I've been stuck on ascension 16 with defect for so long that i've gotten incredibly good at dying to the act 2 bossfight. its that kind of consistency that really rewards my efforts

do you have any video suggestions on how to get better at slay the spire? i’ve played several hundred hours with tactics just based on trial and error, and while i’m not too bad at it, i’ve only beat the heart once, with the watcher (i got lucky and had relics such as the black star, preserved insect, tungsten rod, orichalcum, and bronze scales)

oh sure! i've been watching a lot (a lot lot lot...) of baalorlord's videos & stream vods, and mostly i've been Absorbing the way he plays and picks cards and specifically when to pick certain cards and when not to, but he has videos on how to kill the heart as each of the characters at the bottom of this playlist, as well as explaining events & some achievement guides. he also has videos that talk about cards and when they are or are not worth your time and in what situations they would be. also, i watched this tips video and this video about elites around when i was starting and they gave me some tips that helped me but since you're many hours in i assume you know most of em, but still good to remember!

now that i have heart kills on everyone im gonna try climb ascension again... i got to A9 on everyone this session so next session i am confident i'm getting A10 :3

i feel SO accomplished i got the sts boss fight audio glitch for the first time 😊😊😊

i feel like i unlocked A18 on everyone only by luck or by the skin of my teeth... silent only won bcos of double flex potion + artifact, ironclad & defect's decks felt very hobbled together & watcher's was decent but almost died frm a bad matchup (thank you lizard tail for saving my flurry deck against time eater 🙏). The Game Is Decidedly Difficult Again......
