A Night With Grandpa

My first encounter with a spirit. I was home in my room when my sister was away for the weekend. It was a chilly night but the heat was on and the windows were closed. My parents were in the other room sleeping when I looked straight and saw a man standing by my drawer and smiling at me. He looked very familiar and then I remembered a photo I saw with my Grandmother and Grandfather. He had passed 7 years before I was born so I never got a chance to meet him. The room felt a little chilly. I remember closing my eyes wondering if I was going crazy. when I opened them he was standing next to me. He touched my cheek and it felt so cold. I closed my eyes one more time and when I woke up he was gone. I knew for a fact people will think I am crazy when I tell them what had happened. The next day I spoke to my mom and told her what I saw. I thought she was going to think I was crazy but then I heard the most amazing thing. She told me she saw her father last night. He brushed her hair and she felt the chill too. She just smiled at me and we both were just silent.
