All those fortunes were cumulated through the generations, it seems they all are great entrepreneurs with good sense of the affairs, but others say just lucky.

I feel a desire to overcome my fear of oversharing. I made my socials just to share my stories and adventures so why shouldn't I?

In my life, I have a tendency to jump from hobby to hobby. Last month, I learned how to play the flute; I'm still mediocre at it. Now, I've gotten back into crocheting. That's not what I want to share though.

For the past month, I've been thinking of a visual novel, inspired by a friend who'd been coding in RenPy. I've used RenPy before for an unfinished project, but the scrope of it kept creeping, and I was eventually overwhelmed.

For my new project, I want to avoid that scope creep, and focus on simplicity.

The title of my project is called

Phantasmagorical Love

It would centre around a woman named Rose Spectrelle as she begins to romance and acquire the abilities of different eldritch entities.

At first, it was set in the Victorian era and Rose is a blonde woman who desires power from unnatural forces.

The knife on her head was a tool, a way for the entities to possess her and give her abilities. The art style of the story was mainly weirdcore and dreamcore inspired. I also had experience drawing these silhouetted characters from Homestuck (the Ancestors), so I thought it would come in handy.

The setting was discontinued but the idea persisted.

The story is still a work-in-progress and I don't want to spoil too much. But nevertheless, I still want to share what I've done so far.

This is Rose Spectrelle. She lives in a godless land, full of monsters and creatures, where the Garden of Eden became a forest that was unkind to humans.

I now have a specific style to work with. I'm not sure what it's called but I have a very specific vision on it. I still want to keep the genre as Dark/Gothic Romantic.

I mean... the story knows that this is the best worst decision she can make in the moment and how much it hurts her. Marinette really fucking hates it herself but what can she do?

The Moth Miraculous is still unaccounted for. Nooroo would've zipped back up to her, happy to have a proper Guardian for once in a long time. Even before Lila reared her head as TimeStalker and Spectrel Looter, whoever took the Moth Miraculous without giving it to Ladybug clearly wants to play Hawk Moth 2.0.

So what would be a primo target for this new Akumatizing villain? A young man who lost his problematic father and feels responsible for not being there to save him. An explosion of emotional turmoil that'd be fashioned into something far beyond Ladybug's capability. She hadn't even restored the Miraculous back to normal yet.

The bare minimum she can do is dampen the grief for Adrien. He needs a sliver for comfort in mind that if nothing else, his father did one good thing by stealing Monarch's chance at a wish and healing Nathalie (a distorted version of the truth). If nothing else, the comfort to come won't get him akumatized.

However, this is not something Marinette will be able to do without repurcussions. Lila as Hoaxer got Nathalie to send over photos and documents of Gabriel's secrets. To say nothing of how she was there to see how Gabriel went out. That's not something she'll ignore. Odds are that she'll have it in her back pocket and work her way towards it.

Bare in mind that we've seen Chat Blanc and Ephemeral where Adrien is akumatized upon learning his father was his nemesis. Each time ended badly. Now you got that with the addition of his father dying, his inability to confront him on it and the feeling of Ladybug betraying him after Season 4 tested how their bond could break.

Marinette unknowingly gave Lila the perfect recipe for a secret weapon against Ladybug and is going to pay the piper with a MIGHTY big price. And I LOVE this! It's such a far cry from how Season 1 was nice but played it safe with an episodic formula and fairly easy to like characters.

Season 6 to 10 will be epic.

So... yes, OP. This is pretty fucked. THAT'S THE POINT! THAT IS THE GIMMI-FORESAKEN POINT! Hell, I'd say the Love Square is currently pretty healthy where each side recognizes that the lying hurts but is necessary for the greater good. Every so, there's less judgement and a weird sort of recognition of it at the end of Miraculous London.

So... yeah. Bug out!

Marinette’s lie is a huge sacrifice that causes her deep pain.

Marinette should not make decisions about Adrien’s life for him.

Marinette is inadvertently perpetuating Gabriel’s abuse.

Marinette is a good person trying to navigate a very difficult situation.

Marinette needs to come clean and try to fix her mistake. That is a sign of heroism.

Adrien has a right to know the truth, even if it’s painful.

Marinette’s lie will cause him additional trauma.

Adrien loves Marinette and will understand that she was trying to protect him.

Adrien has a right to be angry/hurt about the lie.

Adrien needs space to express negative feelings he has never been allowed to express.

Adrien has been controlled for his entire life and is now being controlled by Marinette.

Adrien’s story arc has always been about breaking free, and a satisfying conclusion to that story requires his FULL knowledge and reconciliation of all the painful truths of his life.

The love square relationship is and will be severely damaged because of Marinette’s choice, and for it to be repaired, all of these true statements need to be acknowledged and given proper weight in the narrative.

hell, to go a step further heres a dex entry i just made up;

i remember seeing a fakemon once that was like, a ghost possessing fossilized bones of different extinct species... now THATS a way of referencing the bone wars without the sad existence of g8's fossil pkmn. plus its a neat reference to the kabutops and aerodactyl skeletons, and missingno from g1. also its the only case where it makes sense for a fossil pkmn to be part rock type. cuz its literally bones.
