AU where Jack didn’t fuck off and abandon his family at the end of everything, and instead brought back Amara and gave her the power to be God, and stayed a hunter.

Amara pulls Castiel out of the Empty, and at special request of the Queen of Hell, a very confused Crowley is plonked back onto earth too. Sam marries Eleanor and has Dean Jr, and because Castiel is still around, Dean doesn’t die to a stupid metal rod in an old barn because his (fully reinstated) angel heals him. Crowley goes back to hell and finally gets to spent time with a mother that actually loves him. Amara, being god, figures out a way to let Dean and Sam come and go from heaven without dying, so they get to see Bobby, Charlie, Mary and John whenever they want. Dean and Sam finally form a relationship with Adam, and he moves into the bunker with them. Adam is surprisingly good at hunting. Kevin is finally freed from the Veil and actually goes to heaven. Claire officially starts dating Kaia, and Jody actually legally adopts the girls. Cas raises bees in his spare time when he’s not helping the boys on a hunt, and at some point he definitely adopts a cat for the bunker.

It’s called Clarence.

Zach almost LOSES Adam with this line. Why?

ZACHARIAH: So you know you can’t trust them, right? You know Sam and Dean Winchester are psychotically, irrationally, erotically codependent on each other, right? ADAM (looks suddenly steely, staring through Zachariah): I don’t know. They said a few things about you. ZACHARIAH (becomes visibly angry): Really?

Zach has misread Adam's sense of class. That nice home that Adam and his mom have together came at a huge sacrifice: their time together.

Adam is, at his core, the son of a single mom. His whole childhood is colored by it, and he's well-acquainted with the inevitably rude/incestuous "mama's boy" taunts it comes with.

This was telegraphed and set up earlier in the episode:

ADAM: You see, it was me and it was my mom. That's it. She worked the graveyard shift at the hospital. I cooked my own dinners. I put myself to bed.

Yeah, Adam "read" Zachariah's taunt for the filth it was.

Okay so I saw some posts about Dean being The Cool Dad for Jack which is *chef’s kiss*

But it also made me think about a scenario in which Chuck is defeated, Amara takes over, Cas gets returned to Dean, Jack goes back to the bunker with them, and they find Adam in the bunker.

Adam has no idea what has happened. He just knows that Michael time traveled him to this moment and place and then disappeared out of his head.

I’m imagining him watching Dean and Sam with Jack and being like “huh. so we have another half brother?” and they explain who Jack is and he’s like “you like Satan’s child more than me??? John Winchester is my dad too!!”

And Cas, who has been learning slang and waiting for this moment goes “that’s not the flex you think it is”

Claire teaches Cas slang periodically and this is the first time he’s been able to use something she taught him. He’s very proud of himself okay

i think a lot of people underestimate the value Adam had to the story and see him as a throw away character and not a “true Winchester” when he had so much potential if the writers didn’t forget about him for a decade

throwback to 2013 when i was deeply entrenched in my (first) supernatural phase and decided adam was my favorite character only to have him ripped away from me and forgotten about, so i made this contact entry in my first ever ipod and just never deleted it. this has been on my apple ID for 10 years now.
