"Geez, this place is a maze."

Bon, having been tired of constantly fixing his hair all the time had put a hair pin in while he was running around the whole city trying to find a exit. Due to his training, he's moderately winded.

Its not like could ask anyone here, since everyone seems to be in the same boat.

"Wheres a good world map when you need one..."

Its only maps of the city here. A mutter to himself as he stops by another newspaper stand to find anything useful.

does rui's live2d have a name for his 'crazy eyes' look? (like when he's really excited about something) does he share it with any other character?

the expressions are labelled as "sparkling" (1 & 2), which is something most characters do have at least one of. the exceptions are shiho, kohane, akito, nene, kanade, mafuyu and all mikus except MMJ. Len has twinkle instead of sparkle which is essentially the same thing.

for most characters their sparkle expression is wide-eyed, sometimes blushing, and with the twinkly eye effects (where the highlights in their eyes move slightly so they appear to sparkle). kaito and meiko have teary-eyed sparkle expressions, emu has two that are sad, and tsukasa has one that's sad/crying and one that's imitating rui's.

rui's notably sticks out compared to everyone else's sparkling expressions because his pupils get smaller and i don't think he has any actual sparkling animation (though it might just be too small to notice).

Little did he know.

"Geez... maybe we can meet another time? I still have a lot of places to go to, and there isn't a lot of places I can actually go with my age."

"How about if we find anything, we let the other know through the cellphone. Then again they might cencor everything, it is their net..."

"Hey your guess is as good as mine. I doubt they'd just let out all their secrets so easily to people regardless of how long they've been here."

If they did nobody would be in this situation. Or at the very least someone would probably have figured out a solution to it without needing to jump through a hundred different hoops to find it...

"And neither of us know that. I mean have you seen that hole in the middle of the city? Who knows what horrible things might be living down there while all of us live up here? Maybe that monster you are talking about really does exist~~"

"That's...not even close to what I imagine."

If people end up here for more than a year, a life time could happen before anything else could happen.it was annoying, it was frustrating. It was the feeling of being useless because what was the point of anything if you were going to get kidnapped anyways.

"Geez, what kind of messed up city is this. At the very least there isn't some monster in the background just silently killing people...I hope."

It was more of a guess than anything, but with this kind of set up. he wouldn't be too surprise if there was some population control system in place.

"Seems like plenty of people have been around for awhile. Others like ourselves are new." She had already turned her body completely around, skipping down the street as if there was anything to really see anywhere out here in the world.

"Some I've heard have already ended up here a year. Others long enough that our friends or family we've left behind might not even recognize us."

Still time did seem to be a deciding factor involving plenty of their cases. Regardless of how long anyone had been here they looked and felt the same both physically and mentally. Whether that was just a side effect of the city or something else entirely Sparkle had not figure out yet. But it was something she did keep in the back of her mind.

"Still its all rumors. I haven't outright asked anyone else yet. Not like I'm a journalist or anything."

"...Doesn't that apply to the concept of countries? You would have to have a small concept of what applies as a world if this-

"What you say doesn't make a lick of sense, does the concept of countries not apply? Its a big world. Of course you wouldn't see any co-workers. Even if this is a different point of space, everything is just human-

A deep breath-

"...yeah, sure." though he's already having a hard time believing the other after all the things she just said. "I've been looking through all the news paper stands and libraries for the past few days. Talking with other kidnapees is a big hit and miss since we don't know who the oldest one is, or who has the know how of the city."

"Well its obvious isn't it? Does anything here look familiar to you?" It felt like a rather stupid answer to a question but it wasn't like she needed a thesis to explain her point.

"Where I'm from there's plenty of planetary travel and other nonsensical things happening on the daily. Besides i would've run into at least one of my coworkers if this was my world. My job requires me to be in plenty of places all at once after all. And none of these landmarks ring a bell either..."

Still she needed a partner in all of this as well. At least for the time being until Sparkle could just wander on off back to her abode or somewhere else once all the fun was sucked up...

"So how about the two of us try to figure that out ourselves? Maybe we could find somewhere nice to help situate us."

He's on guard for a moment, not expecting someone to actually answer to his mumblings. After all , he thought that everyone in the big city didn't care what happened to others. Or were just nosy about everything.

"Unless that garden leads to outside, its as good as a lead then anything, meaning useless. Unless that news is old."

Honestly after dealing with mister Illuminati Shima double agent, he's rather cautious of anyone that approaches with concern. Especially since he knows most people were selfish enough to only handle themselves.

"I'm Suguro Ryuuji. And you are?"

"A map of the world? I'm pretty sure your search is going to end up fruitless."

A rather "well-dressed" woman turned around from the stand, looking as if she didn't want to be the one to break the bad news to them. It wasn't her usual getup but a change of pace was in order.

"You'd think they'd leave us with some crumbs to go off of. But everything here just adds more questions then answers." She held up the paper almost on cue, showing off the front page.

"Abandoned Buildings Destroyed In Explosive Accident". "And right next to it an article about someone's garden finally opening up. Truly I've never seen somewhere so unorthodox to what's normally accepted."

He would keep his suspicion for now, but there was one thing that he wanted to ask about. After all if anything her wording made him rather suspicious.

"...How exactly do you know its another world? We could be in another country for all we know."

of course he might have known, but all options are available until evidence points otherwise. If this is another world, wouldn't it be stranger? Or is this a point that people say the world is colonized for human enjoyment?
