The bathroom door clicked shut behind In-ho, sealing the three of you inside a world momentarily free from the horrors of the games. The fluorescent light buzzed overhead, casting a pale glow that accentuated the blood and grime staining your green tracksuits.

Gi-hun stood by the sink, his shoulders sagging with exhaustion as he scrubbed at his arms. “This never gets easier,” he muttered, his voice hoarse from shouting during the chaos.

You stepped closer, reaching out to rest a hand on his back. “We made it through. That’s what matters.”

In-ho approached from behind, his movements fluid and purposeful. He slipped between you and Gi-hun, crowding the two of you against the sink. His hands, warm and calloused, brushed yours as he turned the faucet on again, the icy water cascading over all three of your hands.

“You’re both terrible at cleaning up,” he said, his tone soft but edged with a teasing lilt. He reached for a scrap of cloth hanging by the mirror and dipped it under the stream.

Gi-hun laughed lightly, the sound strained but genuine. “We’ve been a little preoccupied.”

In-ho smirked, turning his attention to you. “Then let me take care of you.”

Before you could respond, he lifted the cloth to your face, his touch gentle but firm as he wiped away a streak of blood near your temple. His other hand came up to cup your jaw, tilting your head toward him. His dark eyes held yours, their intensity stealing your breath.

Gi-hun shifted closer, his hand sliding to your hip as he pressed against your side. “He’s thorough, isn’t he?” Gi-hun’s voice was lower now, a hint of playfulness mingling with something deeper.

In-ho’s smirk softened as he set the cloth aside, his thumb brushing over your cheek. “I don’t leave things half-done.”

The weight of their attention was intoxicating, their bodies so close you could feel the heat radiating from them. Gi-hun’s hand drifted upward, his fingers curling around the curve of your waist, while In-ho leaned in, his lips just a whisper away from yours.

“Tell us to stop,” In-ho murmured, his voice barely audible. “If this isn’t what you want...”

“We have to be quick, the guards might show up at any moment”, Gi-hun whispered, alerting you. The sound of the alarm clock early in the morning woke Y/N from a deep sleep. When he opened his eyes, he felt an empty feeling in his chest, like an inexplicable nostalgia.

He got out of bed, got dressed, and put the finishing touches on his uniform. However, the sky was overcast and the weather seemed as gloomy as his emotions.

Just as he was about to leave the house, something caught his attention: the neighbor across the street was leaving her apartment. It was Cho Hyun-ju.

Although they had barely ever spoken, Y/N always saw Hyun-ju from her door or sometimes they passed each other in the elevator, every day at the same time. His gaze would linger on her and his heart would race slightly.

But he never found the courage to approach her and talk to her... He didn't think he was someone handsome, someone who could catch someone's attention because of his beauty. He just wanted to catch someone's attention and that someone was only Hyun-ju.

That morning, Hyun-ju seemed to be taking longer than usual. Her gaze was lost, as if something was tormenting her. Y/N watched her from afar, growing increasingly worried. What could be tormenting this beautiful girl?.

He gathered his courage and approached her cautiously. “Oh, hello Hyun-ju…” He greeted her in a soft tone with a shy smile. Trying to feign confidence, him nervously grabbed the straps of his backpack as he stood beside her to wait for the elevator as well.

Hyun-ju turned around upon hearing his voice. She looked a little surprised to see the Y/N greeting her. She smiled slightly, but it was clear that she was distracted from something else.

“Hello…” She replied in a soft tone, and returned her gaze to her phone in hand.

"What a busy day, huh?" Him asked timidly. But he mentally scolded himself for the somewhat silly question.

It was obvious that he was having a busy day but he didn't know what to ask anymore, the words wouldn't come out. And he let go of the straps of his backpack to play with his hands, it was a hint of nervousness that he usually had.

And he tried to start a conversation but he was probably being stupid.

How could he not be when the pretty woman was by his side and made his heart beat faster with just her presence.

Hyun-ju sighed deeply. Her seemed a little exhausted and distracted. “Yeah, too much…” She said, her gaze fixed on her phone.

