Watched #SpiderManNoWayHome last night! AAAHHHH!!! 😱😱😱 Super kilig with all the fan service they served here, especially for the Filipino audience! 🇵🇭 No spoilers yet, don’t worry :) MARVEL HAS DONE IT AGAIN. Remember that iconic #AvengersAssemble sequence in Endgame where everyone in the cinema clapped and cried and cheered and felt all sorts of emotions together?? 🥺 Expect to feel that again in this Spidey movie—but not just in one scene!!! They scattered them into little gasp-worthy moments with heartwarming reunions, nostalgic references (I suggest you watch previous Spidey movies to appreciate them all btw), subtle “amazing” puns, and exciting foreshadowing/revelations, paired with those trademark Marvel punchlines we all love! ❤️ Brace yourselves for the amount of PINOY PRIDE in this film! 🇵🇭 Yes, we’ve always had beshie Ned there, but trust me, the Filipino representation here gets bigger!!! 🙌 Grabe, you have to wait for it. Thanos in Banaue Rice Terraces who?! 😂 Stay until the end for 1 mid-credit scene and 1 post-credit trailer-ish scene. And oh! There’s a “new” Marvel character making an appearance here who wasn’t in the Avengers movies 😎 Can’t share my other comments because they’d all be spoilers. So just go watch Spider-Man: No Way Home when it opens in Philippine cinemas on Saturday, January 8!!! 🕷🕷🕷 But PLEASE follow health and safety protocols! Enjoy the movie! 👍 *FYI: We were all fully vaccinated. SM North EDSA The Block’s new cinemas also had huge comfy semi-reclining chairs and we were seated one seat apart. We also wore double masks the whole time and we never took them off. Food and drinks weren’t allowed.
