like.. it was just an inconvenience for a long while but vero realizes a little too late that their leg kind of... hurts whenever they shift their weight to it too much

and they discover that the repeated encounters with fuzzy ooze has made their leg start to try to grow straight bones in there.

since inkling 'skeletons' are largely cartilage, the rest of their body is just a lot softer than bones.. they're now basically a water balloon with a built in needle. yikes.

they'd still be able to do things, of course, but they'll probably need more breaks when walking, absolutely need to be careful if running, so on so forth.

I probably need to do more research if I wanna do smt like this though so I'm sitting on it >
