पिछले सालभर से राज्य सरकारें केन्द्र सरकार के साथ सामंजस्य बिठाकर काम करने का प्रयास कर रहीं हैं। श्री राहुल गांधी समेत विपक्ष के नेताओं ने जनहित में सकारात्मक सुझाव देने के प्रयास किए हैं। लेकिन केन्द्र सरकार ने पब्लिक हेल्थ में इन सुझावों पर अमल करने की बजाय नकारात्मक रवै��ा अपनाते हुए केन्द्रीय मंत्रियों को मैदान में उतारकर अनुचित टीका-टिप्पणियां की जो बेहद दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण है।

हाल ही में राजस्थान, महाराष्ट्र समेत 8-9 राज्यों ने स्पष्ट बताया गया कि वैक्सीन की कमी हो रही है। राजस्थान में वैक्सीनेशन की रफ्तार 5.81 लाख डोजेज प्रतिदिन तक पहुंच गई थी जो देश में अग्रणी है। लेकिन वैक्सीन की कमी के कारण यहां बार-बार वैक्सीनेशन बन्द करना पड़ता है।

मैं कांग्रेस के कैंपेन #SpeakUpForVaccinesForAll का पूरी तरह समर्थन करता हूं। कोरोना पर जल्द से जल्द काबू पाने के लिए आयु सीमा को हटाकर सभी को वैक्सीन लगानी चाहिए। इसके लिए मैंने प्रधानमंत्री जी को पत्र भी लिखा है।

वैक्सीन प्राइवेट सेक्टर में भी उपलब्ध होनी चाहिए जिससे आर्थिक रूप से सक्षम लोग निजी संस्थानों में अपना टीकाकरण करवा लें। अगर भारत में वैक्सीन निर्यात करने से पहले देश की जरूरत पूरी होती एवं सभी को वैक्सीन लगती तो कोरोना की ऐसी बर्बादी से ���च पाते।
