Yo so I decided to do a little thing of rewatching bh6 but in JP

the VA is *chef’s kiss* noice

most of the VAs sound simillar to the English VAs, Aunt Cass sounds different but still has the same “proud parent” voice when talking to Hiro before he leaves for SFIT

also cool thing is that the “Hello, I am Baymax” from the intro is in JP too it’s so cool!

(and yes I will be making a post about it for the eps I watch, I guess I’ll talk about Baymax Returns in this one) 

disclaimer: these are my opinions and you might have different thoughts about the JP VAs

-The beginning of the ep reminded me of TE FEELS hhhh

-Wasabi’s VA is probably my favorite out of the nerd gang VAs (minus Hiro and Baymax) you’re doing great <3

-Granville’s VA also sounds different than the English VA, not sure if I’m a fan or not but still carries the same serious tone

-Probably should not go into this with the mentality that everyone will sound the same or else I’m gonna set myself up for disappointment 

-I’m sure Granville’s voice in the JP dub will grow on me just gotta get used to it n.n

-The scene where Fred is trying to convince the gang to be superheroes is 10x dramatic (everyone’s VA aaaaa) all you need is dramatic music to go with it and the series is an anime now 

-YAMA SOUNDS SCARY NOW 

-THAT IS ALL

(putting the rest in read more so it doesn’t get super duper long)

-(poor Dibs, someone plz help him he sounds so scared I don’t blame him)

-I’ve already heard Baymax’s voice in the JP dub (credit to @freedom-barricades-bighero16 for sharing me a clip) and he sounds great!

-tidbit I’ve noticed is that when Hiro is referring to Tadashi, he always refers to him as nii-san (which is older brother), ig the dub likes using honorifics more!

-The “oh no” still has the same energy as ever.

-Ok I rly like Granville’s VA

-yo Fred’s voice when he’s wearing his helm is kind of echo-y now? that is so cool

-I double checked the english dub and there’s still the echo but it’s more visible in the JP dub

-Heathcliff’s voice : D

-Man that fight scene in Yama’s base, the VA was top notch

-Also Wasabi sounded so angy/concerned in the scene back at SFIT, don’t blame him

-Gonna watch part 2 and then call it a day

-Fred-narration still great n.n

-omg more feels when Cass reunites w/ Baymax how dare you JP dub

-Weird thing but I like hearing how SF sounds in the dub, like when people say “San Fransokyo” idk it just sounds very nice and smooth 

-OMG OBAKE

-Dang... his voice sending chills

-Makes that elevator scene spookier

-this dub just makes any scene with emotions just... even more emotional like the scene with Granville teaching Hiro about balance

-have I mentioned I love how Wasabi sounds in the JP dub, (him going “adrenaline wave, whooo!”, while the gang fight the bootleg Baymaxes sounds awesome)

-Everyone sounds extra panicked/stressed when Hiro calls to warn them about Yama breaking into SFIT and it really adds to the intensity of the situation

-Also dang Obake’s voicing,,, Obake stans would enjoy hearing it, I’m just saying, it’s so chilly

-SERIOUSLY IT’S SO CHILLY... spooky

-I rly like when they say “Big Hero 6″ and “to the power of 6″ it just has this Important Vibe now n.n

-And also the voice acting during that train scene aaaaaa im loving it

-thx for reaching the end of my dumb rambles n.n

Happy bh6 series anniversary!

I’m gonna react to some more eps from the series JP dub to celebrate 

well maybe just one

which is Issue 188! n.n

-I am so nervous abt how my favs will sound--

-KARMI SOUNDS SO CUTE AAAAA

-She’s so adorable!

-I can’t take her srsly even when’s she like “ew don’t talk to me” bc she sounds so cute XD

-still sounds get even when she’s angy

-I have to say, the VA is doing a rly good voicing Karmi as a “teen with like 0 social experiences with her fellow peers” and it shows

-the gang have like this visible “muffle” to their voices while wearing helms I’ve noticed

-I am so close to “We got Dance Power” my hands are shaking in anticipation

(putting the rest on read more bc im a troll :3c)

-*exhale*

-oh. my. god. guys.

-it.sounded.

-AWESOME

-Like there was still the 80s theme but in JP and omg HV sound p’ similar, like different voices but same energy, y’know?

-I want to learn the song in JP now bc it sounded so cool in JP

-Juni sounds so cute in the dub even when she’s angy omg I love herrrr

-The “aaah” from Gogo when she gets yeeted sounds more like an “AAAAAH” rip

-omg the music, same energy still but like... fancy? idk how to word it but this is making me love HV even more

-they added an “aaaaaa” from Hiro when Baymax flies away like “aaaa come back buddy” XD

-*laughs* oh my god poor bh6 I forgot how new they were to superheroing at this point riiiip

-did I mention Juni sounds rly cute in the dub? And Barb too! She sounds extra sassy XD

-Wasabi and Fred still sound rly good in the dub, love them <3

-how dare you dub for giving me feels at the part where Juni is so happy her dreams are coming true, (and Barb is just so -_- bc she wants some of the spotlight... its ok Barb I’ll always cheer for you <3) hhhhhhh

-the way the dub does the “High Voltage~” just so cool

-nerd gang rly being like “AAAAAAA” when getting zapped which fair bc electricity hurts, like its a cartoon so we dont see the gang getting injured much but the dub is reminding me of that and... oof. their pain tolerance must be real high from superheroics 

-The little giggle from Karms when she sees Captain Cutie omg ADORABLE

-oh gosh i just realized im gonna have to encounter Mole in this ep.

-But first omg Karmi just sounds so cute when she’s gushing over her crush which tbh big mood

-Fred’s dramatic voice while explaining the lore of Issue 188... what a drama llama

-great... Mole

-huh.

-y’know

-his voice doesn’t sound as obnoxious as in English, still has that “smug cat” energy, but not as uhhh... annoying, I can live with this

-Also his voice doesn’t sound as deep, which fair, he’s 11

-...wait why was his voice so deep in the og? did he like... fake deepen his voice to sound more cooler?

-omg that would explain so much

-JP dub how dare you make me actually like Mole I’m suing /jk /lh

-oh the gum, now there’s the Mole I remember (his VA makes him sound more like an 11 y/o gremlin, but still can be a lil’ creepy... c’mon remember that part where he sniffed the gum?)

-Karms sounds so sad when her virus dies ;-; “shut him up!!” it sounds less angry and more pained... JP DUB HOW DARE YOU

-This dub is trying to make me cry over the show again and its working

-omg when Juni went flying @ Hiro and Baymax she went “hiyaaah!” and it was like the cutest thing ever WHY ARE YOU SO CUTE?!

-Gogo sounds 10x mad at Fred for the comic book thing hdhdhdhd

-noooo dub why, Juni sounds so scared when she realizes that the energy orb’s power is cut off D: 

-NOOOO DUB WHY. SHE SOUNDS SO UPSET (like about to cry upset) WHEN TRYING TO ESCAPE INSTEAD OF RISKING GETTING CAUGHT BY TRYING TO FREE HER MAMA HOW DARE YOU DUB. HOW DARE YOU

-im actually crying this is pain ;-; whyyyyyyy

-gosh they did such a good job voicing HV in the dub, dramatic and emotional as ever 

-hh still feels when Hiro and Karmi were talking outside of Granville’s office

-This dub is just gonna kill me w/ emotions ain’t it im just gonna be dead before i even get to the halloween episode 

-which is kind of ironic,,,,

-I’m so gonna rewatch this ep over and over w/ the dub bc it sounded just as awesome, if not awesomer! 

-And everyone sounds great n.n, esp my favs
