aauaurrrrhghh the nostalgia hurts a lot :( losing my fucking MIND still when I think about FinalFest being around the corner mmmmm

Literally so fucking ill over the Splatoon series. I love this game with all my heart and it really just Overwhelms me </3

7. fuckin. years. its been that long since I was first introduced to Splatoon and even if I've been on-and-off w/ any fixations on it- I've always loved it all the same

I've been there for Splatoon, back in the ol' days of the original up till both the Callie vs Marie Splatfest AND when the WiiU servers finally shutdown

I've been there for Splatoon 2, starting from the World Premiere (before Nintendo Online was a thing) and even getting the DLC- Unfortunate that I couldn't participate in the Chaos vs Order Splatfest (wow I love subscriptions just to play online :/ )

And now I've been here for Splatoon 3. I haven't been here for long (unless you count little over half a year as long), but I've been able to experience to much. With the story mode, an updated version of salmon run, usual turf wars/ranked battles, Big Run, Splatfests, and even the DLC

I've been there for a lot of it. So it's just. again overwhelming to see all the stops they're pulling for FinalFest. Squid Sisters, Off the Hook, AND Deep Cut... They're all great, and I'm excited for their final performance.

But I do also want to mention that with the end slowly approaching, that I'm a little worried on what's going to happen to the series going forward

More-so in the sense of like, will they somehow create another main-story game? Because with how Splatoon 3 ended, it's a little tough to say where they'll go from here. Imo I think it'd be cool if they could make spinoffs (life could be a dream if there was a separate Splatoon rhythm game that would give more specific lore to the main game's idol groups and regular bands)

Either way I just. hope the Splatoon series doesn't fall off and get forgotten about anytime soon