She was short on time and the elevator was about to arrive, so she was aware that the reader was trying to be nice.

Seeing her, he tried to lighten the mood a bit and maybe make her feel comfortable.

“I understand… as my grandmother used to say, after the storm there’s a rainbow right around the corner.” He said jokingly and laughed softly as he looked at her.

Him was trying to take the awkwardness out of the conversation, but he was probably being a weird jerk. If she saw him, his grandmother would surely scold him for how silly he was acting.

Hyun-ju laughed softly, her expression relaxing a little at Y/N joke. "I hope so," she replied with a small sigh.

The elevator arrived, and the doors opened in front of them.

The two of them entered the elevator in silence. It was the opportune moment to continue talking, or to stay quiet and keep their distance.

After a silence, I turned around to look at her and admire her at the same time.

That was the effect Cho Hyun-ju had on him.

"You know... ehh... I know we don't know each other very well but if you need help with something... you can knock on my door, you know... between neighbors we help each other." He joked the last bit and fell down a few seconds later.

He told himself mentally and looked back in front of him. He had surely made Hyun-ju uncomfortable and maybe ruined it with a few words.

Hyun-ju seemed a little surprised by Reader's offer, but soon sounded grateful. "Thank you," she replied softly, as her gaze met his. And she gave him a gentle smile.

At that moment, Y/N could see that beautiful sparkle in his eyes. And she almost fell over if it weren't for the fact that he was gathering strength to maintain the composure of a love-struck fool.

It was the first time she had conversed with him seriously, and his presence had already lightened her mood a little.

The elevator was close to reaching the lobby and the door was about to open.

They both disconnected their conversation and headed to the lobby of the building. As they headed towards the door of the place, silence filled the space again.

Would he have the courage to say something else to her? The moment was still there, waiting for a word, a question, a gesture, an acknowledgement of the other's presence.

It was his chance to invite her to eat something or something she liked to do. He had to muster up the courage and do it. It was just a few words and that was all.

Could he do it or not?.

Because everything seemed to be so difficult for him.

Without further ado, his steps stopped at the door of the small hall and he looked at Hyun-ju.

Before he could say anything else, her words simply played a trick on him.

"Goodbye Hyun-ju..." He reluctantly said goodbye to her.

Hyun-ju stopped at the sound of his farewell and turned to look at him.

His gaze finally connected with Y/N's, and a sort of sense of recognition flashed across his expression.

"Bye, Y/N. See you later." She said as he gave her a small smile.

Though there weren't many words, that brief exchange of goodbyes seemed to have dissipated some of the tension of the moment.

The connection felt brief, but meaningful...

As Y/N walked away, the feeling of sadness and self-loathing settled in his chest.

He knew he was a fool for not being able to communicate with Hyun-ju properly, for not having the courage to get closer to her.

What would have happened if he took more of a risk?.

Doubt flooded his mind, and the weight of the lost opportunity became more visible with each step he took away from the building.

But only time would tell, he just had to gather more courage and try to start more conversations so she could get to know him better and feel comfortable talking to each other.

I had to keep trying.

1:56 a.m. That’s the time you finally arrived at the hotel after a long day of the Squid Game event in LA. “Have a good night,” you said, bowing politely to the other cast members and staff as you and Yuri stepped out of the elevator.

You swiped the keycard and pushed the door open, stepping inside the room with a sigh of relief. Yuri followed closely behind.

“Argh, I’m so tired,” Yuri groaned, collapsing onto the floor in exhaustion.

To be honest, you felt the same, the day had been far too long. Still, you had to admit it was an honor meeting all the big artists who attended the event. As Yuri’s manager, you knew you needed to brace yourself for more days like this once Squid Game Season 2 officially released.

“Get up Yuri. There’s a couch, you know.” You dropped onto the sofa, pulling out your iPad to start drafting the report for the day.

“Oppa… I’m hungry. Can you call room service?” Yuri turned her gaze to you, her eyes pleading.

“You were asked earlier if you wanted something to eat, and you said no,” you replied, shaking your head.

Her lips formed a pout as she turned her head away, resting it against the floor. “I wasn’t hungry back then.”

