Her body is showing signs of aging. She walks with a slight limp, has a mass on the perineal area, and is depressed and lethargic. But she does her best to perk up when she’s out with friends. Despite her medical condition, the truth is that she still has a lot of life left in her. This isn’t how Diamond stops shining. We think dogs deserve dignified golden years, not simply discarded as unwanted trash. She does better with quiet dogs like herself. Please give Diamond a chance. He was brought in as stray, and his family never came to look for him. It’s a story we’ve heard a thousand times. Yes, some people shouldn’t have animals, and some just don’t deserve animals. Golden is 124 lbs and extremely overweight. He has weak hind legs and has difficulty moving about (all that extra weight isn’t helping). He also has diarrhea and skin issue. The shelter has placed him on Orange Alert and giving him until 8/12 5pm to live. Golden isn’t ready to go yet. He still has a lot of life to live and he hopes that he will be saved. Golden met a couple of dogs through the fence and is non-reactive. Please help. She’s 16 years old and blind. She got dumped at the shelter on Sunday because her family is moving out of the country... To say that Bella’s life is in a downward spiral is a bit of an understatement. She’s old, overweight, blind, has alopecia and dental problem. Then her life went from bad to worse... She got dumped by her family and now, there’s an expiration date on her life. It sucks to be Bella right now. Bella is a sweet girl and she’s doing the best she can to cope. After all, what choice does she have?! Bella will be spending Thanksgiving in a small cage at the shelter by herself as the clock ticks. She has until 4pm Friday, 11/29 to live. So, when you’re at your Thanksgiving get together tomorrow, tell people about her. She needs all the help she can get: an adopter or foster (it has to be for a rescue) and pledges. She is so stressed out being confined and scared and hearing dogs barking 24/7. Can anyone please foster her? She needs a quiet space and some love ❤️ If we pull her, cannot take her to boarding. She won’t do well, our headquarters are not a great place for seniors. So we need to find a foster!
