we love being in fandoms and its a very fun experience even just to observe them. we've never been active in them b4, mainly due to our social anxiety. but now its a little bit more than that.

pebs is afraid to interact w rain world content bcuz hes afraid they might take offense to a fictive reblogging their content, even if its on our singletsona main (where we're open about ficto + selfship + kin stuff. which can put some ppl off lol). nerevar doesnt want to interact w any content about him because he just doesnt like the vast majority of interpretations w him. no clue about hollows personal feelings on source but they seem to avoid it like the plague (which is perfectly understandable).

i (spyte) am very drawn towards fandom spaces. im on ao3 all the time, i browse tumblr and twitter for fanworks all the time, i watch every youtube animatic i find, i even check tiktok sometimes when im really desperate.

New Mortal Kombat Oc, specifically a villain oc, facts while I try to think make a design for them I like:

He’s name is Spyte(formerly known as Komodo) goes by any pronouns, sometimes is just referred to by their name.

It was one of Shang Tsung’s first experiments when Shang Tsung first began to work under Shao Kahn, made to be a spy for Shao Kahn to keep track of Shao Kahn’s subjects/Allie’s even enemies to always be one step ahead of anything goes wrong.

However Spyte was not extactly a successful experiment, she wasn’t cloned like Mileena was, he was developed from two different species DNA, but developed into something entirely different as a result, more of a monstrous combination between two species.

Spyte was made from the DNA of a chaosrealmer and a saurian, made to be a shapeshifter that could turn into other species or at least impersonate others to gain information and take out targets easier.

However Spyte was a failed experiment, he was a not only a flawed shapeshifter but also completely unpredictable when it came to listening to others.

He could not shapeshift completely, they could only mimic others voices and mimic characteristics of other species for a limited amount of time, such as the four arms of a Shokan but not the size and strength of one. He was far weaker than Shang Tsung wanted and paired with her unpredictable nature, their weren’t much use.

Spyte isn’t sure why but Shang Tsung did spare them and didn’t scrap his creation entirely, Spyte wasn’t a perfect experiment but Shang Tsung still got attached to them, this was basically his kid

Spyte acted as one of Shao Kahn’s many assassins, despite their lack of shapeshifting they were still incredibly brutal, he wasn’t liked by Shao Kahn’s court but they saw the use in him

He over Spyte was eventually thrown aside after her rebellious and unpredictable nature made them a nuisance to Shao Kahn, where Spyte defied his orders to many times. Leading to him being executed despite Shang Tsung trying to plead his case(again Spyte does not why his creator was defending him, he was a flawed creation afterall)

Spyte now walks among other demons in the Netherrealm for over 8,000 years, finding power and respect in the Netherrealm then she ever did in Outworld, acting as a deal making Wraith for mortal souls that desperately want something such as revenge or their own power, making deals with a demon trickster like Spyte in exchange for their souls.

No one knows what they are planning but it isn’t good.

Spyte while being half chaosrealmer would be able to use blood magic natural, they would never use it compared to necromancy or soul magic as in comparison it’s lackluster.

A few facts/lore about them i had, could change might not who knows

Spyte is well over 10,000 years old and over 6'2.

It was one of Shang Tsung's first experiments made to be a spy for Shao Kahn's court, to keep both enemies and allys in line.

They are a flawed creation between a Chaosrealmer and Saurian's DNA, not a clone like Mileena but a whole new being from the DNA, like a warped fusion of the two.

Has flawed shapeshifting that acts more like brief mimicry of different species, like four arms or kytinn wings.

Casted into the Netherrealm after their defiance of Shao Kahn got them killed despite Shang Tsung insisting on keeping them alive.

Reborn as a Wraith in the Netherrealm, living there for 8,000 years.

A trickster that makes mortals make deals with them at the cost of a soul or to do a task for her

Has messed with past Mortal Kombat tournaments because it made Shao Kahn 's side look incompetent, even as far as making bargains with past fighters to give them an edge.

Made deals with several mk fighters, the biggest ones being Kano and Rain, who complete their end of the deals but ask for a lot in the process.
