Elden Ring Update: I went up the Mountaintops of the Giants. It feels pretty linear as opposed to the other areas so far. There isn't really another choice to go as the given path most of the time. I fought another Tibia Mariner and a rather small Death Ride Bird and an Erdtree Avatar who could clone himself. I found Corhyn and Goldmask again, where Corhyn is about to have a mental breakdowns. I also reunited my Jellyfish spiritsummon with her sister. And then I went to Castle Sol and did around half of it, beating the two lions in the front yard and then getting chased by one of the most relentless ghost knights I have ever seen!

Damon was born with latent powers inherited from his father, a karma-based reality warper. However, these powers have not yet activated.

Damon was born very sickly, to the point that he wasn’t expected to survive into adulthood, and his quality of life up until that point would be poor. His parents had been trying cure after cure since he was born, but nothing worked. His father, Elias, desperately stole an test subject from his place of work, a facility that experimented on mutants. The thing he stole was of particular interest, as it was an unstable, viral type magma mutant. It couldn’t survive outside of containment unless it had a host. In a last ditch effort to heal his son, Elias infected Damon with the viral mutant. With its strength, Damon’s health began to improve. Not only that, but Damon also gained the magma powers the mutant originally had, as well as hosting its consciousness within his mind. With a suitable host, the virus saw its chance to take revenge on the facility that had experimented on it. It took over Damon’s mind and used his body along with its powers to wreak havoc in the facility, freeing some mutants and causing what would ultimately be the beginning of the end for the facility. Based on the damage caused and the missing virus, it is easy for the head of the facility to put two and two together, assuming someone aided the virus’ escape and provided it with a host. With so much suspicion, Elias flees, explaining the situation to his wife, Adelaide, in an attempt to keep her and Damon safe. Now in the shadows, Damon’s father is using his powers as a covert superhero. This is also what helped him take the virus in the first place and how he remains undetected to this day.

For years now Damon has been working to have better control over his powers and the other consciousness within him. He struggles with it and has had a few incidents where he has hurt others or caused property damage accidentally, but most of those were when he was young and haven’t been brought up since. He’s been lucky to go undetected (thanks to Elias watching over him secretly), but he’s learning more about controlling his powers everyday.
