whoa isn't it crazy how in chapter 361 we have mirio prodding shigafo about the power of friendship resulting in our first 'emergence' of 'tenko' snapping that he so does have friends, directly referencing two friends he had as a child. and then in chapter 373 in a title specifically titled FRIENDS we get spinner, for whomst the bulk of his characterization revolves around caring very deeply for shigaraki and also being probably the only guy as indicated by chapter 373 to hang out and talk with shigaraki in a normal grounded friendly conversation about videogames outside of their respective roles of terrorist leader and terrorist gay henchman, making a last ditch effort to try and save shigaraki through kurogiri without directly following afo's instructions. and now in chapter 379 we have kurokumo "glitching" and mumbling about friends instead of following shigafo's orders. and now panels referencing all of that are being lumped together while nana's hand is also Being There in the foreground, the hand of the woman who first ambiguously 'met' her grandson while he was high as hell telling him 'don't ever forget', potentially subtly referencing his own youthful desire to be a hero, something he had once associated with reaching out to and being friends with the ostracized and friendless, specifically referencing two friends he'd made.
