If you're familiar with the South Park Archives, pretty much the only SP fansite still online - there's over eighteen years of history there, pages and renders for tons of characters and locations, thousands of screenshots, a pretty dedicated staff, transcripts of every episode, and so much more. When I made my start writing shitty fanfics, it was a super useful resource, and that was a small chunk of what it is today.
FANDOM has today unveiled a new Offensive Terms Policy which continues a trend in the last few years been suggested in events like Community Connect, where it has previously been suggested wikis avoid references to canonical sex. The avoidance of slurs is something I would be super supportive of generally -- we don't need to see that kind of stuff on Wookiepedia or like, a wiki for Bluey. It'll keep people from vandalizing children's wikis with adult content for kicks. I am generally in favor of content filtering, especially for family-friendly-oriented content.
...but, this is going to cause a lot of problems for the South Park Archives, a show with a major character who frequently uses slurs and is firmly anti-censorship. You don't need to be an editor to think about that. If you're a fan, you know what kind of show we're talking about.
This is a show with episodes called "The Biggest Douche in the Universe", "Major Boobage", "Reverse Cowgirl" and "Titties and Dragons". There are songs like "Fuck the Police" and "Jacking it in San Diego". There is a character called 'Retarded Fish'. The names of these songs and episodes, bear in mind, are legally registered copyrights, not our choices -- how do you change that? Move an article to Episode 1601? What about "Fuck the Police", which isn't even a South Park original song?
You can clean up a synopsis, and formalize language on a character page, I've done both of those things when I was an editor, but you can't undo all of this. How do you?
That's not even getting into the transcripts pages, which are intended to be 100% accurate to the actual dialogue, continuing the tradition from the good ol' South Park Scriptorium...
Within the day of the policy change, FANDOM has already started to make changes to remove slurs from the transcript pages that are unable to be modified as it is directly related to global policy. I don't know that the staff were communicated with about this personally either, but I'm not in the know like I used to be.
No doubt some of this move is prompted by advertisers - FANDOM previously cited advertiser feedback as a motivation for inserting all sorts of videos on top of wiki pages (similar to their later push to include AI-generated content) and understandably many advertisers may not want their brand name mere inches from a discussion of cartoon eight-year-olds using slurs. I mean, shoot, I wouldn't if I were in charge of a major company, and I get someone needs to keep the lights on, but...
I don't know man, it's a shitty position to be in. It's a well-intended policy that I'd support in almost any other context but literally this narrow exception, and I definitely hate the thought of looking like I'd be defending use of offensive terms, but like, how do you cover "everything" about South Park, an explicitly adult show that is so firmly anti-censorship, that builds entire episodes around these kinds of jokes, or even analyze it from a critical perspective, in such a family-friendly, sanitized way, without betraying its spirit and creative intent?
You can imagine how many staff members there are probably scratching their heads or bashing them into lamp posts, trying to figure out what to do or how to move forward after this. They could apply for an exception, but would it even be granted? What would the alternative be? Are restrictions like this worth it or do they render the whole thing moot? How much responsibility lies with FANDOM? Are advertisers forcing the whole internet down this road? There are so many questions in the air on this. I certainly don't have answers.

It’s really been months studying info abt loa and applying states.. idk why I’m still struggling. It’s supposed to be as easy as breathing but all I feel is anxious. I really need help.. :( it shouldn’t take months and years to manifest an sp right.
I reckon manifesting an SP is what people here struggle most with. After all, there is so much focus on SPs in the loa community online. And I think why people struggle is because there is usually a lot of emotional attachment towards the person. Therefore, it might be hard to detach, to let it be. You might feel that if you don't get them, then you'll be utterly depressed or perhaps it's hard to keep up a good mood, if they're not complying outwardly.
What you'd benefit from is learning to let the outer be while you cultivate a heaven inside yourself. You cannot force anything. You can only change your assumptions. Happiness comes from within. So, meditating, cultivating mantras for yourself, creating these moments for yourself where you can detach from the outer and focus within help. Tell yourself it's okay if things physically don't go your way. You can just imagine within a better world. You live your whole life through your imagination anyway. The world shall eventually conform.