You sighed, unable to resist her expression. Without a word, you grabbed your phone and called for room service. Yuri bit the inside of her cheek, fighting back the smile threatening to tug at her lips as she listened to you order her food.

“Thank you, oppa!” Yuri finally got to her feet. “I’ll go get changed,” she said, darting to her room like she was racing the food to the door.

The knock came not long after. “Is that the food?” Yuri shouted from her room.

Seriously, her instincts when it comes to food is something else. At the door stood the room service attendant, balancing a silver tray with practiced ease. The faint aroma of warm bread and something savory wafted toward you, instantly comforting. You signed the check with a quiet “Thank you” before taking the tray and closing the door.

Back in the living room, Yuri was already sitting on the floor by the coffee table, her smile practically reaching the ceiling. Her puppy eyes followed your every movement as you set the tray down beside your iPad. You took the seat across from her.

“Thank you for the food!” she chirped, spreading butter onto her bread. She took one good bite into her mouth.

“How is it?” you asked as you prepared your own.

“Wah, it’s so good,” she replied, her face lighting up as she took another bite.

You reached for your iPad, but Yuri slapped your hand away. “Just do that tomorrow. Don’t you ever get tired?” she asked, annoyance flickering across her face.

“I need to send the report early Yuri,” you said, picking up the iPad with your free hand. As much as you wanted to listen to her, the higher-ups back in Korea are expecting it soon.

“You’re always working so hard. Why don’t you relax for a bit?” Yuri’s voice softened, slightly muffled by the piece of bread she was still biting on. She rose to her feet, her steps light as she moved behind you. The bread bobbed slightly between her lips as her hands found your shoulders, kneading the tension buried deep in your muscles.

A quiet sigh escaped you as her thumbs pressed slow, deliberate circles into your upper back. “That feels good,” you murmured, the day’s dull ache starting to melt away under her touch. She shifted slightly, taking the last bite of the bread still in her mouth and chewing quickly before her fingers worked down your shoulder blades, trailing to the base of your neck. Each movement expertly eased the strain.

You opened your iPad as she continued. “I just couldn’t convince you could I?” she said with a sigh.

“Can’t be helped,” you replied, popping the last piece of your bread into your mouth, chewing calmly as if her words didn’t faze you.

“You know, oppa,” Yuri leaned closer, her breath brushing your ear, “I could use some relief too.”

“Then go to sleep,” you replied flatly.

“Come on, oppa. I know something that will relieve us both,” she teased, whispering softly to your ear as she rests her head on your shoulder. Her arms looped around you, her sweet, alluring scent hitting your nose. Still, your focus stayed firmly on the iPad.

Her eyes flickered to the screen. “‘Yuri delivered an engaging performance at today’s Squid Game promotional event, interacting well with fans and media, despite minor nervousness during the Q&A,’” she read aloud, her face brushing faintly against yours.

She giggled. “Minor nervousness? Oppa, you make it sound like I was about to pass out.”

Your tone didn’t waver. “If you’re done reading over my shoulder, you should get some sleep.”

Yuri pouted but wasn’t fazed. “But I think I deserve more credit, don’t you?” Her hands trailed down your chest, going lower with each word. "Let's just have fun for tonight oppa," Her lips brushed against your ear as she whispers softly before planting a soft kiss.

“Go to sleep, Yuri,” you said, flat and detached, before her hand reaches just above your crotch.

“Tch, you’re no fun,” she muttered with a small huff, pulling back. Her lips curled in a slight sneer, her eyes narrowing just enough to show her annoyance, though the playful glint in them gave her away. It was that unmistakable mix of irritation and teasing you’d seen a hundred times before. “I’ll be sleeping now. Have fun making me sound good on that report.”

She stepped to your side, her hand catching your cheek and turning your head toward her. Before you could pull away, she leaned in and pressed a quick, open-mouthed kiss against your lips, her tongue brushing briefly against yours.

It was casual, effortless, and without any deeper meaning.

You didn’t flinch or react. By now, you were far too used to her antics to let them bother you.

