They had just concluded a fight against a foe that could’ve gotten wildly more out of hand and affected more of the populous at large. Thankfully, it appeared only their foes had gotten what they deserved. Shaking his head, Declan adjusted the spectacles before finally responding.

"I think you and I have very different definitions of what "disaster" means," he replied from his position on the ground. Judging from the increasing number of footfalls he could feel heading their way and the sirens he could just begin to hear in the distance, he lifted a hand in River's direction.

"Although, if you want to avoid Deputy Thornton and further disaster then I suggest we get a move on because it looks like someone called the cops."
