──THE HARVEST HAS BEGUN!   did you hear? the high council invited LENA WALKER a NEWCOMER OF BIELEFELD representing the SHADOWGRACED lineage. they might resemble AJA NAOMI KING. they’re known for being a BLOOD KISSED within their community, while noted as + CLEVER all the while being - VULNERABLE. according to the council it’s noted that SHE appear to be 30 years old and look about 30. they’re EXCITED to be in bielefeld.  they intend to work as a LIBRARIAN in the town until the harvest ends.

Lena has always been a naturally curious creature. Her mother was a librarian who loved to travel with her equally adventurous father but after he died, her mother became very closed off and afraid of the outside world, passing on that fear to her daughter.

 Lena became a rare books librarian because the only adventures she truly needed in life to satisfy that curiosity could be found in books. The older the book the better,and she got to meet rather interesting characters every time someone came into the rare bookstore she worked in since high school. 

She discovered her ability about six months ago when a vampire broke into the store while she had been working late. When they tore apart the store and attacked her, Lena bonded to them by complete accident,not knowing how or why that happened. She’s been running from that vampire ever since.

Lena sees the harvest and bielefield as a chance to start over, to find out what it means to be shadow graced,and maybe find someone she can bond with,just not but accident this time. 

Lena is very sweet,asks far too many questions, and has a rare gift for knowing the perfect book for everyone she meets. She identifies as bisexual, loves dogs, and  just a good egg. someone protect this soft child

born in south korea but was quickly adopted out to parents based in london.  (  yes, he has an accent.  )  his parents are the yorkes who are … still in london!! they’re a pretty progressive and modern thinking couple who both bestowed that line of thinking on theo.  they really supported their son when he was younger with all that he wanted to do.  even though he was adopted and knew it from a young age, he never really felt like his parents weren’t .. his parents? he was with them since he was a baby after all.

they’re a mixed race family, which got some looks from others that they didn’t pay any mind to.  mom is black, dad is white.  they’re a family, colour of skin does not matter in this house.

theo doesn’t have any other siblings, adopted or otherwise so he was the pampered only child.  his parents, as stated, were always supportive of theo’s pursuits and that included music.  he always wanted to perform in front of others, but hasn’t had a stroke of luck in that department yet.  he likes to travel and do small gigs though, which is how he found himself in bielefield for the time being.  while he’s trying to look for places to perform, he’s also working as a dj at the local nightclub just for some extra cash.

as theo was adopted, he has no idea about his shadow graced lineage.  whenever he was around a supernatural being before and heard thoughts that weren’t his own, he brushed them off as headaches or possibly dehydration .. something, anything to explain away the weird things that would happen around him.  

this of course doesn’t explain the capability of precognition, but his adoptive parents always thought he was just .. gifted.  they know nothing of the supernatural aside from the things that theo went through, so while they understand and support him, they didn’t know how to help him with this in particular.

since moving to bielefield recently for work, his power has exponentially started to affect him and he’s not really sure why.  but it’s definitely because of all the supernatural creatures that are converging in one spot.

currently a relatively young heaven sent angel.  the angel of life lives hers like a phoenix, constantly living and dying and being reborn from the ashes.  she’s cursed to repeat the cycle that she watches over with a keen eye.  though she’s an ever constant presence, this incarnation of herself is still quite young in heaven’s eyes; a mere 500 years give or take a few.

faye has a lot to prove in order to live up to her role as the angel of life, considering all her past selves have done great things with the cycle itself.  as faye is still young, she’s truthfully a little naive, but generally wants the best for all life on earth whether that be human, animal, or the earth on which she walks.

as the angel of life, many expected her to take on a role as a doctor, or perhaps a veterinarian but she chose to become an advice columnist instead.  she figures that guiding others through their path of life without taking them on as a charge is still part of her duties as an angel, and there are a lot of people lost on their road.  she borders on thinking of potentially becoming a psychologist or psychiatrist, but prefers instead helping people one on one through her advice column for now.

if she happens to take on a charge which is .. quite frankly, a little rare considering she devotes almost all of her time to them, it’s usually from birth as she guides them through the life cycle until their death.