Yuri grabbed another piece of bread and a small cup of butter from the tray, turning to head toward her room. As she reached the door, she paused briefly and glanced back. “Good night, oppa,” she murmured with a faint smirk before disappearing inside, the soft click of the door marking her exit.

For you, it was nothing—just Yuri being Yuri.

after 3 long days playing the squid craft games minecraft event, quackity and his friends, Mariana, roier, Juan and Mr Phillip were eliminated on the second game of the day.

Across from you, the Salesman leaned casually against the table, his signature smirk firmly in place. He toyed with the revolver in his hand, spinning the cylinder with a flick of his wrist. His eyes—dark, calculating, and endlessly amused—never left you.

“You know,” he said, his voice as smooth as silk, “most people wouldn’t agree to this game. It’s dangerous. Final. But then again...” He stepped closer, the gun dangling loosely from his fingers. “You’re not like most people, are you?”

“Guess I just enjoy living on the edge,” you shot back, refusing to let the tremor in your voice betray you.

He chuckled, a low sound that sent a shiver down your spine. “Oh, you’re more than just that. You’re reckless. Stubborn. And,” he tilted his head, his smirk deepening, “you’re very, very intriguing.”

The gun clicked as he opened the cylinder, slipping a single bullet into one of the chambers. The sound echoed through the room, sharp and deliberate. He snapped it shut with a flourish, his eyes gleaming with anticipation.

“Let’s see how lucky you are today,” he murmured, stepping into your personal space.

You tensed as he crouched in front of you, the revolver resting loosely in his grip. His free hand reached out, brushing against your jaw to tilt your face upward. The touch was deceptively gentle, his thumb lingering for just a moment too long.

“Do you always get this close to people you’re threatening?” you asked, your voice laced with defiance.

“Only the ones worth the effort.” His smirk widened, but his eyes were sharp, dissecting you as though trying to unravel the very core of who you were.

He straightened, spinning the cylinder once more before pressing the cold barrel of the revolver against your temple. The pressure was light, almost playful, but the weight of what it symbolized made your heart pound.

“What’s the matter?” he asked, leaning down so that his lips were just inches from your ear. “Not so fearless now?”

You swallowed hard, meeting his gaze head-on. “Maybe I just don’t feel like giving you the satisfaction.”

His laugh was quiet, almost a hum. “Oh, you’ve already done that.” He pulled back slightly, shifting the revolver to your lips. His thumb brushed over your bottom lip as he tilted your head back further, his voice dropping to a whisper. “Open.”

The command sent a wave of heat through you, not from fear, but from something darker, more visceral. You parted your lips, the cold metal slipping inside, heavy against your tongue. The intimate nature of the act was suffocating, his hand steady as he watched you, unblinking.

“There it is,” he said softly, almost to himself. “That spark. That fire. You don’t want to lose, do you?” Click. The gun doesn’t go off.

You glared at him, your breath shallow around the barrel. His smirk softened into something more unreadable as he removed the gun, his thumb tracing the line of your jaw once more.

“No,” he murmured, his voice quieter now. “You’re not afraid of death. You’re afraid of me.”

You clenched your fists behind your back, the ropes biting into your skin. “What do you want from me?”

He tilted his head, considering you for a moment. Then, with deliberate slowness, he lowered the revolver and crouched again, his face level with yours.

“Maybe I just like watching you squirm,” he said, though the words carried a weight that contradicted his playful tone. His hand came up to your face again, his fingers brushing a strand of hair from your forehead. “Or maybe... I just like you.”

The confession, if it could be called that, hung in the air between you, heavy and charged. He stood abruptly, spinning the revolver one last time before slipping it into the holster at his hip.

“Lucky for you,” he said, his smirk returning. But instead of stepping away, he lingered, his sharp gaze raking over you like a predator sizing up its prey.

The tension in the room thickened, the charged atmosphere pressing against your skin. You wanted to say something—maybe challenge him, maybe break the silence—but the words caught in your throat when he leaned down again, his gloved hand brushing against your cheek.

“You look like you have something to say,” he murmured, his tone low and laced with amusement.

