Currently thinking about Artemis's will in the code at the bottom of TLG and how it really kinda shows how strained his relationship with his dad still is. Everyone else gets something they're interested in or that Arty thinks they'd like (sound system for Juliet, frozen chicken for Mulch, ethical investments for his mother, etc) and yet for his father he leaves only bearer bonds, despite Artemis I trying to move away from a money-focused enterprise and lifestyle as of TEC. Not to mention it's Butler who would know how to disengage all the booby traps protecting said bearer bonds, further highlighting the difference in trust & familiarity Artemis has with everyone but his father.

Shy Guys prove Super Mario Bros 2 USA is not just a dream

So in Mario Superstar Baseball in the Exhibition Records you can find information about the Shy Guys you play as in this game. It is revealed these Shy Guys used to work for King Wart but now simply friendly rivals of Mario. This alongside another tidbit of information I'm going to bring up in another post, alongside my previous post on SMB2USA all prove the events of that game did canonically happen and wasn't just a dream.

It’s a bit dishonest to claim the ‘ban’ is discriminatory; the guidelines do not ban transgender women from all sporting events, as it’s been reported on in some countries, but only from sporting events in the female category. Transgender women are not female, so why should they be permitted to compete in the female category?

I think one of the major problems around the ‘debate’ is the infantilisation of female athletes. We’re not seen as talented or capable as our male athletic counterparts, so our athletes and achieved can be framed as being about ‘inclusion’ and ‘fun’ and ‘artistic’ (rather than ‘competitive’ or ‘serious’ or ‘thrilling’).

I think one of the other major problems around the ‘debate’ is the willingness of well-minded people to ignore how sex differences practically play out in patriarchy (or, in other words, people are just too ‘sex-blind’). Of course female and male athletes have different sporting capacities - our sports aren’t ‘gender-neutral’/’body-neutral’ - they’re designed to show-case male bodies!

I felt like Jabiim was a bit more well known in the fandom (tho I guess maybe it's just a favorite of my little corner of fandom and the rest of y'all have never actually heard of it?) so it felt like low hanging fruit to mention lmao. But yeah same, when I think of Legends being more fucked up, Jabiim is at the forefront.
