Alright Earthling Goku and Saiyan ChiChi Au part 2 : the actual Au start, let's go :D !

Fast Forward to the start of the manga (or technically, maybe a week before the start of the manga). Mt. Frypan is devoured by the flames, but Ox-king isn't desperate enough to sent his daughter try to find Master/Muten Roshi by herself just yet. And that is when a boy with the biggest forehead ever and spiky hair in a jeep asking rudely for a "Dragon Ball" without any regard or sign he know about Ox-King reputation. He does know, he just think it doesn't matter for the likes of him. He's wrong of course but since my story wouldn't really be the same without him, he's gonna luck out thanks to plot armor, the same way Mister Satan did, kinda.

OK so I think you guessed by now that the "boy" I'm talking about is Vegeta. And I know it's not very happy news for everyone so let me explain 😅. You see at my previous post when I said that I was done with settling the context, I lied, there's more T^T *cry*. So basically what happened is that it's this drawing that inspired me this drawing :

Thus it's also an Human Vegeta and Saiyan Bulma. We'll get to Bulma when we get to Dbz, for now Vegeta.

The most important change on him is that is absolutely not under any circumstance a fighter. Oh don't get me wrong, he has many other things in common with his canon counterpart : being an egocentric jerk with an ego too big for his own good ? Check. An elitist snob who thinks his statut make him better than everyone else ? Check. A fighter ? Pff no what are you talking about ? On earth that's a job/occupation/hobby for the low-class citizen is it not ?

Seriously this boy would be knocked out by a slap lol. Despite his complete lack of fighting skill, Vegeta still consider himself an elite. Why is that. Well he's a rich spoiled city boy from East City with parents that have very important position in politics and descants from old royalty (which doesn't mean anything since the rise of the First World King).

And yes he fully believed that this statut of his would have protected him against the wrath of the Ox-King for wanting to steal from him. Because Vegeta wouldn't be Vegeta if he wasn't an overconfident cocky loser like that after all. Ox-King and ChiChi are so dumbfounded by his loudmouth that they're like Cell was with Satan : they don't think he's even worth killing. So they explain how even if they were willing to give him any part of his treasure, which they're not, they wouldn't be able to do it anyway. Since you know, the Mountain is on fire. They're all depressed together after that.

After a while they work out that they can mutually help each other. Vegeta has a lot of vehicule, maps and things for traveling comfortably. If he take ChiChi with him in his travels to find the other Dragon Ball, chances are, she'll be able to learn where Muten Roshi lives, then they'll be able to put out the fire. In exchange for taking (and feeding) ChiChi with him, Vegeta would be allowed to take the Dragon Ball in the castle with him. It's a good deal for both of them and Vegeta is somewhat not as rude to ChiChi as he is to everyone else since she's a princess, so he might get out of that adventure alive, maybe.

And thus, after many threat from Ox-King/Gyumao to Vegeta to treat his daughter well, this duo is formed and they're gone on they're own adventure !

And yep time for a pause here, I'll continue this tomorrow. No idea if you're actually enjoying my long long rambling but I'm having a blast :D. I'll just add here that since Vegeta is from East City and not West City, they're going to do the same path Goku and Bulma did but reversed ! Think you can guess what'll the next adventure will be ? Wait till tomorrow to find out :D !

_An AU I have where Goku is an earthling and ChiChi a saiyan (Og DB version and/or DBZ version)

_An AU where Vegeta was sent to Earth instead of Goku, but Goku is still very much the Main Character (beside I hyperfocus a lot on the Son Family so the Au is mainly on how, against all odds, this family still managed to find each other)

_About a song that I think would fit GoChi pretty well :D (the song in question being "Je te Donne" by Jean-Jacques Goldman but I'm pretty sure you wouldn't know it since most of it is in french and it is pretty old :(, I'll do a translation if you do want to hear about it :) )

_About how Goku was a smart kid, it's not his fault confused "stupid" and "was taught very little basic knowledge" :((

_About how, while I like the first telefilm on Bardock and prefer the personality they gave him, I largely prefer DB Minus as the story on how Goku got sent to Earth and my frustration with the telefilm being mostly used as the reference (though I can downplay that last part if you want). As a bonus I can also expand on how and why I also prefer the manga version of DB Minus over what they did in the DB Super Broly movie

Part 9 is here !

