After looking it up, the actors name is Chad Everett, and he died in 2012 “Is he supposed to look like Clint Eastwood?” “crunchy” “this guy is doing a good Dean Winchester with all the faces and stuff like how Jensen does” “That door has a lot of ding-a-lingin’ going on” “itchy crotch or something?” “that’s funny as fuck since he clapped at Sam” “This guy does a really good Dean” “maybe after the Winchesters, they could do a golden girls with the main 3. Just walked out on my grandma and my dad after dinner, they asked if I was gonna go back to watching Spn and I said "Yep. What can I say, I got goals in life." New highest and lowest point of my life. (The goal I was referring to is to watch Season 1-5 in a week; I'm at 05x07 and the week ends tomorrow)

currently watching 05x07 of spn (the one with the poker chips that equal life years) and watching it again made me realize how absolutely fake the suspense is in season 5 (the whole show but season 5 especially). Like Chuck needs them to stay alive for the story line, and even if he wasn’t watching, angels and demons are watching dean and sam respectively. If one of them dies, they will just immediately resurrect them. Like I know that’s implied later in the show with the heaven episode and shit, but like... dean being old? they would have made him young eventually cuz they needed him for a vessel. This realization has made the show much less suspenseful but it’s much more entertaining this way so whatever
