#my art#original art#oc#splingus from my brains#sy chapman#fool's gold#no this isn't a project or anything but the universe does have a name now#furry#weasel#yes i said stoat or marten in the poll i kind of just meant mustelid in general and ended up settling on long tailed weasel#i looked at so many pictures of weasels for this they are so goddamn cute#i couldn't give him his shitty ponytail bc i don't like giving animal characters full heads of hair#but i did keep his mustache and beard#i had a hell of a time figuring out how to do those sunglasses eventually i gave up and decided furry glasses don't have temples at all

My problem is I can never just make An OC. First of all they almost always come in pairs or trios. And I can never say this is Splingus from my brains and be done with it. Splingus has to have an arc. He’s gotta have stuff going on. And suddenly Splingus has got this whole story with a title and chapters and you’re never gonna see any of it.
