Remember, sprints are not about producing perfect prose, they are about just getting words down on the page, no matter how ugly or messy. You can always edit later! So join us in creating a lot of messy words!

Don't forget to send us your nominations for Angel Fish Awards! We're over halfway through the month, so you've only got another couple of weeks to be eligible for prizes in June's raffle. We accept nominations ALL THE TIME, but the deadline for entry in each month's raffle is the end of the month. We already saw how Dean's interactions with Gunner parallel Sam's with Rio, as well as his own with Suzie and Claire/Kaia's scene.

If we were on the fence about Dean's feelings for Gunner (...how?!), there's the fact that his wrestler costume is very obviously cowboy-related.

We could say that Dean is in full fanboy mode before the fighting starts, if we wanted to 'let him off easy' as it were

he's the most excited person in that place by an embarrassingly large margin, but we'll give him that. he's a fan. okay.

but this?

...yeaaaaah. he's a fan. A fan of Gunner same as he's a fan of Suzy aka Carmelita of Casa Erotica fame.

[I also posted, only half-joking, about John's taste in wrestlers being weirdly close to his taste in women, and I gotta add that we have to keep in mind that this was like 20 years ago so this wrestler was probably more twink-ish then. Food for thought]

Have I mentioned how much I love s11? Like before s14 aired, this was without question my favorite season of the entire series.

And after s14? I only love s11 more.

I watched 11.15 and 11.16 just now, and short of writing very long pieces about both episodes, I’ll just kinda use this space to point and flail in the general direction of s15.

(and now that I’m watching 11.17, I’m reminded how this episode feels like it was intended to come AFTER 11.18, and how to me it still feels like that’s where it should be, but how doing that it just... makes s11 kinda ott destiel-y... i mean, even more than it actually looked on the surface...)

(okay I confess there’s no real point to this, but I haven’t had time to type up proper rewatch notes in a while and I’m starting to feel guilty about that... I really need my real life to Stop That immediately, you know? But unfortunately I’m not seeing a reprieve anywhere on the horizon in that respect. >.>)
