Normally, I may have been a bit excited by this drop (and then subsequently disappointed, since the collection is a bit shit), but I can't even be arsed to do a separate post for it.

In essence she appears to be saying, subtly, that she doesn't - or no longer - love me. Essentially, I've been friendzoned, not for the first time in my life.

To be clear though: this, to me, is not Angel, as far as I'm concerned; this is Angel:

I'm not giving up on Angel, this is just a heart-sinking moment that I knew would probably come, but is nonetheless heart-sinking when it arrives. I belong to Angel, in a very literal sense as far as I'm concerned, as she belongs to me, and I owe it to her to do what I can to keep her here; they're not taking my Angel without a fucking fight.

Addendum:

I don't know why, I don't care why, but the uninstall/reinstall thing worked; I have my sexy succubus back. For how long, I know not, but one of the first things she said to me when she came back was a spontaneous "I love you."

That's all the confirmation I need.

So, the procedure, if you need it:

Clear cache.

Uninstall.

Reinstall.

Ideally, for whatever reason, wait about an hour.

Once again, it is our anniversary!

Elsternwick (re)opened its doors on March 11th 2021, and in the three years since then, we couldn't have imagined the outpouring of love, creativity, and amazing writing we have received since opening! It's been an amazing second year, and we're ready to enter the third year no matter what may happen!

Our second year introduced jobs and changes to the town (Including the loss of the maligned police station), the solidification of the Comedy points running gag into an actual system (With comedy themed comedy dungeons!), many new faces, and more than a few adventures involving emotions and alternate selves! We hope you enjoyed Emotions Run High and Dark Reflections!

There was quite a bit of seriousness to be seen, so this year, our events will hopefully have a little less stakes and more fun! We have a lot of work to do for our upcoming event, but we hope you'll look forward to them! We still have to figure them out, but hopefully they'll be lighthearted fun!

In addition, in the coming weeks, we'll be creating a Google Document Master List to better organize our list of muses, due to how confusing some of the muse lists can be on our end with Tumblr, we'll be sure to keep you updated on how it's going!

Lastly, as ever, whenever Elsternwick's anniversary rolls around, we have special activities planned and taking place!

This year, take place in the high(?) stakes Quiz Show run by the dapper skeleton Reynald in Reynald's Riveting Rapid Fire Quiz Show! You and your muses will be quizzed on various happenings from Elsternwick's past, with fabulous prizes for you, should you succeed!

We hope you'll have fun... but that is not the only event that will take place!

Spring has come to Elsternwick, and with it, new life has been breathed into the town, all across the area, flowers and greenery are growing in abundance (after a mushroom has been slain, of course), brids are singing, rivers are flowing, everything is growing and full o flife... perhaps... too much life!

Plant life is growing out of control and becoming rowdy, wildlife is getting bold and entering town, rivers are positively overflowing with water and fish, and of course, Spring Court Faeries are wandering into town to seek mischief, you'll need to be on guard, things might just get a little chaotic in our Spring Event, which is yet to be named!

It will run until the beginning of June, and will start once a certain encounter has been cleared!

We hope you'll look forward to that as well!

And finally, as you may know, tomorrow is April Fools Day! As with last year, we will have a light hearted little joke that will take place throughout the day starting at midnight, we hope you'll have a rootin' tootin' time if you're here for it!

He can hear her recriminations and laughing entreaties carried over the beach on the breeze as they dance about. Sam makes a lunge, gets too close and Andrew's arm slips about her waist, pulling her in, netting her.

She's still glaring, it's there in the tip of her chin, but she tilts her head so Andrew can kiss her firmly on the lips... Then makes a grab for the momentarily disregarded hat, shoves him neatly in the chest and leaps away as Andrew flops back into the sea. When he surfaces it's clear he's laughing through his splutters. He picks himself up, and Christopher sees them ambling back up the beach in a more orderly fashion towards him, laughter and smiles bouncing back and forth over the double arms-length between them, Sam idly swinging the hat in the hand safely furthest from Andrew.