“I was just wondering,” you began, voice steady despite the heat building between you, “if this is what you consider being generous.”

He chuckled, a dark, velvety sound that made your pulse spike. “Oh, you think I’m playing rough now?” His fingers trailed from your cheek to your jaw, the leather cool against your skin. “You don’t even know half of it.”

You swallowed hard, meeting his eyes even as your breath quickened. “Then why don’t you show me?”

The smirk on his lips faltered, replaced by something deeper, darker. For a moment, the mask of playful arrogance slipped, and you glimpsed the man beneath—the one who thrived on control, who relished in watching others unravel.

His hand moved lower, the tips of his fingers brushing against your neck. He tilted your head back, exposing your throat as his thumb pressed lightly against your pulse. “You’re bold,” he murmured, his voice a whisper against the shell of your ear. “I like that.”

His proximity was intoxicating, the scent of leather and faint cologne filling your senses. The room felt smaller, the air heavier, as he leaned in closer. His gloved hand slid to the back of your neck, his grip firm but not painful.

“I could make you beg,” he said, his words a dangerous promise. “But I think I’d enjoy hearing you defy me more.”

You met his gaze, the challenge clear in your eyes. “Maybe you should try.”

For a moment, the world held its breath. His smirk returned, slow and deliberate, as he leaned in, his lips brushing against the corner of your mouth—not quite a kiss, but enough to make your heart race. His voice dropped to a near-growl.

“You’re playing a dangerous game,” he said, his breath warm against your skin.

“Good thing I like danger,” you shot back, your voice barely above a whisper.

His laugh was low and dark, sending a shiver down your spine. “Then let’s see how far you’re willing to go.”

He hooks his finger through the hem of your pants and slides it down slowly, along with your boxers. Your cock hardens with the sudden rush of cool air. He stares at it momentarily, before kneeling down to – put it in his mouth?

summary: sirius wants to go swimming in the black lake, and you want to wait. what happens when he pushes you in without a warning. 

word count: 1.2k

warning: kissing, cheeky sirius, jily, know it all remus, peter? insinuations of drowning? and swimming

“so, dear, we’re going to the black lake at 2. if you’re late, i’ll put burping powder in your food.” sirius says to you, with a chuckle as he runs off.

you stood there confused for a second before looking at your watch, 1:50pm. you laughed, starting at a light jog outside towards the black lake where you saw your friends seated around a tree.

james slouched on the grass, with his muscular arm around the stubborn red-head girl his gaze trained at her lovingly, remus leant against the tree and scarred nose in a book as he spared a glance to his friends as his hazel-eyes flicked back to his worn book, peter and mary were sat opposite to each other in the grass while in an intense game of wizards chess. peters fingers running through his brown tresses aggressively, due to his loss.

you see a tall and muscular figure in the distance, the raven haired boy ran to you and pulled your hand towards the rest of your mates. “finally, we’ve been waiting forever.” he said with a dramatic huff.

“‘m sorry, i was only given an invite on such short notice.” you giggled looking back at sirius, then looking towards your friends again; hands still interlocked with the taller boy.

he gave you a quick eye roll and sat down, pulling your body along with his. you land with a small bounce on the ground, you feel a small weight on your lap. the raven haired boy lay his head in your crossed legs and guiding your dainty fingers through his hair.

the bespectacled boy interrupted your light conversation with a fake-offence tone, “‘m offended, what makes you so special that you can touch padfoots hair, but m’not allowed to.” he said with his far hand reaching his heart and the other gripped at lily’s waist.

“i like the way your rings feel in my hair.” he says nonchalantly, answering the question you had yet to ask. he looked up in the sky and a dusty rose covered your cheeks, you looked in his line of vision trying to find his interest in the clouds above.

“you have your own mangle of red tresses to comb through, plus ‘ve got rings.” you waggle your ring-clad fingers in james direction, and remus let a chuckle pass through his lips.

“‘n what’s that got to do with anything?” he said with an eyebrow raise, knowing the behaviour you and sirius share with each other. along with mutual

confessions to the lycanthrope from you and sirius, his observant behaviour was obvious and he could see the mutual love and affection towards the you and the dark haired male.

