I am free. Huzzah.

I really came down to the wire at the end and there’s a passage I couldn’t include because I ran out of time but it’s done at least.

My professor says he’s never worried about my papers (I’ve written so many for his classes) but I always feel like the gods have struck me down for my hubris and that my papers could always be better. It ended up being like 5-6 pages and there was one source I had trouble citing but alas.

My paper was on the Lovecraftian elements of Kurosawa Kiyoshi’s J-horror films and how the feelings of helplessness pertain to the existential dread surrounding our conception of life and death.

Once I finish my paper tonight, I will be free of the semester.