Ok I kinda feel dumb for not saying this before, but Grandpa Gohan is alive and well in this AU :D. Since Goku's not a saiyan here then he can't transform into an Oozaru, and I choose to believe that except for that and old age, nothing on Earth could kill Son Gohan Sr.

So one of the change that comes with with Grandpa here is that Goku knows a little more about the world and is little bit less naive. But only a little bit because he's still a very sheltered kid and hearing about the outside world from his Grandpa just isn't the same as experience it firsthand. Even in the manga, when Goku see a car for the first time he says that his Grandpa told him about it, yet he wasn't able to recognize it at first. It'll be like that for a lot of stuff here.

A 2nd change is that I imagine that Grandpa had waited for him to be old enough (like 10-11) to teach him that human can be bad and cunning sometimes and so to be wary of strangers. Which is also why he was wary when he bumped into Vegeta and Nappa. Sorry if that seemed out of character though the same logic from above applies here too. If Vegeta and Nappa had stopped being asshole and didn't give off villain vibe for like 15 seconds it would have been enough for Goku to drop his guard lol. Goku can't be anything but naive and easily trickable as long as he lives sheltered after all.

But flashback at Goku and ChiChi, on the way back to Goku home they talked. Of the fact that Goku was surprised on how strong ChiChi was ! Not to mention she had a monkey tail like him ! Grandpa told him that most people were either fully human or fully animal, and that he was unique. He's glad that's not the case though because it would have been a bit lonely otherwise. ChiChi proudly tell him about how her dad told her that she had a tail because she was a special special girl that was fated to greatness.

Yes the Ox-King completely made that up to cheer her up when she was starting feel self-conscious about it some years ago. Yes it worked wonderfully and put sparkles into his daughter's eyes and he regrets nothing. But nevermind that, Goku is way more surprised over the fact that ChiChi is girl ! *insert scene where ChiChi was standing all proud one second and then fall over when Goku exclaim his thought*

Can you blame him though, he's never met one before ! Now he's even more convince to share the fish he caught with her ! (his grandpa told him to be nice to girl after all). ChiChi must think so too coz she quickly loose her disappointment due to Goku uninterested in her skill, and instead swoon over him. Goku is strong, gentlemanly and he's willing to share his food with her ?! Truly that boy must be an angel from heaven. She has know Goku for half a day but if anything happens to him she will kill everyone on this planet and then herself. Which she would be 100% right to be btw. I mean look at him ! He's deserve the world !

And now we're back to the present where Grandpa is scolding everyone. And yes I mean everyone, that include Vegeta, Nappa and Raditz. He heard his grandson out and while he's not happy about him knocking out and tied up 3 people in retaliation (1 who had absolutely nothing to do with original incident), he's also not happy with 2 men nearly hitting his only family with a car. And yes this is completely their fault, nobody ever come here so Goku didn't know to look for cars, but they should have been more aware for animals on the road, and just drove slowly in the first place.

Well ChiChi and Raditz got off easy. ChiChi because she did nothing apart maybe taking kidnapping too lightly. And Raditz know perfectly what he did wrong (throw hands with an 11/12 year old), but he's completely unrepentant. Gohan know a lost cause when he sees one.

Anyway after those scoldings they can start talking about serious busyness. First, if he knows where the famous Muten Roshi could be. This was first because Goku interrupted Vegeta to ask the question (ChiChi talked about her situation and Goal on the way here, and Goku know he heard about "Muten Roshi" from his Grandpa once). Also Vegeta is glaring at Goku for that but all he got back was a curious look and then being completely ignored. Vegeta does not like Goku. Shame on him.

Anyway talks are done and in the end our merry band got : _A drawing and vague idea on how Muten Roshi look

Wait wait wait. Why is Goku coming ? Why is Grandpa Gohan letting him go with people he kidnapped this very morning ? How did Vegeta agreed to this ? And here I am again :D. Ok before starting where I left I would like to say that it hit me yesterday that since Bulma (and thus her whole family) is an alien here, there is no Capsule or Capsule Corps on Earth yet. I decided about that a long time ago but I just now realized that it meant no capsule in Og DB either lol.

