#this js entirely personal headcanon and also unrelated to the above post but tozer is a protosocialist to me. i'll talk about it someday#anyways saw someone call hickey a class traitor earlier and that's kinda exactly how his mutiny plays#i've talked abt hickey politics before but#specifically him revolting/mutineering in the name of better conditions for his men#only to then make himself essentially crozier 2#he's sharing resources sure but he's still keeping things to himself and creating a divide between those he trusts#and those he doesn't#class disparity/bureaucratic distance is not solved#he revolted not to actually solve the problems#but to place himself above the rest#not for the sole sake of power mind you. for a time he genuinely believes he can save them#but that's for another time#cornelius hickey#the terror#the terror amc
