     “You must think too highly of me,” she responded. Despite Raven’s comment, she couldn’t refrain from the faint smile that ghosted her lips, perhaps not too used to the flattery. The stars were beautiful tonight, and there was comfort in a universe that was so vast. “But I cannot deny.. I like the idea of it.” It would be nice to be able to look at the night sky, to find some consolation in the familiarity of it, to confirm that there was a sign that declared; indeed, this is where you belong.

@spiritalked​ gets a semi-plotted starter!

               HELLO AGAIN, YOU. You're back, and unlike every other self obsessed faux individualist that peruses the shelves you're here for a different reason; a real reason. I'm not sure what it is about the small bookstore attached to Anavrin that makes you think they'd change up their selection more than twice a month and yet, there you stand, thumbing through spines and tracing over pages as if you're . . . searching for something. You've seen these books before, there's only so much I can do on my end and it's not as if Forty's put me in charge of the ordering. This isn't Mooney's after all, with it's weathered floors and comforting scent. Page's I know like the back of my hand and isles I could guide you through like my own personal rat maze. No-- Anavrin's selection is miniscule and yet-- you continue to show up, you come back every few days with that same sense of adventure. I love that about you. The way your eyes light up when you've found something to enjoy. You're not like every other poser who claims they've read works by fitzgerald or orwell. You know what you want and over the past few weeks I haven't been able to give it to you, but I'm all yours now. 

                     "Hi there." I say, sure to keep my tone chipper and unassuming. I've noticed you, becauuse of course I have, but that doesn't mean you've seen me around. Do I blend in to you? Just another shape amongst the others? Another gaudy bookshelf in a sea of unimportant self help books and useless memoirs? "Anything I can help you find today?" I smile, catching your gaze with my own as I place down another pile of a 'wiccan ; the basics and you' against the table before us. Ridiculous isn't it? That people think they could have so much control over their lives with the help of some herbs and spices. You're more pragmatic I can tell. AND I WOULD LOVE TO KNOW HOW I COULD HELP YOU.

You've been left beaten down and by someone you really trusted and loved, so now love doesn't come easy for you. You want it to. You want to love and be loved, but you're not sure you remember how. So you need someone else to take the lead. They have to be gentle and sweet and patient. They have to watch out for you, and make sure you're doing okay, because most days you feel a little fragile, if not totally shattered. But someone will come along who will put those pieces back together again.

I don't have time for people and they shenanigans lol You try to be nice You try to be mean You try nothing Then sometimes you just don't give a fuck. It's true that we are responsible for our choices....its just sometimes you get tired of people recharging off your battery/energy without an returns/investments. It's hard sometimes to deal. The boo and I have different view points but its good to hear the other side. I just hate that we wasted all that time and goodwill towards people....without asking for da material. I do lose interest quickly lol that's not a good trait...but this attention span and listening to phrases with paper thin topics lol That's why most times I'm good with it being me and my nigga. It's kinda stressful making male friends/associates but hey things happen for a reason. I'm glad I do have the boo with me especially when we get into some hot topics lol.