So I'm correcting that now. You can now imagine Vegeta traveling in a multi-pupose vehicule (like that Airplane/Submarine Bulma, Krillin and Goku take in the Red Ribbon Arc) which is carrying behind a big ass luxury caravan or something (which I also imagine are all floating since it would make them fit for all landscape which would be Vegeta priority).

Anyway back to the story :D

So our duo, and their stalker Raditz, arrive in a village where the Dragon Ball is supposed to be. At first glance the village seems to be abandoned. Until ChiChi does pretty much what Goku did in the manga. AkA she smelled that the villager were still here and just broke into a random house.

What's interesting here is that I think Goku and ChiChi both do this out of ignorance on how that action could be harmful to someone, but that ignorance come from 2 different places. For Goku it was because of his utter isolation in the mountain. And for ChiChi it's because her Dad has been raiding people's homes for her whole life on Earth, so she's so used to it that she never questioned the morality of it all. She doesn't think it's good or righteous, she just never took the time (or had the idea) to question it.

Don't get me wrong ChiChi is pure of heart and she could ride Kint'un/Flying Nimbus but I truly believe that empathy/compassion/sympathy (or even simply consideration for the people you don't know) do not come naturally to the Saiyans. That's just not how their brain work. They of course can learn to do it, which make a saiyan who decide to show consideration for a stranger even more powerful in my eyes, because it's something, someone they put effort to become, not just something they were born with. But point is, to learn something you generally need to be taught. And when it comes to compassion well... Ox-king really wasn't the best teacher (at least up until that point in time).

Where I'm going with all this is that ChiChi is a good girl... A good girl that sometimes do evil things due to her upbringing xD.

Like right now in our story, where she trespassed into terrified villagers's home, got an axe in the head for her trouble and then had to be hold back by Vegeta to beat up those villager as retribution xDD. She'll learn eventually of course but it's not for right now.

For now Vegeta barely managed to stop her from going on her rampage. Granted the villager actually apologized for the axes so ChiChi stopped her assault but she was still in a bad mood. She will not be of help for anybody. Which means that Vegeta is alone into the negotiations to get the Dragon Ball. It shouldn't have been a problem really because the villager don't really care about the orange shiny orb that is somewhere around one of their house, and someone did nearly murder a girl. But still this task require the bare minimum of courtesy to achieve. Vegeta has negative points in courtesy.

Normally that wouldn't be an unsolvable problem for him coz he has money and do not hesitate to buy people into tolerating his rudeness with it. But here it doesn't really work out because it turns out that the village is frequently getting blackmailed and robbed by the same guy over and over again. So if they accepted the money it would be gone by the end of the day anyway.

The villagers do want a deal, and it would be for ChiChi to defeat him if possible. The situation has gotten so bad, they are afraid they're going to starve if this go on. ChiChi still in a bad mood and still resentful is having none of it. Vegeta is having none of it either. Asking such a task from a young princess just after trying to take her life does NOT sit right with him.

And so screaming match ensues.

Alright Part 6, here we we go :D !

Meanwhile Raditz was spying on them the whole time. He is putting his head against his car right now. First because he saw that ChiChi survived an axe swung so hard at her that it broke. He was pretty shocked and he knew he had to rethink his plan to steal the Dragon Ball. His conclusion was that he getting close to them and integrating the duo was his best bet. But he couldn't come now it would be too suspicious...

But like also JFC this was taking forever and no progress was being made and he had to physically restrain himself to not go there and take the matter into his own hand because it was getting hard to watch ! And that until he couldn't manage to stop himself and got over there despite all his good sense was telling him too.

So he went it, tried to calm everyone. He wasn't very successful at first but then he mentioned that he had a solution to their problem and that stunned everyone into listening. So Raditz solution was to defeated the Thief himself. Like that the money dilemma is resolved, Vegeta can buy the Dragon Ball and everyone is happy.

Vegeta is suspicious. ("How do you even know the situation ?""Dude I overheard your conversation, your screaming match wasn't really private" It wasn't even a lie.) He also asks about why he would help the villagers. Raditz make up some things about it being the right thing to do and how it would be cruel to let people in need down. All while looking away and sweating bullets of course. Vegeta decide that suspicious or not it wasn't his problem anyway.

