Prowling Phantoms - Spritten, Predageist and Phanther!

Spritten are playful and energetic 'Mons, and can be a handful for new trainers. They used to be hunted extensively, being prized as rare pets.

A dark force revived a poor Spritten caught in a trap, and now Predageist seeks out those that would do harm to others relentlessly.

All that is left of Phanther's mortal self is its pelt, which it carries with it. Despite its ruthless battle style, it is a loyal to its trainer and loves to sleep in moonbeams.

These 'Mons tend to be swift attackers. These Mons know moves such as Night Slash, Shadow Sneak, Scary Face, and a signature move called Petrichor. Petrichor will deal damage and trap 'Mons in battle for five turns, while dealing 1/8th damage each turn.

This is a 5-year old design that is near and dear to my heart! Lifted from a failed project, no less. Based off of the hunting of jungle cats for their fur and whatnot.

Probably meaningless but interesting color stuff: 5/12 trolls have their blood and Aspect the same color (Aradia, Karkat, Terezi, Equius, and Gamzee). Then Tavros and Vriska have Aspects of each other's blood color, same with Nepeta and Feferi, and both those pairs get sprited (spritten? sprought?). Sollux's blood is the color of Eridan's Aspect but that doesn't go the other way like the other pairs. Really it's only Kanaya's black and white Space that doesn't fit any pattern.

You’re missing a few things! Sollux’s blood is similar to the color of the gold motif added onto Hope, but Hope as an aspect is vastly more associated with White! Similarly, while the Space Outfit is black and white, green is usually given to Space-related things, which ties with Kanaya’s jade.

As far as I can recall though, Hussie mentioned trying to not tie the designs of any of the God Tiers to like, the characters, except for Rage, because, Clown.

2021 edit: this post is more popular so fixing the sprites! Got back into the swing of spriting again with these! I’ve had these ‘mons designed for a few years and they’re my fave out of anything I’ve made.