“i like the way her rings feel in m’hair, it’s nice.” he looks in his best mates direction then in the direction of the lake. an idea popped in his mind, he hopped up from his laying position in your lap and grabbed your hand for the second time that day.

“we should go swimming in the lake.” he said with delight looking at his mates with excitement. “m’getting to the good part of the book.” remus said, barely listening and paying attention to the words carved into the paper.

“m’not going anywhere before i win.” peter said focused on the game, trying to maneuver his piece to get checkmate. “but we’re in our uniforms, why couldn’t you give us a warning sirius?” lily whined and looked at james. “whatever lilypad wants.” james shrugged and kissed her temple.

sirius looked at you with 𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝙥𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙮 𝙙𝙤𝙜 𝙚𝙮𝙚𝙨, “oh please y/n, don’t make me go alone!” he whined gripping your arm, staring into your e/c irises. “how about-“ you thought for a moment, “i watch you and, maybe later.” you offered, raising your brows.

he thought for a moment, before “agreeing”.

“alright, fine. but you promise you’ll join me at one point?” he stuck out his pinky with a pouting lip. you gave him a fake-angry huff with a playful eye roll and interlocked your pinkies. after pulling away, he interlocks your ring-clad fingers and quickly brought you over to the docks of the black lake.

“y/n?” sirius said, looking at you with a slight smirk. “hmm?” you said looking into his cerulean eyes. “so you remember the pinkie promise we made?” he asked as if he didn’t offer his pinkie as an unbreakable vow two minutes prior. “i do, it was a very eventful moment.” you said in an amused tone, playing along to what he was about to say. he swung your collided hands together and said,

“the one point you promised into going in the black lake, 𝙞𝙨 𝙣𝙤𝙬.” he pushed you into the lake of water, you’re quick reflexes of a quidditch player we’re put to use as you gripped his arms with all your strength. both of you splashed and collided into the water together and swam to the surface.

“𝙎𝙄𝙍𝙄𝙐𝙎 𝙊𝙍𝙄𝙊𝙉 𝘽𝙇𝘼𝘾𝙆!” you said angrily, punching his shoulder aggressively. “m’shoes are all wet and i’m a bad swimmer! a little warning never hurt anyone.” you grunted and put your arms his neck, the close space between the both of you put a shit-eating grin on the dark haired boy face.

“but i wanted to swim with you, and i’ve got an nice view.” he said, an eyebrow raise and smirk on his face as his eyes directed to your chest. you gasped, slapping his chest and shoved his face away, “mind your eyes black!”

“‘m sorry-“ you cut him off quickly. “you’re definitely not.” you saw right through the boy and smirked. “true. but i wanted you alone, so i wanted to... show you something.” you didn’t catch on to his insinuation and played a joke to him instead. “ahh, it must be the giant squid roaming around waiting to pull you under.” you giggled and looked into his eyes.

“no, no. i want to do something but if you tell me to stop.” he said genuinely. you were confused by his change in demeanour, your heart beat sped up and you nodded looking at him. your arms came on contact with his shoulders again, looking at him with a confused brow.

“okay, so show me.”

he took this as a sign to keep going, he placed his hand on the apple of your cheek. the same colour of rose coloured your cheek again. if you thought this was his way of showing his reciprocated feelings, you were nervous for his next moves. he leaned closer until your plump lips were millimetres away from each-others.

you took initiative and connected your lips to his wet, and slightly chapped lips. he tasted your cherry chapstick, marking it as his new favourite flavour of yours. your fingers made their way into his his above the shoulder tresses, carding his strands between your fingers. his calloused hands made their way to your waist, feeling the damp material of your uniform on his hands.

he went to deepen the kiss, running his tongue across the bottom of your lip. the cheers and whistles in the distance made you pull back, with a flushed complexion. you saw your friends clapping, whistling and smirking in the distance. the smirk on remus’ face was prominent, you grinned at him before turning to the raven haired boy, his tresses wet and dishevelled from your fingers and the water.

“i guess swimming with me isn’t so bad after all.”