Nevertheless Raditz speech made ChiChi feel a little guilty and rethink her decision to do nothing. Sure those people were jerks but they didn't deserved to starve right ? So she decide that she'll defeat the thief herself and that that. Nobody fights her on it apart maybe for some protest here and there but ChiChi made up her mind and we all know how stubborn and strong-willed she can be.

So they wait for the thief to arrive. But who's the thief here who might ask ? Is it still Oolong ? Someone else ? Do you have a guess right now ?

Well turns out the correct answer was tatadam... Nappa :DDD ! Can you guess that the Saiyan Saga of this AU is gonna be crack ? Because I surely don't any other way it could headed to be honest xD /not sarcastic

Now a little background on Nappa ! He's a bodybuilder, and while he his very strong, bodybuilding really doesn't make you a fighter. His body is sensible and easily injured. He also got no endurance. Needless to say the villager could have take him out. Maybe not in a 1vs1 because he's still able to like, crush rocks with his bare hand. But he would have stand no chance if they all ganged up on him.

So like Oolong, his goal is intimidation. It does not work on ChiChi. Her dad is the Ox-King, and she is not impressed whatsoever by this "Nappa". Beside in his attempts to scare her, he insulted her strenght, he had to go.

So Nappa is easily defeated and Humiliated, now what ? Well now Raditz try to enact his plan to get close to the duo to steal the DB. Vegeta doesn't like that, because suddenly Raditz fishiness is his problem, not the vilagers. Still Raditz non-negative talking skill could be useful so he accept. He also make sure to engage Nappa into their little group, to keep Raditz in check. How did he convinced Nappa ? Money of course. Weirdly (/sarcasm) Nappa became very respectful when talking to him after that :p.

And thus end the trip to Oolong Nappa's village. Where will the go next ? Here's a clue : they will finally meet a special someone... And I am not talking about Master Roshi ;]

Before I start, @erased-zamasu I saw that you like Saiyan ChiChi and Human Goku Au so maybe you would enjoy ? If you're only interested in the GoChi parts then we're getting to it :D ! You should read the part 1 of this though. For the rest just know that Vegeta is a rich boy searching the DB to get away from is dad in the summer break. He managed to recruit ChiChi into coming with him to help her search for Master Roshi and in return, once Mt Frypan is no longer on fire he can have the Dragon Ball here. He also recruited Nappa, who seems strong and can actually break rocks with his hands but wouldn't last 2 minutes in a fight because he's fragile actually, to be intimidating for him through the power of money. And Raditz just forced himself ounto this ragtag group because he plan to steal the Dragon Ball.

Aaand here is part 8. Enjoy :D !

So I kinda want this part to have horror movie vibe. Like protagonist are taken down 1 by 1 while they are split off you know ? Except it isn't probably going to possible :'). Except with Raditz maybe :').

So anyway Vegeta and Nappa find Goku carrying a giant fish on the road like Bulma did. This of course start an argument between them. And between Vegeta negative stats at communication/diplomacy, and Nappa who's default reaction was to try to intimidate what he thought was just a weird kid (nevermind the giant fish he was literally carrying, Nappa did not have a good perception roll), well Goku completely misunderstood the situation and our 2 idiots intention.

For a little background, I know that Grandpa Gohan took Goku with him to a trip into town once, and it did not go well with the villager (reread the part 1 if your confused by that). Which convinced Grandpa to isolate Goku nearly completely until he gets older. What I'm not sure though, is if Goku was old enough to remember the trip when it happened. But in any case, our monkey boy already has somewhat a negative biais because of it. Because even if he does not remember it happening, and Grandpa certainly did not told him, he still see that Grandpa really doesn't want him to go into a town. And by the way his Grandpa acts, the "why" is related to the people outside their mountain, even if he tried his best to hide it.

So yeah, seeing stranger already made him suspicious, but stranger than ride a very strange metal beast ? And that spoke to him with disdain and tried to intimidate him ? Ooh those guys are bad guys for sure !

So he knocks them out, quick and fast, and tell himself "yeah I stopped bad guys, Grandpa gonna be so proud :D". And then he hears the commotion of ChiChi and Raditz prior and he's like "There are more >:(". Grandpa isn't here, gone shopping for some supplies in a nearby village, so Goku the one who will have to step up. And so his hunt begin here >:D.

