055 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ @NotGangGangChicken | Plant Based Chicken ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Since it was the beginning of Lent, we decided to try and look for meat alternatives (which is not fish) and came across this while browsing @foodpanda_ph. Plant-based Chicken? What? We were curious so we bought some. When it came, I thought it was chicken skin, but it was actually made from mushrooms, Oyster Mushroom (I Think?). Did it taste like chicken? No, but the breading and spices made it feel like your eating chicken. Was it good? Yes! I recommend this if you are craving for some chicken but don't want chicken. Hahahaha.😁 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I ordered 2 sets, one was with sauce mixed in (Lemon Pepper, Honey Miso Butter) and another with sauce on the side (Chipotle BBQ, Hot Style) and I also ordered some Cheese Sauce and Sriracha Mansi. I recommend ordering the sauces on the side to keep your chicken/plant-based chicken crunchy. The one with the sauce mixed in became soggy but its still good. I just prefer to have that crunch. 😁 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The sauces: 1. Lemon Pepper was sour 2. Honey Miso Butter tasted like Honey Butter Chips 3. Chipotle BBQ has a good heat 4. Hot Style confused me because it wasn't that spicy 5. Sriracha Mansi was spicy, my fave. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ All in all, we were happy.
