the Arcanum did, though stel would always be a friend to the Arcanum. Rather than a foot in both Spirals, she had both feet in (MV)R! and a hand in CS.

Things quieted down once Emma was saved. And a new chapter of Star's life, complete with an entirely new universe unlike any Spiral, was beginning. Owen had a dear old friend that they named a father, Akhtar Vice (@stormyykat), who could not remember his own death from 15 years ago. With her own experience with necromancy and the evergreen desire to help out however stel could, Star joined Owen on investigating what should've been a cold case.

Key word: should've.

Things got incredibly messy. I can't delve into it in a basic OC intro post. But from that experience, Star gained many new yet strong connections to this new universe and a passion for private detectivework. This universe, which quite closely paralleled the Earth Star remembered before getting stuck in her first Spiral, became yet another home to her. Star comfortably and truly lives with a foot in the Spiral and a foot in this other-Earth. Modern but still magical (including all the game-mechanic magics, much to her newest friends' bewilderments), bohemian but still involved.

Well, it’s funny we have an introject (think thats how you spell it) of CaseOh in our system. He’s the only one that will co front often and he says the most CRAZIEST THINGS. When he first formed we were both locked in front and mans asked “You wanna play uno?” Yeah. He’s a chill guy.

Sunstone works too but other names for Emerald/Sun are Stargems or Green Banana

Maybe I’d suggest a tab for ‘alternative ship names’ cause of like how Blake/Weiss has Monochrome and Checkmate, and Blake/Sun has Eclipse and BlackSun, y’know?

Something that bugged me personally about the original ship chart, but maybe not others idk

A special valentines campaign and event will be occurring in celebration of the month! Play songs and businesses to obtain special Valentines Chocolate items to give to an idol! The Valentines Chocolate DX item counts as 10 chocolate pieces.

After giving a certain amount of chocolate, their Passion Levels will increase and grant you a variety of rewards including Limited Valentine Stories! Hand over enough chocolates and you will be given a special White Day present from that idol!

Test your dedication and fight against every other producer in your love by ranking in the amount of chocolates you give to them and gain special titles! (Just don’t overwork yourself) You are also able to rank for staff members.

Along with the event, there are special missions you can clear! These missions are as follows:

I’ve seen that too. Personally I’m stuck between her and Emerald. The ship names for Emerald/Sun alone though has me leaning towards them. Sunstone/Stargems

Blacksun shippers convinced themselves that the show was building up their ship being canon because Sun breathed around Blake for two volumes, while whiterose shippers believe their ship is still going to be canon

Undertale...ish, the Quotev era characters. (Most of these characters are retired from my writing and don't have active stories but are still dear to me.)

Chancery Hope Gaster - my first ever official OC, Soriel ship child. She's my first and the foundation so I love her. basically 50s.

Renee - an alternate timeline variant of Chancery who became a villain for the majority of her conscious life, "The Glitch". Now a has-been trying to find something to live for. 30.

Shadow Rouge - Chancery's childhood friend turned boyfriend turned husband. Dragon. basically 40s-50s

Flare Rouge - Chancery and Shadow's eldest son, a major protagonist in CCSAU. Balance wizard. 24

Flint Rouge - Flare's twin brother, younger by 3 minutes :P

Spark Rouge - Chancery & Shadow's eldest daughter. 18??

Steele Rouge - Spark's twin sister.

Poacher - A mercenary, big game hunter, and all around tough but cool guy. Also a dragon. 50s but I think this dude transcends time he just doesn't die lol. A very old oc, I don't remember much about him.

Coal - All of Poacher's LV distilled into a separate entity. Not that bad. In fact, he comes off as less threatening than ol' Poach. Anime boy twunk guy. I cannot picture him as anything older than 26 but surely he's older than that. Much to figure out and rebuild.

Nora Gem - my main Wizard, the Scion in Corrupted Spiral who went astray. Now some unholy mix of human, divine, bogeyman, and Lost. Storm wizard. 28. Probably dating Renee.

Sarah Dragontail - Nora's mom, a Wizard who's taken up freelance wandering traveler heroics. Formerly Life wizard, now a Music wizard. 56.

Iridian Fairytail - Nora's adoptive baby sister. Myth wizard, untrained. 10

Emma Titansong - Nora's cousin, Nordic Champion, mostly-retired Life wizard. 20.

Emmaline Stargem, better known as just Star - Emma's twin sister. Death wizard.

Savannah Prismage - Emma and Star's younger sister. Fire & Ice wizard, young pioneer in the study of "Thermancy" (thermo + mancy). 16.

Kiyom - the Nothing, gone on a path unlike Dasein did in canon and so became Something Else.

Para - the Divine Paradox separate from Nora, and the Dreamer given consciousness.

Mauria Kutscherzo - Maulwurf von Trap's mom. 60s.

Malkah Hadas - Queen of Mandoria (the one who had been on the throne before Mandar showed up) and Mandar's wife. Late 60s.

Dr. Clark Savage, Sr. - Duck Savage's father and creator. Dead at 65.

Agnes Chastity-Crane - a crane in Night Forest who begins investigating the odd mana left in the wake of people questing through Lemuria's story. Also accidentally invented guns :D. 20s.

Mark Moonfisher - my interpretation of that one Schismist soldier in Karamelle, Novus, and the Test Realm raid. Because Arc 4 doesn't happen normally in my AU, his story ends up different. Sharkperson (specifically spiny dogfish) who was born to gamer but forced to minor/nonexistent npc.

Pirate101

Ruthless Dirk - my main Pirate, swashbuckler, Karamellian fae disguising emself as a human, grew up in Skull Island. 22.

'Fair' Sarah Paisley - my original Pirate, witchdoctor (with a LOT of creative liberty because KI didn't have sensitivity), grew up in Krokotopia but lived in Skull Island. 28.

Ieronim Masterson - I took an incredibly minor character (Jim Masterson) & gave him more attention than canon ever would. Living with his brother Bartolomeu & the rest of the Magnificent Seven, slowly healing from his time in the army.