He know the forest well and he know how to travel efficiently so he finds Raditz before ChiChi does. And that's kind of where I wanted to place the horror vibe part, with Goku careful to not be seen by Raditz and taking him out by surprise (again) as nothing but his shadow is seen. But if we already saw Goku from his interaction with Vegeta and Nappa then what's the point ? Beside it isn't also a very "dragon ball" scenario, or something in character for Goku to do.

So instead Goku confront Raditz (who didn't have any injury from the fall thanks to being a gag manga character) face to face. And no, Raditz doesn't really connects any dots right for reasons I'll explain later. So the confrontation is mostly normal. Raditz is surprised to see someone here. And though he doesn't understand a thing of what Goku is saying (not because of accent or anything, he's just lacking context), he see that the kid is hostile and wants to fight. He has no trouble fighting with a 12 year old so he does. It didn't turn well for him. RIP Raditz.

Nonetheless this is the first indication that Goku is strong. Because while we hadn't see Raditz actually fight before this point. We know he's actually a fighter, unlike Nappa and Vegeta. And he do get to show off some technics before getting knocked out too. But also let's not kid ourself, Raditz was not that strong. He's weaker that Yamcha was at the beginning of the manga and he doesn't have a distinct style like Yamcha has. Still by normal human standard, he's no pushover.

So Goku now has a total of 3 people knocked out + 1 fish to tie up and carry back to his house. Not gonna be fun. Meanwhile ChiChi finally found where Raditz landed but no Raditz in sight ! (The Pterodactyl still there though). She does find traces of a fight and someone being taken away. She does to follow them but those traces stop midway ! (Goku remembered to erase them halfway). So she has no choice but to explore the surroundings until she finds something.

By the times she find Vegeta's car (with Goku's fish), Goku had already tied up all his "prisoners" on a tree near his house. He was coming back for his fish where he also saw ChiChi examining the scene to try to find out what happened. And he got angry because not only was she probably one of the bad guys, but she also seems to want to steal his fish :(. So of course a fight ensued.

And Goku won. Okay okay let me explain my reasoning here. I know by all means ChiChi should win. They're both the same age, probably both got trained by 2 legends as soon as it was possible and ChiChi as a biological advantage of being of a superpowered warrior race. BUT, I have no doubt that Gohan was the better martial artist between himself and Ox-king. And it said that he knew every type of martial arts in the world, which he absolutely taught Goku (as much as he could up until that point anyway, Goku is still very much in training after all). Plus I think they would have been more rigorous in their training : considering it a way to develop themself spiritually and so important to devot themself to it. While ChiChi and Ox-king did it because they liked it and as a form of Father-Daughter bonding.

I also think Gyumao/Ox-king way of training ChiChi was close to Master Roshi : aka nearly entirely based on strengthening yourself first and developing a martial art style second. So ChiChi only has the basics in that regards.

What I'm saying is that in terms of brute strength ChiChi is definitely stronger. If this was arm-wrestling she would have won effortlessly. But this is a fight, a martial art spar. And Goku was taught how to handle opponent stronger than him. So the match is long, and hard, and leave him dead on his feet, but yes he did win it.

ChiChi is incredibly impressed. That boy is so cool ! And strong ! And ! And ! What he is saying right now doesn't really matter because ChiChi express her thoughts out loud after that. She is very excited (and definitely has a crush). Which confuse Goku. And thanks to that they managed to explain what's going on to each other.

Goku casually apologise for knocking and kidnapping her friends and invite her (and them) to dinner with him to make it up. ChiChi says to not worry about it, it's not a big deal :D, and can't wait to go eat (and to taste Goku's cooking). Those pure-hearted innocent children, neither of them realize that normal people do not consider "knocking out and kidnapping" as "not a big deal" lol, bless their soul.

They're gonna find out quickly though, especially Goku. Because when they got into his home, they find Grandpa Gohan, back from his trip with now three awake guest which he wasn't happy to find tied to a tree (yes they woke up before he come back).