has a tendency towards melancholy.  faye is rather empathetic, and her heart is too big for her bones  -  it leads her to feel the sadness the world feels because she sees it all with the wide eyed naivety that only the young can have.

a little torn about living on earth for the time being.  she misses heaven, misses the warmth of being in the clouds and close to the sun  -  misses the way she could always wear her wings with pride,  it definitely feeds into her melancholy, however  -  there are parts of her that really do enjoy being bound to earth for a time.  she likes being close to the people of earth and finds it easier to learn about them in this way.  now that she’s here, she’s trying to live like them.

She is nature-gifted, but she toys the line of regulation because her calling as a healer matters more to her than the limitations put upon magic.

Temanuarii “Manny” Lang is well over 600 years old, but looks to be in his fifties. He is a member of the High Council and resides in his own spacious home, which is large enough to accomodate dozens of his over 100 children (invitation for associated muses). His closest relationship is his youngest child who is 20 years old, and his eldest who is 580 years old. He is a true lover, none of his many wives and partners have parted from him on bad terms. He is an Alpha werewolf and takes this role seriously, his advice is always genuine, even when he can only recommend seeking further information elsewhere. He can be found around the werewolf mansion, the Tresor Nightclub, and the Madam Club.

hello! i’m dani & your local from down under (literally down under since i come from australia so hence i have the awful timezone and am always confused about the time it will be for everyone else lol i’m sorry iN ADVANCE. this is my child sofia habsburg who is a divine blooded (vampire/siren) at the age of 1659 years and possesses both aerokinesis and telekinesis. below is a brief summary of who she is:

she has a past that she does not talk about — basically she’s from an old money family who was super rich and was kidnapped from her family from her maker genevieve who was fascinated at her supernatural qualities, realising there was more to her than met the eye. as she found out she was a siren, she turned sofia and sofia was then presumed dead to her family. meanwhile she began to also participate in the vampire wars against humans (the main reason why she was turned) & ultimately genevieve and her coven were murdered by the knights of the apocalypse

this turned her into a bloodthirsty vengeance seeker (basically villages dead), vowing that one day humanity would pay for its crimes. over time her rage has quelled but she knows that one day she will make them all pay — but she’s realised that humans are lowkey dangerous and its why she masquerades as a doctor so that she can watch them and their biomedical engineering of weaponry.

plotting ideas! basically i’d love anything and everything. for her to finally make some connections with real life tethers, because for so long she’s distanced herself from anyone because she doesn’t want to be put in the position where she has to mourn for so many of her close friends again. this includes close friends who could perhaps understand her sorrow but also people she distrusts because she likens them to the horsemen. and ofc someone who can see past her troubles to see that she might be a badass bitch but understands that and won’t go away even when she tells them to <3. *sucker for all the anGST plots btw yes*

up until now she’s had a mundane and basic life — but that’s suited her, she thought it was rather idyllic. when she turned eighteen she received her witch inheritance which meant she realised she had powers and her parents finally explained just who she was and what she was; basically imagine things setting on fire when she was angry, mini earthquakes when she was anxious and confused, basically major confusion!!

she’s much better at controlling her powers now but sometimes they get out of control and it can cause her to be quite anxious. she also gets dreams at night of vampires (ever curious about them but not quite knowing the truth). she thinks that they are connected to her, but she’s about to learn just how exactly they are all connected!!!

plotting ideas! basically i’d love anything and everything. maybe someone to help her with her powers because she does fear them at times because she’s still quite new at everything? she basically loves everyone so lots of friends? however there are also people who could be courting her to their side because she is a pretty useful weapon (powerful witch with precognition?!?!) and she not realising it and i can imagine her getting drawn to the darkness... so GIVE ME ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING BECAUSE I LOVE ANGST AND PAIN AND well my bby is ready for this.

