sparklecare fans on twitter whining about the post nut clarity joke uni made is so funny because they refuse to talk about the many other blatant issues such as

barruni being a poorly written ship; barry is practically verbally abusive towards uni, uni lovebombs him regardless, and the reader is basically forced to enjoy the ship

the nurses that murder and torture patients being infantilized and treated like theyre innocent just because theyre queer, implied to be neurodivergent, or because cuddles is portrayed as the only "real" villain in the entire story; apparently the whole reason the comic even got rebooted was because they thought making the staff evil was "bad representation", but in all honesty queer people can be just as shitty as cishets, like have you seen dahmer?

pollys disability (which was poorly written to begin with, being constantly cold is nowhere near being unable to fucking walk) being erased in the au's

literally everyone having the same skinny body type except for the ones that are meant to be hated (cuddles, that one social worker from v3) with very few exceptions (side characters that are irrelevant 99% of the time)

an alarming disregard towards gay male rep; barruni and carlsly being initially advertised as mlm ships only for the clowns to abruptly make uni and sly closeted transhets (which by the way, heavily leans into the homophobic and transphobic stereotype that "gay guys are all just secretly trans"/vice versa), and the very few actually mlm characters (mel cyn and orange) being almost nonexistant until the writers run out of ideas and decide to slap them into the page like subway surfers gameplay

aroace erasure; uni, despite being aegosexual, is constantly shoved into sexual scenarios as a "joke", and hemera, the only aromantic character in the entire comic so far, is paired with at least four other characters in the cometcare au

but i guess we just dont question anything since the comic was originally based on kittycorns medical trauma, and criticizing it would be "disrespectful" to what kit went through, which seems fair. but if thats the case, why are we defending all of the hospital staff? wouldnt they be based on the real life medical abusers that hurt kit? that sounds hypocritical in my honest opinion.

do not harass the creators of the comic, obviously. sparklecare hospital actually means a lot to me as it helped me during a rough spot which im still in at the moment. and thats why i feel the need to bring these issues to light, im seeing a lot of wasted energy and poor creative decisions that are tainting what i believe has potential to be one of the best webcomics ever.

so like, this is Phanta- a new alias/sona of mine as of Halloween 2020 !! i've been wanting to own a Crook for years now, so i'm ecstatic to finally have one /w\ his design is,, very busy !! but as to be expected from Skire creatures xD guHHH i love him,, he my sparklebitch reason why i didn't introduce him when i designed him, is because i haven't finished his Masterlist image yet xd [2nd and 3rd images] i've been struggling to get it to look perfect,, i'm just not used to his shapes yet /^\ but yeah, he's my new Wrath- i've put down Peace Xenaso long ago and he sorta took her place. in this notion i have rearranged some of my sonas/aliases and their representations! i will post other work i've done of Phanta now /w\ this ref sheet took me a month [Oct-Nov 2020] of on-and-off chipping away at it to finish. and i updated it in February of this year! the Crook base was put together by WellHidden himself, i just created the design and editted the lines!

I see this and I raise you:

Sparklebitch getting put to true Startouch death by the Cosmic Order, and at least this way he's with Leola forever again

If the spell to kill an archdragon can be used on a Startouch elf, I wouldn't be opposed to Callum doing it if, say, Sparklebitch kills Ezran or Rayla...

Say what you want, but... If Aaravos dies at the end of the series, it will be the stupidest and most illogical thing that could have happened.

Let's be clear - there is not a single character who would be able to kill/defeat him.

Except maybe Claudia. But if the tables turn and Claudia will betray him - that would be wasted potential. Even if it could make sense (a very far-fetched one), they can't do it well in 9 episodes.

The theory that Callum will lock him in a coin? If that happens, they took the easy way out. 6 seasons of waiting for Aaravos to get out of prison, only to have him locked up again at the end? Are you kidding me. Three NOs. That's probably the worst possible ending choice.

If the creators use the "villain defeated by the power of friendship and the unification of all nations" technique, I will take back every good word I have ever said about this series.

Worst of all, in these 9 episodes, they will not be able to play even the "Aaravos redemption arc" option well.

I am afraid of this season, because as a writer, I do not see any solution here that has the right to work and be reasonable at the same time.

For me, the only right solution would be for Aaravos to commit suicide. Giving up and taking his own life to be with his daughter? A masterpiece. A brilliant ending to the series. Regardless of whether he is whitewashed for his "crimes" or not.

Although my dream ending would still be a situation in which it turns out that everything others said about Aaravos was a lie. That he did nothing wrong and was imprisoned for nothing. Callum learning the whole truth? Callum being Aaravos's student? Brilliant. And being just a dream, because all the potential for it has already been wasted.

a teeny tiny miniature amount. ive complained about him & unis dynamic so much that ive gotten tired of it, so outside of that? he has his moments where im like "yeah id prolly do that" like when he yaps about his science interests moments prior to Mutilation or when he like. overall gets super anxious in the junkyard. but most of the time hes a mild annoyance imo. hes just a guy. hes an alright protagonist