Will Goku survive his Grandpa scolding ! Of course ! How ? Wait to find out :D. See you next time :DD

_An AU I have where Goku is an earthling and ChiChi a saiyan (Og DB version and/or DBZ version)

_An AU where Vegeta was sent to Earth instead of Goku, but Goku is still very much the Main Character (beside I hyperfocus a lot on the Son Family so the Au is mainly on how, against all odds, this family still managed to find each other)

_About a song that I think would fit GoChi pretty well :D (the song in question being "Je te Donne" by Jean-Jacques Goldman but I'm pretty sure you wouldn't know it since most of it is in french and it is pretty old :(, I'll do a translation if you do want to hear about it :) )

_About how Goku was a smart kid, it's not his fault confused "stupid" and "was taught very little basic knowledge" :((

_About how, while I like the first telefilm on Bardock and prefer the personality they gave him, I largely prefer DB Minus as the story on how Goku got sent to Earth and my frustration with the telefilm being mostly used as the reference (though I can downplay that last part if you want). As a bonus I can also expand on how and why I also prefer the manga version of DB Minus over what they did in the DB Super Broly movie

Part 7 here we are :D ! Sorry if this is coming later than usual, I got a little tired *laughing + sweat-dropping emoji*. But here are what our merry gang is doing !

So our quator are now searching for the dragon balls in harmony and without anybody trying to betraying the others. I am lying through my teeth not 1 people in this party has a goal in common with the others. Though at least ChiChi and Nappa is honest about theirs.

But anyway they have now a choice to make. There are 2 Dragon Balls at relatively the same distance, so the question is which one to go first. One is up the mountains and the other is in the middle of the sea. Taking into consideration the shortest path and nothing else, going for the one at sea for would be the best. But actually getting the one in the sea would be complicated and require a lot of logistic, if only because there's a high chance that the ball ended deep in the ocean. Vegeta absolutely planned for this, and his car can also turn into a submarine, but still it's risky and going to be a pain in the ass to get. So the ones in the Mountain it is !

And that is how our ragtag group made their way to Mount Paozu :D. Blissfully unaware of what they were getting into. I mean, for all they know, that mountain's not even inhabited so really what could happen, right >:) ? The most eventful morning they had in the way there was when a talking turtle tried to get their attention. For what ? Well Vegeta, completely ignored and blow him off so they may never know. ChiChi did chastised Vegeta for his rudeness but really didn't do anything to stop him.

So by now I think you guessed that the "special boy" I was talking about earlier was Goku :D ! It's kinda it's part right now, we'll get to Roshi's meeting later.

You know I was very eager to get to that part. I can nearly imagine a title for this episode like "The Monkey Boy" with the shadow of kid Goku with the Power Pole/Nyoï'bo in the background and the Four Star Dragon Ball with like the Dragon Ball inside Mount Frypan castle in foreground corner.

Anyway the episode in itself ! It would start with the splitting off. Now Nappa is a big guy and even in his wildest predictions, Vegeta had never foresighted that he would gain a companion, much less four ! Long story short there's not enough place in his car for all of them except if you count the caravan it's trailing behind it. And they would rather see the sight of the travel, Mount Paozu is beautiful thank you.

Also bonus info : there is enough places in the caravan for 4, but not enough for all of them to have their own room xD. So Vegeta make Raditz sleep outside because of it (and also because he doesn't trust him). He can't do that to ChiChi coz she's a princess + he has a deal with her and dad. Nor can he do it Nappa coz he's one of his employee now (not-official as it is) and he has some moral. So yeah, Rip Raditz lol.

But anyway, thankfully since Raditz was tailing them at first he has his own vehicle which I guess would be a motorcycle or something ? So you have Vegeta and Nappa on Vegeta's car, and Raditz and ChiChi on Raditz motorcycle. Raditz needed to pee so he stops and tell the others they (him and ChiChi) will join up with them soon (there's only one path and his motorcycle can go way faster than the car, so there's no problem in that).

And then what happen in episode 2 to Bulma and Goku basically happen here to ChiChi and Raditz. Except the reason is slow to rescue Raditz is because she thought that he could handle himself (he is a fighter after all). But he was also surprised attacked in the middle of his private affair and it's hard to use martial when you're in the firm grip of a pterodactyl, he's not a bad fighter in this AU I swear :').

So ChiChi rescue him pretty much the same way Goku rescued Bulma. She took the motorcycle, learned how to used it to "fly" on the... fly eheh, and used the blade on her helmet to cut the dinosaur head. While he was still holding Raditz. ChiChi didn't have the foresight to see that her action of killing what was kidnapping Raditz would result in Raditz falling off to his potential death. She had nothing planned to catch him and didn't have anything to do spontaneously. And thus has fallen in the forest higher up in the mountain.

