i lucked into the latest street fighter 6 beta even tho all i have is a steam deck. but it fuckin works. really well! plays at 60 on medium/high settings, even though this was absolutely NOT one of the supported platforms. i’m probably breaking the rules but fuck it, i really wanted to see if the deck could support it. it’s really fucking good. like... best sf since sfiii3. i love how it plays. how it looks. all the extras. even in beta2 it’s already 10x more complete than sf5 ever was. i know i said i was done preordering sf games (after the sf5 disaster), but this one... i already love it too much. it has good ai. it has a ton of singleplayer content. it’s combat is GREAT. and they handled multiplayer so well like i can totally avoid all the tryhard scrubs and just play. and i have been. a lot. i’ve never played a fighter online like this. esp not with randos. but i just fuckin love it. i love losing. i love winning. i love close matches most of all. because i love learning. i love that i can go up to a cabinet and have no idea if i’m gonna fight a beginner or a pro. it’s like a real arcade. IT’S SO FUCKIN COOL! i even got to play with one of my favorite streamers (desertp) and it was so gd fun (and they were so fuckin nice n complimenting my play like gosh). i tried to play with maximilian dood but his fanbase just crowded the servers sooo much it wasn’t gonna happen. i got to dance around him tho, lol. anyways please buy street fighter 6. even if you’re new to fighters. you’ll love it.