FIRST IMPRESSION ON PEOPLE: people tend to think kitty is very child-like with a bubbly and sweet but almost complex ditzy way. if that makes sense?? lmao. because she’s usually really stoned when first meeting people, they often write her off as a bimbo. however, she’s very philosophical, has assets and layers to her personality that no one would have guessed, and she’s much more wise than your average person. she beats any label anyone wants to place on her with charisma because she has so many facades and contradictions within her that no one can get a clear read, including herself.

DESCRIBE THEIR VOICE: kitty kat has a very groggily voice that’s a bit scratchy and sultry. however, depending on her mood, she can either be very comical and animated in her voice or she can be very deadpan and quizzical.

TATTOOS: tons. not to the point where she’s covered in them, but she has a few which are neatly hidden. most notably, she has a hand holding a blood-dripping knife on the meaty bit between her index and thumb in black and red ink on her right hand, a fairy behind her left ear in faded pink and green (her first tattoo), a intricate and quite large red and black rose on her thigh, and a white mandala on her upper back right below her neck and shoulders.

PIERCINGS: she has her ears pierced nine different ways to sunday on each ear, lmao. she also has a septum piercing.

kitty, otherwise born katherine valtersen, was born one of two daughters in oslo, norway. she was the youngest, her sister being four years older. however, four months later, the family moved to the united states, specifically miami for an occupational change for evan, the father. unfortunately, when kitty was young, she suffered from severe codependency issues after her father abandoned her sister, herself, and their mother due to an affair on his part.

but she didn’t entirely own it. instead, she played the art of a con. first starting out as card tricks, moving on to “magic”, and finally with the request of her step-father wanting her to travel to eureka springs to scope out the market for his business, a quote-on-quote fortune teller. and because she wasn’t a native of eureka springs, no one knew that her story wasn’t entirely true. yes, she’d come from norway and carried norwegian blood, but she didn’t hold a divine wisdom inside her that norway gifted her with. in fact, as she preaches about her time there, she often forgets that she was only there for four months and as a newborn. but her story wrapped up a pretty neat picture and she eventually gathered the street name of destiny.

destiny didn’t last long however, seeing as she quieted down that persona and fell back into her roots. then was she known and continues to be known as kitty or kitty kat, respectively. she opened up and now manages and runs the lucky pawn shop just around the corner on the mainstreet of eureka springs.

of course the pawn shop became more known as a sketchy underground organization. but success didn’t last long and she fell heavily on her art of being a con artist, conning everyone she came in contact with, instead of those stupid enough to fall into her trap. it got her into messy situations, to say the least. the underground organization as previously mentioned was katherine’s promise to help those with criminal backgrounds achieve weaponry, helping self-proclaimed collectors acquire illegal ammunition, and the like. however, she screwed up and messed with the wrong man, who later turned out to be vampiric.

he threatened her life, and in return, she became aware that she wasn’t entirely human herself. she was able to warp the memories of others. she’d seen hints and signs of it before, but wasn’t all too aware of it until fear drove her to scrap the man’s mind down to a blank page and he crippled over, having no sense of who he was, what he was, where he was, or.. really anything. she eventually quit the underground business, focusing her attention back on her personal con of being a fortune teller and part-time manager, operator and gunsmith at the family owned business: lucky star pawn shop

now, at 22, kitty still is unfamiliar with what she is, her mother refusing to even talk about the subject.

YOUR A-TYPICAL RIDE OR DIE WITH A TWIST: ofc everyone knows what the ride or die character relationship trope is, but i kinda wanna add a twist. so not only do these two share an uncanny unconditional loyalty for each other, but they often shut each other out as not to deal with their own flaws and problems which they can often see shadowed in the other person. they go months, maybe even years without speaking, but always seem to find their way back to one another when they’ve both forgotten what the strength of their connection felt like.

A FAMILIAR: someone who, as kitty would put it, recognizes her soul and her soul recognizes them. she feels a deep, almost spiritual-like attachment to this person..

A FRIENDLY? VAMPIRE? IRONIC!: omg??? ok give me all the vampires to suck on this blood bag..... me: *says i love my character* me: *calls her a blood bag*. anyways! i’d love to see one or two characters fill this connection bc i just love the ideas and it can be either really angsty and plot heavy or really light and just something to go off of.

