I’m afraid some ‘big name’ Snape fans on here have become increasingly passive aggressive and condescending and gatekeeping of late. Perhaps because they haven’t been challenged in a while, I don’t know, but some good people with interesting and novel perspectives (on classism, on ethics, on redemption, on whether the term ‘mudblood’ applies to Snape, on fanfic etc etc etc, pick any topic you like) have been piled on.

I'm not going to get into absurd polemics or cast shade on anyone because that's not what I'm here for. I'm just a girl who wants to have fun, that's how Cindy Lauper taught me and that's how I live.
