This summer has been one of my most outside-y summers since about 2016! Lupus makes it hard, and slightly scary, to be in the sun ☀️😳 BUT thanks to this amazing SPF30 sun hat from my friend Michelle and my new favorite SPF50 cardigan from @coolibar I feel much safer outside! ☀️😊I still wear sunscreen of course, but knowing I have so much extra protection makes me feel like I can spend more time outside! ❤️ . I spent four hours outside today. I definitely overdid and am hurting, but I had a blast!! I mowed, and pulled weeds, I sculpted a lavender bush started by Mama Dove, I *hopefully* started to kill some poison ivy, and I cut some dead branches off some trees. #whew . SCOUT’S Behind the Business: 20 Questions with Coastal Girls Co.

The Scout Guide Palm Beach’s famous “SCOUT’s Behind the Business” interview is back!

The sister-trio behind Coastal Girls Co., Dee Schneider (left), Danyelle Jolly (right) and Ashlee Meredith (not shown) have a well-known company motto: "Come as a guest, leave as a friend", and with their bubbly personalities, it is impossible not to do just that! This adorable coastal-themed boutique has everything you need for an effortlessly fashionable Palm Beach style, and best of all, when you’re in the store it feels like you’re shopping with your best friend.

As local business owners, the sisters also love to support our local community. They regularly host ‘sip & shop’ events for clients, with 10% of the proceeds going to a different local charity each time. Not only have the Coastal Girls gained a reputation for their generosity, both loyal and new customers seem to love the pieces they choose for their boutique. From well-known brands to their own private label, Palm Beachers love stopping in for staple wardrobe items.

Next month Coastal Girls Co. will be relocating just down the street from their current location. Though they have only been in business for a little over a year, Coastal Girls Co. has taken Palm Beach by storm. The new shop, which will be located at 3727 South Dixie Highway in West Palm Beach, offers more square footage, which is great news for us as that means even more room for fabulous fashion finds.

As their business continues to grow, The Scout Guide wanted to catch up with this warm, charming and funny trio to ask them our signature ‘20 questions’. Dee took the lead, and this is what she said!

For the record, Palm Beach locals since: Living here since 2000, but Coastal Girls Co. is a beautiful year and a half old! 

A favorite indulgence: Champagne

A memorable food experience: Having lunch with my sisters in Manhattan laughing and people-watching.

The greatest surprise of your life: My daughter! 

The color you are least likely to have at home and why: Orange. Because I swear it makes me hungry!
