who is spencer? he’s an adventurous, active, good, goofball and nosy pixel. he is a spare of the meow harper legacy and twin of cressida (the founder of meow legacy). in terms of family tree, he is the son of xavier harper and billie west (by devotedsims), which makes leonardo harper his grandfather and judith ward, his grandmother 😉

he was intended to be the founder of the meow legacy, but le chat decided otherwise. he was a sensitive infant, an inquisitve toddler and a very mischievous kid... he always had a tendency for chaos. in his teen days he joined the football team and kinda became a highschool superstar, the usual highschool jock.

after highschool he decided to take a gap year and travel around the simnation. interestingly, that gap year turned into - many - gap years and he never went to university.

he craves for any kind of adventure. jungle? check. treasure hunt? check. abandoned islands? check. odd caves in the middle of the desert? check. dorment vulcanoes? check. reach the top of the world? definitely!

spencer has had his fair share of romantic adventures too… and boy! he has stories to tell!! many people think spencer is some sort of loudmouth. and let’s be honest, sometimes his stories are so fabulous one starts to discredit its truthfulness. what is true, and what it’s not, about spencer? you must have patience and get beyond his playboy façade, or not!

(I was supposed to give the household a golden chicken and the lot the ‘clothing optional’ trait for the day but this was also when I lost a day due to a corrupted save file, so I was a little frazzled and forgot. Whoops.)

The gang is settling down to a nice breakfast when Baarry White alerts us to something amiss.

Yup, guess who has two thumbs and has never made obsidian eggs before? This Watcher.

While neither Spencer nor Piper seem to notice anything, Aubrey looks perturbed - and as well she should.

Initially I think that Lilac is alone in heeding the call of Angry Bird the evil chicken, but it turns out that possession only kicks in once the pixel in question has finished their meal.

Indeed, Caden seems to enjoy it so much that he has seconds.

As this wasn’t part of the daily roll and may impact how the Sims interact with each other - and at this point I have noooo idea how much their moods may be shaped by it - I activate the social club with the ‘be friendly to each other’ mechanism active while being mean to each other is on the banned list. 

It seems to be working a trick, but then…

Just love how Aubrey continues her painting while the punching bag burns.

As predicted, everyone gets the FIRE FIRE moodlet, but Spencer has a determined look on his face that I’ve come to recognise well.

And since we established yesterday that Caden seems to enjoy stealing Spencer’s thunder, he joins in on the heroism.

The Watcher decides on the spot that anyone who autonomously puts out a fire gets cheated up one level in CHARISMA, because why the hell not?

In spite of saving us all from becoming the subject of a Talking Heads song, Caden is still under the thrall of Evil Chicken rage, so he takes a bath.

Turns out the punching bag isn’t the only thing heating up. Spencer receives his first kiss from Lilac!

Then these two head upstairs to do what we’ve come to expect from them, and so while chore montage hour has been cancelled for the day, I assign each unoccupied sim a skill building task.

Pauline (and Baarry White) are on gardening, Avery takes up yoga, Piper goes for a swim, and Aubrey continues her painting.

Caden is on Moojito duty. In spite of Moojito's look of concern, milking is a success.

I’m only including this because what the hey is this outfit (or costume - do I even want to know), Lilac? 🫣

Disappearing ceiling aside (seems to be a feature of my platform builds), Lilac is in a much better mood than earlier. So much that...

Spencer’s sit ups sufficiently impress her that she asks him if he’s willing to take things upstairs.

I think this is an excellent time to check in on everyone else.

Caden and Aubrey bond over the bar - and ta, Piper. That’s just what everyone inside wants, for you to keep the beginning shift bartender talking outside instead of serving up nectar.

Pauline discovers that she likes singing, keeps on grinding. She reaches Level 4, which makes her the contestant to spend three hours offsite on a date with Lilac.

Meanwhile the pair upstairs have concluded. Lilac’s dazed expression suggests that she is elsewhere, and positive moodlets abound. Well done, Spencer.

Perhaps because none of the pixels have Windenburg as their home world, this night out is proving to be too much for some and they start to seek out napping locales. I can’t find Caden then I realise that he is very close to where Lilac and Spencer were having a Moment.

Either the ‘no jealousy’ settings are working a treat, or Caden is an extremely open minded pixel.

Caden comes from a wealthy family - his father was a successful businessman, his mom an actress. Since early childhood he's been under his father's pressure to succeed in life and continue his legacy. He didn't have a lot of friends since he was always busy attending private school and extracurricular activities. His mom was a kind soul, that you can't tell about his dad. Being deprived of all electronic devices, piano was his only joy, he enjoyed making beautiful symphonies.