Kitchen Witchery: Elminx's Anti-anxietea
In honor of eclipse season, I wanted to share a recipe to bring your buzz down a notch (or two). I've been drinking this nervine tea for nearly five years now; it features all of my favorite herbal flavors! I'm not going to go into detailed herbal profiles for each of these botanicals, but I suggest looking into them more if you are curious. I think learning the basics of herbalism can greatly benefit the kitchen witch.
Each of these ingredients can be found in any decent grocery store, bought online, or grown yourself. The combination is designed with flavor and herbal actions in mind; it's not a measure of exact ingredients - mix with your heart. All of these botanicals are well tolerated and can be drunk regularly by most people. Please be careful when trying new herbs; allergic or other adverse reactions can occur.
Hibiscus, Hibiscus sabdariffa Hibiscus is the primary flavoring agent in this blend. It gives our tea its Cool, Moist, and Sour properties. Please keep in mind that hibiscus will stain anything it comes into contact with, including clothing, wooden spoons, and even countertops. If you don't think you're familiar with hibiscus, it is the primary flavor in all "Zinger" teas. It tastes tart and inexplicably red.
Peppermint, Mentha piperito
Peppermint is the first of our gentle nervines to be added to our tea. Nervines do exactly what you expect them to: they calm your nerves. In addition to being a nervine (primary benefit), Peppermint adds its properties of Pungent, Sweet, Cool, Warm, and Dry to our tea. I'm sure you're all familiar with peppermint; you could probably substitute a different mint here with similar effect.
Lemon Balm, Melissa officinalis
Lemon balm is a nervine and a mild sedative. It brings the properties of Sour, Cool, and Dry to our tea. Some people don't like the taste of lemon balm, saying that it tastes like Pledge. If that's you, just omit it from this drink. The taste of hibiscus strongly overpowers the lemon balm, though, so maybe try it first.
Tulsi (Holy Basil), Ocimun santum
Tulsi is a nervine and adaptogenic herb, which means that it helps the body manage stress better. Its properties are Pungent, Sweet, Bitter, and Warm. With its heady, peppery notes, Tulsi is certainly an acquired flavor. If you get along with this herb, you will know almost immediately upon drinking it for the first time. A little goes a long way; you don't need to overdo it.
Dried Apple, Malus sp.
Although apple is primarily a flavoring agent (and sometimes a sweetening agent) in this blend, it does have mild sedative effects that lend themselves to the overall feel of this tea. I suggest using the apples you would eat in this recipe; you can dry slices of apples by putting them in your oven at 225F for 1.5 to 2 hours. Use a sweeter apple if you want a sweeter tea.
Minx's Anti-Anxietea
2 parts hibiscus
1 part peppermint
1 part lemon balm
1-2 parts dried apple
.5 part tulsi
Start by adding 1 tsp tea to hot water and steeping for 8 minutes. Adjust to your tastes from there.
This drink tastes great, hot or cold.
I've never sweetened this tea because I like my drinks bitter like my soul, but I bet a dollop of honey would be lovely in this—especially a nice summery wildflower honey. I've added sweetened cranberries in the past (1-2 parts) for more sweetness. And honestly, I don't measure. I know when it smells right.
I apply this drink liberally, but some people may find it too strong a diuretic to consume more than once daily. I drink it any time that I feel especially anxious or when I know I am going to be under a lot of stress. My partner likes to drink it before bedtime and claims it's one of the only things that will calm them down when they feel like they have too many thoughts.
You can witch this up (it's a verb now!) as little or as much as you like. I like to work calming energy into the drink step by step as I create the mixture by working with each botanical individually. You could charge this with a candle or sigil, dedicate it to one of your favorite gods or spirits, or store it on your altar. I create bindrunes for my favorite tea blends and use them as magical labels.

A (hopefully) half decent guide to get into watching figure skating
With the Junior Grand Prix circuit starting this week, I wrote up a little guide for my online pals and anyone else interested in getting into the sport. I'm going to be focusing on Elite Level Skating.
Disclaimer in case I put this into the main tags: I may make a metaphors or two to F1 for comparison since I primary post F1 related things but I do have a #figure skating tag
Honestly if you want a really good write up/guide I highly recommend the website So You Want to Watch Figure Skating and they even have a Tumblr where they post updates.
If you want to read my more condensed, lower quality version, then stick around.
General Info
The International Skating Union (ISU) is the governing body for competitive ice skating disciplines (not just figure skating but speed skating as well). They're like the FIA in this case and decide/vote on regulations and changes.
