Also, do you have any tips for consistent writing? I’ve never had much luck both coming up with ideas and putting them onto page at the same time without the scene ending up a little choppy.

Also I am so sorry for Sage but Cyprassi is a jock that's utterly fucked up on minecraft. Rarely plays video games except for 2000+ hours in the Craft. Gets Sage to play with him. That MF is a redstone god. Only slightly terrifying.

And I'll be real, pal. I've only been consistently writing for like two, three months after not writing anything for 5 years so I'll let you know when I find out.

Who I Am is the kind of story I was looking for in the HDG setting, thank you very much for writing it. The exploration of the affini's... pressure (for lack of a better word) has really really drawn me in and I'm excited to see what else you may be cooking up.

If I may ask, what drew you to writing this story in this setting? Was it just a bolt of "hoo boy this is something interesting to work with" or is it something else?

I'll be honest - I love CNC, I love hypnokink, I love petplay, and boy Fucking Howdy do I love Plant People and Fae. HDG is my hole, it was made for me, except for the fact that I don't really do sci fi. Or F/F. I wanted to be the change I wanted to see in the world (or at least the m/m side)- play with a lot of HDG's pre-established tropes (ie forcefem, affini altruism) while being true and respectful to the authors who very clearly inspired me. Also, to say the quiet part out loud and explore OCD for the OCD-be-gone fetish community. So uuuuh yeah! APOWIA! A little bit of everything!

What inspires Sage's fashion choices in your art of him? I really like a lot of his outfits.

AWAWA Thank u!! Fashion design is actually a minor hyper fixation of mine, so his clothing is a kind of marriage between a few different styles

- 80s popular fashion to invoke the kind of neon cyberpunk metropolis I fashioned New Asteria off of

- Recession-era punk fashion to reflect his poor scrappy upbringing on Luna (its all the clothing he had that fit pre-Compact!)

- Renaissance fes anachronism bc A) he's a fantasy nerd B) I'm typically a fantasy artist and its what I like to draw

Normally I either draw him in *very loose* clothing or tight compression tanks because I think his Autism makes it so he doesn't like a lot of cloth touching his arms and legs. If you want my Sage Lookbook, here's his Pinterest board!
