Now that Spring is here, I thought colours would be a happy subject. • In Spanish, if we are asking for the name of a colour we ask a slight different question than if we are asking for the colour of something. • If you are looking at a colour and you don’t know what colour it is, then you would ask someone: ¿qué color es? Or you could also ask ¿qué color ese ese? What colour is it? Or what colour is that? • If you want to ask about the colour of an object, for example, what colour is your car, then you would ask: ¿de qué color es tu carro?