Each country has their own individual national associations that administers the sport at the national level.
For example, USFS (U.S. Figure Skating), Skate Canada, etc. These associations do things like assign their skaters to competitions, decide funding, hold national level competitions etc.
Figure skating has 4* disciplines - Men's single - Women's single - Pairs - Ice Dance
*(There's also synchronized skating but I don't really keep up with it)
The two categories I'll be focusing on are: Junior and Senior. You can read about the specific age requirements here
Scoring
A final competition score is comprised of the total score of two programs (segments) added together.
A Short program (SP) score + a Free program (FP) score*
The main difference is that the SP is shorter and the FP is longer. But you can read into the different technical element requirements that I linked since they vary from disciple.
*In ice dance the SP and FP are called Rhythm dance (RD) and Free dance (FD)
To break it down even further, each total segment score is calculated based on the following:
Technical Element Score (TES) + Program Component Score (PCS) = Total segment score (TSS)
TES:
Each technical element preformed has a base value of points (following the code of points) depending on difficulty (it's comparable to gymnastics code of points scoring)
The judges then assign GOE (grade of execution) that increases or decreases the base value depending on how well it was executed
For more detailed info and to read about what makes up the PCS, the USFS has an overview here and guide here.
Competitions
I'm only going to focus on major and easily accessible competitions for this guide. The goal of competitions is to place high and get world standing points.
National Championships Typically held mid-season ish (Dec-Jan). Pretty straight forward, each country hosts their own national champion competition (most people just call them Nationals) for each discipline and age category. Depending on the country, these results may have a little or big impact on which skaters they pick to go to international championships for the rest of the season.
Grand Prix Grand Prix are a series of qualifying events (each held in a different country) that lead to the Grand Prix final. Skaters earn qualifying points at each Grand Prix event and the six highest-ranking qualifiers meet at the ISU Grand Prix Final.
A skater/pair can only participate in a maximum of 2 events. And each individual Grand Prix event can only have up to 3 skaters from the same country in each discipline.
Senior Grand Prix: 6 qualifying events
- for break down of how to qualify for the final refer to this page - skaters are eligible to be assigned to events based on results at the previous World Championships, season’s best scores from the previous and current season, and overall world standing
Junior Grand Prix: 7 qualifying events
- the same requirements apply for qualifying for the finals - eligibility wise, juniors have no minimum score required, as long as they're old enough their country can enter them - there is also no cap on the total # of participants unlike in seniors - # of spots for each nation are designated by previous world junior championship results
Europeans (European Figure Skating Championships) As the name states, Europeans is an ISU Championship in which only European skaters ("members of a European ISU Member") compete for the title. It is regarded as quite prestigious since it's the sport's oldest competition (first held in 1891).
# of competitors per country at Euros is determined based on results from the previous year
Four Continents Championships (4CC) 4CC is like Europeans but with all the other continents [Americas (North America and South America), Africa, Asia and Oceania]. Skaters must belong to a non-European member nation of the ISU.
Each nation can have up to 3 skaters from the same country in each discipline
Each skater must have obtained the minimum TES score requirement in the current or previous season
*Europeans/4CC are senior level only events
Junior/Senior World Championships Aka: the most important competition of the season! (Other than when the olympics happen)
Just like Europeans, # of spots each nation is allocated depends on results from the previous year. This is how they're determined (wording from this reddit post):
A country can have between one and three skaters/teams per discipline.
Each country automatically gets one spot in each discipline.
To get a second spot next year, that skater/team has to place in the top ten.
To get a third spot, that skater/team has to place in the top two.
For countries who already have multiple placements, both skaters or the top 2/3 entries:
must add up to ≤13 with their placements to secure/maintain a third spot (ie. 8th and 5th, 3rd and 9th, etc.)
or ≤28 to secure/maintain a second spot. (ie. 10th and 8th, 5th and 20th, etc.)
How to Watch
All the competitions I mentioned are live-streamed on the ISU YouTube channel. They also stay up so you can watch replays if a competition is held at an inconvenient time!
The Junior Grand Prix events were streamed on the ISU Junior YouTube channel but this year they will also be streamed on the main channel. You can still watching replays all the way from 2011 on it tho!