I'm sorry Raditz I didn't mean to be mean to you so many times here it just happened T^T.

Thus the group is officially split off. And I think I'm gonna stop here coz this is getting longer than expected to set up. But I promise next time Goku will truly be here ! I'll also try to write next part today but I can't promise anything sorry... See you soon !

Part 3 here we go !

So since Vegeta is from the opposite way Bulma was that mean he already passed the Rabbit Gang. Since 1 thing he got over Bulma is his ability to actually keep on to his capsule, he didn't stay long, just enough to get gaz and go. Thus he didn't meet the rabbit boss and nothing happened.

Actually really Vegeta is barely getting started with his adventure, he only has 1 Dragon Ball for now and its the one he found in his storage. Meeting Ox-king was the most adventurous thing that happened on his journey yet.

With this out of the way the next adventure of ChiChi and Vegeta is :

Going through the desert (in an practical vehicle because if Vegeta has 1 contribution in this journey, it's that), and getting spotted by a certain lone bandit.

I am of course talking about Raditz :p (we'll get Yamcha back in the DBZ part). So there was Raditz, happy to have found a new sources of income, only to realize that it was Vegeta in that car. And like I think a running gag here would be that Vegeta meet a lot of people already, way before he started the DB search. And each of those people, no matter how short or how long ago Vegeta meet them, know that he's gonna get them in trouble and be insufferable while doing.

So Raditz is comparing on the pro and con of actually trying to rob the guy and if it's worth it. Because yes he's sure to bring trouble but also he's filthy rich. Tough choice. In the end Raditz decide his best bet is to follow and monitor him from afar, waiting for a chance to rob him without having to actually interact with him.

I'm glad you're liking it so far :D ! I was worried I was boring you eheh. Ok back to where we left it, Raditz !

So to be able to sneak and rob everything he can when Vegeta is away, he needs to know when Vegeta is away. Thus he starts monitoring him and ChiChi from afar with the DB equivalent of a drone. That's how he learnt about the Dragon Balls.

ChiChi and Vegeta were talking, well more like ChiChi was talking and Vegeta acted as if he was forced to listen against his will xD, about the wish she would like. Of course that lead her to ask what wish Vegeta wanted so bad that he would start a whole journey to have it (especially since he already seems to have everything). Vegeta just smirks and tell her it's a secret.

The truth is, he has 0 wish in mind. He just wanted to get out of his house for the summer. His dad is just like him, personnality wise you see. Except, 10 times worse. Even Vegeta (Third of his name) can't stand it xD. So he found the first pretext he could find to get away from his house and didn't look back.

Ok once again back to Raditz. I guess I should get into his backstory here : he is still Goku's brother, but he is fully human (or full Anthropo Monkey, whichever suits you best). Now after the birth and then the giving up of Goku, his life started to suck actually. His home was full of tension and reminder of what was missing. At school and outside people didn't forget that he have an hybrid brother somewhere and he was the victim of jabs for it. Even more well-meaning people (relatively speaking) sometimes made him uncomfortable because they would, with various level of discretion, search for anything "monkey-like" about it. He has comment if people thinks he's too hairy or that his ears are too big, etc...

So one day (probably at like, 15 or older), he just say "fuck all this actually" and left... Only to realize he had 0 skills for himself except the fighting his dad and the bullies too kind of taught him. So Bandit it was then ! And now he just live like this.

So when he heard about the Dragon Ball from spying on Vegeta and understood it could grant a wish (hard to believe but if Vegeta does then it must be true), he just went woah. With this I could completely erase that stupid stigma from history and our family could have been happy !

And yeah that's his wish, and it's sweet :). What is less sweet is the numbers of underhanded, dirty and cowardly plans he immediately went to create after that realization hit him xD. Things Yamcha would have never dreamed of doing. Of course he will never have any opportunity to actually act on them. And they would have all failed anyway since Raditz have not once interacted with our main duo and thus has not the shade of a clue on who ChiChi is and how crazy strong she is xp. But I feel it was important to precise that he did have them and would have gone for it in the right circumstances. For his character *nods gravely to myself*

Anyway next time our hero finally reaches another Dragon Ball ! Will they actually get it this time ? Wait and find out in next episode ;D
