Horrortober Day 31 - Sick

Hey there

I'm back to wish you all a very spooky Halloween^^

I'm doing better again so I hope I can write the oneshots for all the days I've missed in the next few days.

Horrortober Challenge by @yandere-sins and @pastelbirb

Today you get a Aizawa x Reader Oneshot

The picture prompt was to draw one of your own phobias and I wanted to implement that in my writing for today, so this is basically about Aizawa comforting the reader after they had a bad panic attack

➤ Day 31: Sick “I can make you feel better.” | Draw a phobia of yours for the last day! (Eg. spiders, heights, clowns, etc.)

Breath in. Breath out. Just keep on breathing.

That wasn’t as easy as it sounds.

Today was supposed to be a day out with friends. You liked being with them, of course, but most times you preferred staying indoors. There were so many people outside …

All your friends knew of your phobia and how to handle it but you didn’t want to be a burden. Today though they had persuaded you to come with them - not to a Halloween party but just out to look at the decorations and the costumes. It was really nice at first and you actually felt relaxed and safe with them … until you got separated from them.

Only then you realised how many people were actually around you.

Your breathing got fast and erratic and you clutched the front of your shirt to keep your hands occupied. In the beginning you were still scanning your surroundings for your friends but your vision soon got blurry and unfocused.

The last coherent thought you had was to get out. Just get away from all the people. So you ran.

You had no specific place in mind, actually, you didn’t even think about the direction you sprinted in. The only aim you had was to get away, only stopping when you had reached an empty space. No people. No possible danger. No need to panic.

Yet you still panicked. It was hard to calm your breathing by yourself and your hands were so cramped into fists by now that you just couldn’t get them to open again. Your legs had long given way beneath you. If you had hurt yourself by collapsing you couldn’t say.

“Are you okay?” Upon hearing a voice nearby you curled yourself tighter into a ball. If this was a bad dream you couldn’t wait to wake up.

“It’s alright. Calm down.” His voice was quiet, soothing and he gently moved your face so that you had to look at him. Having someone to directly look at helped your eyes to focus again.

Only slowly your foggy brain understood that he tried to make you breathe with him. Just in and out. Slowly. Calmly.

Once your breathing was more or less steady again he reached for your hands.

“You’re doing great. Just keep on breathing.” You didn’t know him but he gave you a feeling of safety that helped you to relax. Still, it took quite some time to get your cramped hands to open again.

“There you go. Are you feeling better now?” You just nodded, exhausted, feeling as if you had just finished running a marathon.

“Maybe I should bring you to a hospital.” Opening your eyes wide you clutched his sleeve and he seemed to understand immediately. “No hospital then … Maybe …”

Carefully he felt your pockets until he found what he was looking for, your wallet, or rather, your ID.

“Hm, I guess it’s best if I just bring you home. It’s not far away.” Carefully he picked you up and as he noticed that you were still shaking he smiled at you reassuringly.

“I’m Shota Aizawa. There’s no need to worry now. I’ll keep you safe.”

Today is Halloween, so here's Terro as a vampire, something Metal Head Oxide *Fun fact; this skin for Nitros Oxide was released in the Spooky Grand Prix in Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled for Halloween* loves, meanwhile Duskelle is dressed as a witch, and thus caught the attention of Yoru *Dressed as Shota Aizawa AKA Eraserhead from My Hero Academia*, thus I have a ship between Duskelle and Yoru.

Why Duskelle and Terro cousins? It will be revealed once I get Sonic Frontiers for Nintendo Switch and complete the game before I would make a Skylanders midquel to it.
