ok heres some Professional Nesting Tips from a professional nester. i think i have the best nest setup in the world so maybe with my tips you too will be a professional nester.

essential 1. a beanbag

this is obvious. preferably a beanbag that holds its shape for a good while, i like the ones with foam chunks. alternatively if youre like me and have an unchecked hoarding problem, you can get a beanbag cover and stuff as many plushies that aren't already in one of your other comfy spots as you can in there. this can be iffy though because you might get sad about squishing them and that's fair.

essential 2. a corner

this is equally obvious. the more closed off you are the better, you cant just have your beanbag Along The Wall. what are you going to lean up against. for reference, my beanbag is in the back corner and Also smushed between the couch along one wall and an armchair along the other. this means that my beanbag is almost fully surrounded, with a me's worth of space between the chair and armchair to get in and out. (though if you wanna be fully enclosed and just crawl over whatever walls you put up to get in and out that's equally fun)

ok now heres where i start Recommending stuff. first: comfort

first off, if you have some extra couch cushions lying around. use as many as u can of those. theyre firm enough to not generally deflate so theyre good things to back the walls with. generally two works for me, if you have a gap between them smush a pillow in there

pillows. so many pillows. i have four pillows currently in my corner but this can be adjusted. I've got one long pillow to be Under Me, since I know the beanbag will Generally deflate where i put weight on it so i'm trying to balance it out. one pillow gets smushed in the gap between the cushions, maybe more if that doesn't even it out fully. use one pillow under your legs or between them if you decide to nap, gotta have good spinal alignment while youre curled up in the tiniest ball imaginable. generally it's a good idea to have a pillow squished in every corner of your beanbag, so if you're only walled in by the corner you won't need as many as if you also have a couch bounding you.

plushies! do i even need to say why. you can not have them if you want but consider that theyre also like, bonus pillows. i have a big kirby and a big waddle dee in the corners of my beanbag that i use as my main napping pillows, but i also have a blahaj who i use as my main cuddle buddy / between leg pillow since she is long enough to be both. if you have some weighted plushies i definitely recommend adding those. i personally enjoy positioning the weighted plushies to be like theyre spooning me but thats just me.

* EDIT: this is a weird one but as an addition to the plushies. to all the titty havers. I would Thoroughly recommend having a somewhat thinner and longer plushie to be a Titty Separator. having a titty separator is a game changer. extra bonus if it's also a thigh separator. shoutout to plush snakes and eels.

blankets. at least one. if you want to get extra fancy and/or if the walls surrounding your beanbag are relatively tall you can finagle your blanket to be like, a little tent if you have enough anchors. tuck one of the edges behind your couch cushions and see what else you've got. this isn't required, you can use your blanket like a normal blanket, but who doesn't want a comfy tent.

second: convenience

ok so we're going to want an outlet. preferably a powerstrip. do not put this under or behind the beanbag you will regret it, but it's somewhat likely there might be an outlet in that gap between your couch cushions? if all else fails you probably won't be too far away from one. my power strip personally is, uh, under the couch bounding me. which isn't ideal, every time i want to plug something in i have to semi-dismantle everything close to the couch, but it's doable. that's the bad part about being walled off though.

we will also want pockets. this is most feasible if you are walled in, shoutout to those organizers that go over the arm of your couch. they are literally game changers. put water bottles there. put snacks there. put your billion electronics there. put pencils and sharpeners and sketchbooks there. you can put everything here. never leave. if you do not have a couch or whatever bounding you you can also get a pocket organizer and hang it above your nest with one of those adhesive hook things.

i think?? these are my main big recommendations towards having a comfy nest of your own?? please add more recommendations. also look at my nest.

having an animal in there with you is also essential, btw. i forgot to add that.

having a special little corner to curl up into and feel so small and surrounded by Soft is literally so important in this society

Vee hoards tiny stuffed animals, like, the really mini ones that you can slip in your pocket or attach to a keychain. They have a LOT of them: hamsters, bunnies, dogs, cats, at least two bats, a mouse, and of course a lot of the classic teddy bears! They also have some of those little plushies that are made for toddlers, the ones that have the string limbs and little bells inside that jingle when you shake it and different textures on them and they use them for sensory toy type things; they really like the little jingly noises and the textures and stuff. But they mostly just have the regular mini stuffed animals, without any bells or sensory things.

They always keep at least one plushie with them at all times, and when they’re stressed or upset, they can just reach into their pocket and pet it and maybe squish it a lil bit and it makes them feel better! They get more whenever they can, and of course they have a name for every single one, so Dee always lowkey panics when Vee gets a whole bunch more, because he has to remember all the new names. The only reason he tries to remember all the names is so he can make Vee happy!!

AH..this isnt a least fave at ALL but i had a lot of trouble w kiawes trial..im replaying sumo and i recently finished it and it was a bit easier than last time but..the first time i challenged him i had to battle the totem pokemon 3 times before i won..i didnt have any pokemon that were strong against fire types and i thought salazzle was a dragon type so i sent out my sylveon and got absolutely destroyed..all the trials were so fun tho!!! i really liked alola!!! they were all very unique and it was overall smth really different and fancy!! i dont think i have a least fave hvfjhvf

HMM...i wanna say my current pkmn moon team!!!! it has all my fave pokemon and its a very balanced team in general? which is very important bc im very competitive and i get really frustrated when i lose hvfjhvf i also captured a bunch of pokemon along the way and i switch them out sometimes and its smth i hadnt done in a while so it was really fun!!!!

OK SO!!!!!! i was gonna choose a cute plushie from the internet but!!!! instead!!! im choosing my bulbasaur plushie!!!! i have two bulbasaur plushies..one is a small-ish bulbasaur and the other is a tiny keychain plushie bulbasaur!! i got the tiny one at the con i went to last week :D hes so cute and i just squish him all day...hes a squishable baby

i own two 11" meemeows (pierce and ein) and two 5" mini meemeows (rare gold ein and shark)

plushy squishy: 9/10. not the same kind of squish as squishmallows but they are very lovely and huggable and i want to throw them against the wall really hard

fabric quality: 7/10. Very average, but on the good side of average! i cant get tired of hugging and petting them. some aph&friends meemeows with the hoodies have different fabric from their fur for the hoodie and some have the same fabric, it's noticable with ein and pierce-- the inner hoodie of ein's has distracting white innards while pierce's is blue through and through.

seams and stitching: again, just fine, maybe 5/10, maybe a lil below average but nothing i would return over. it depends on the fabric, but if it's white with darker painted on, its a little noticeable around the seams as the fabric bends. Pierce came with a gamer-headphones-looking dent on his forehead Lol. ....On the 5" mini gold ein meemeow, I found loose threads and connecting stitches, the hand-stitched ladder stitch on his belly where the manufacturers added his fluff is very noticable but only distracting if you look at his belly (i pretend he came with an umbilical cord). The same stitch exists on every other meemeow, but it's very faint on the average plush-fabric meemeows.

embroidery: Perfectly fine on the 11" plushies. the plush 5" seems just fine, as well. the satin/gold threads on the gold ein plush does not reall take it well and look kinda uggly but i love him anwyays

display quality: theyr'e really fucking cute im gonna be honest i have to be kept away from the toy aisle at walmart

highly reccomend if you love a character from the aph&friends line. theyre a bit pricey as i had to pay like $11 in shipping on top of the price of the plushie..

can anyone with a (non sparkly) meemeow plush please vouch for the quality. im debating getting the zane meemeow
