My home is always, always open to those in need. I am always open to welcoming more into my family. Mask off, I never turn down a blessing and a child is always one - even Jason.

But adoption can be emotionally heavy, it can be legally ill-advised, or it can be not the right choice for every child. I prefer to discuss legal adoption with the child themselves, and do it with their consent and full involvement.

I don't need to formally adopt a child to be their father, I promise that.