EXES: it doesn’t much matter their gender, seeing as kitty dealt with a lot of internalized homophobia for a while so she did often date men, but at the same time, rarely ever women.

hello all!! admin lara here again, with CAMILLE ABEL, who is a human (with no supernatural abilities.... yes), aged 27. she’s a gemini - look out. camille has a rather unconventional job: she allows vampires to pay to drink from her, and has just purchased an old hotel at which she, and others who are interested in the profession, can spend their “work time”. think of it like a brothel - but, perhaps, even seedier. she values discretion above all; so don’t ask her what her blood tastes like. (cherries.) 

- so... ‘camille abel’ is an alias. surprise!! she is incredibly secretive about her past, because of some not so upstanding things that have happened, and that she’s done, so when she moved to eureka springs years ago she did so with a new name, and a whole new identity. her own family doesn’t even know where she is, what she’s doing, or the alias she’s using - and she’d like to keep it that way

- she’s basically the definition of the no-nonsense boss bitch; she has no time for stupidity, and no time for people trying to pry into her business - and she runs a business so that’s twofold. 

- she also has a really intense mama bear streak; it’s like a blood moon - it rarely happens - but when it happens, by god does it happen. 

- basically this is going to be the world’s shortest introduction, because she has completely fabricated a history, which is not even slightly true. she tells people that she’s an orphan from Hattiesburg, Mississippi, that she went to Ole Miss to get a degree in Business, and that she moved to Eureka Springs because she wanted to own a store. like, come on - that’s a little bit shaky, considering her current occupation, as well as the no-nonsense attitude that very much does not match the ‘sad little southern belle’ thing that she originally tried to pawn off. at this point, she doesn’t even try to act like that - she just rattles off the story for anyone who asks, as if it’s a practiced script being read off a teleprompter. 

- because her whole livelihood revolves around the health and quality of her blood, she’s incredibly into health, fitness, etc. she does indulge in quite a bit of wine, though - she’s been told that the wine helps, so who is she to argue?

- she’s very anti-slut-shaming. clearly there’s quite a bit of stigma surrounding her profession, as quite a lot of people consider it prostitution; but she sees it as something as honorable as it is lucrative. better for the blood to be willingly sourced than to be forcibly taken - and she’s been attacked before, so she knows what she is so willingly preventing.

- obviously, though, some people are going to be super against camille’s whole institution, so i would love to play with some human characters (or even supernatural characters) who really disapprove of her profession. 

- i would love, love, love for someone to try and pry into her secretive past; she has some serious skeletons in the closet, so there’s a lot there to uncover. not all of it is great. not all of it is legal. not all of it is morally good. 

- someone try and get suave ice queen to open up!! i feel like this’ll get much more complicated when soulmates are revealed, but camille, in general, is not the type to open up to people. but she does have an empathetic streak, so it’s not entirely out of the question. 

- VAMPIRES! there’s a world of possibility here. regular clients, new clients, nice clients, demanding clients, secretive clients... the world is our oyster.

She does not seek command of any packs, though other wolves are drawn to her and take her lead by instinct. Evia can’t stand abuse of power. She was part of the Werewolf Underground Fights for centuries and broke her conditioning shortly after meeting her father in the 1800′s. She has many scars, including some on her face, an a a part of her ear bitten off, her eyes are also heterochromia (exact colours are on her bio). She is semi-retired, but does work in Supernatural Protection Services, she has worked with Lily Keaton and her cohorts before.

Lily Keaton was turned into a vampire at the age of 27, she is now 80. She has an electrical affinity and was a Shadow Graced and had suspected witch lineage prior to her change. Her sire has not been in contact with her since the success of her transformation, she would have surely killed him if he’d stayed. She works for a Jazz Club back home and will work as a hostess for the Madam Club while she is in Germany. Her vampirism does not impede her ability to go out in the day (besides some light sensitivity), and she is not allergic to silver or garlic. She is very prone to hypothermia and becomes sickly if she hasn’t fed in a timely manner (she has many thralls back home, but few connections in Germany and thus is hoping to find someone to feed on before the thirst sets in).
