was not 100% surprised with the watcher announcement but the people in the yb comments r going craaaazy. obviously splitting content across multiple streaming sites sucks overall and not everyone can afford the monthly price, but as a dropout subscriber im kind of like.....why are you guys acting like this is the first time this has ever happened on the internet....?

#also ryan and shane fans being truly horrible about steven lim in the comments my god #like SOOO many youtubers have talked about how horrible youtube is for making content that they actually want to make #the monetisation and need for virality is a huge detriment to the creative process....its why theres that whole cadre of youtubers who are #on nebula........#it IS a leap to make ur own streaming service and it does mean ppl subscribed to things like nebula dropout watcher etc are going to be #split again by a new streaming service. obviously free is better than paywalled. but i kind of cant believe how ppl are reacting #ill delete this later bc for the record im not actually a massive watcher uh watcher.
