The B Side Tapes: An SPN Mini Bang (BSMB) is a bang focused on creations inspired by the Rock music genre and all of its sub genres. In this challenge, Authors will be paired up with Artists via a claims process to create some music-inspired masterpieces. 

Authors are expected to write a 3,000+ word fan-fiction inspired by a Rock song. Artists will then create one work of original artwork and one banner inspired by the fic they are paired up with.

Ok, so first, the art is adorable! Dmitri did a wonderful job, and baby Dean was so cute!!!

Second, this was one of those fics that I couldn’t wait to share because of some of the things I experimented with. So, one of the things I love about Fall Out Boy songs is how kind of dream-like they all strike me as being. Not as in just hazy and far off, but also the slightly disjointed nature of them. So, in addition to weaving in lyrics to the dialogue itself (“what would you trade the pain for?” became arc words of a sort) I wanted the story itself to have that same dreamlike quality.