Occasionally you may find yourself Geo-blocked from a stream. I find this only happens when a competition is being hosted in your country because they want you to use the local streaming/TV service. For example, I'm based in Canada so I'm blocked from the Skate Canada GP event on YouTube because they're streaming it on CBC. I was also blocked from the World's 2024 Youtube stream because it was hosted in Canada. This includes full replays as well. But this is really easy to bypass with a VPN.
Refer to this page for more info
Resources
Here are a few resources to keep up with schedules, timing, standings etc.
Skating Scores: Overview of events, scores, and world standings
@/fskatecomptimes: Time-zone adjusted schedules for ISU-recognized figure skating events
So You Want to Watch Figure Skating: Recommending them again because they're awesome
Jackie Wong: Figure skating analyst, provides updates/live tweets from events
Notes :)
I hope this helps and is somewhat understandable. If you have any questions feel free to send me an ask or DM!
My advice is to just start watching and things will come naturally. I never thought I would be able to identify any jumps aside from an axel...but here I am watching competitions, finding myself calling under rotations on a 3T...
This season is the pre-olympic season and there's lots of skaters returning from injury/break so it should be exciting!
My figure skating tag
My favourite discipline is women's but I try to watch everything
I'm desperate for a Canadian skating revival (2018 you were everything)
Favourite ice dance team: Evgenia Lopareva / Geoffrey Brissaud
Current fave skaters (senior): Chaeyeon Kim, literally all of team Japan, Adam Siao Him Fa, Andreas Nordebäck, Alysa Liu + many more
*I would like to mention that just like any other sport there are a lot of issues within figure skating. It's an environment with a lot of young people whom are susceptible to mistreatment/harassment/abuse, so I just wanted to bring that to light since new viewers will probably discover shocking things that have happened/are happening. And overall raise awareness about being mindful viewers like not commenting on a skater's body for example and just advocating for the increased safety of the sport
There is also most definitely politicking involved when it comes judging, but we as viewers will never know how rampant and the details surrounding it. Some posts explaining it more here and here.
#this is for my mutuals...#but seriously though skating is so fun! join me 🥹#if there are any men and women skaters willing to switch to canada we need you#figure skating

Can't Avoid the Taxman!
Here are the city offices I set up in the Town Hall building for Redwood Harbor. A LOT of Tax Collector Computers! For those of you who don't know, @anitmb made a marvelous taxation mod that you can find over on the NRAAS site! As you will see over the next several weeks, I had to remove my Online Banking mod, however, this tax mod does sort of the same thing as long as you have computers and donation boxes for different categories and households. I housed the computers as well as several donation boxes in this actual building and placed other donation boxes in some of the public lots themselves.
Essentially, Mack will collect taxes from one computer and deposit a set percentage to each of the city categories I have set up in this building. Buildings with donation boxes fall under different categories that so they will draw funding from that specific computer when needed. Similarly I will dispense tax refunds and any government assistance from the corresponding computers here.
My guidelines are not perfect and are subject to change as I determine what works best. MORE BELOW THE CUT :)
These are universal guidelines to be used in each of my saves.
This is a list of expenditures. The percentages of collected tax that is applied to each area of the city budget to be used for upgrades and refunds, assistance, ect.
I used the SP Accounting tool to display the total income of each household. NOTE: You must have the Money Module installed for this option to show in SP and for accurate accounting make sure to "clear accounting" once you have collected taxes for the year, that way you are tallying income per year.
I tallied up tax credits per household...
and tax penalties
Voila! Each household has a unique refund due based on their own unique lives. NOTE: the taxes owed column is highlighted in red, and this is because those are taxes owed from this year so any penalty will apply to the next tax session, not this current round. The households in question have up until the night before a year passes to pay off taxes before accruing interest on the remaining balance.

By: Christopher F. Rufo and Jenin Younes
Published: May 4, 2024
What should be done about the turmoil, violence, and explicit antisemitism that have engulfed college campuses over the past months? Political leaders in Washington have reacted to the escalating chaos with an understandable and predictable instinct: do something.
In this case, the student protests have motivated a bipartisan coalition of legislators in the House of Representatives to compose the Antisemitism Awareness Act. It passed on May 1 with 320 votes (and 91 against).
The goal of the Act is noble: to prohibit discrimination against Jewish students and employees on campus. As is often the case, however, the impulse to “do something,” even when supported by a bipartisan majority, does not always mean the resulting actions are wise or productive.
We come from two sides of the political spectrum. One of us (Christopher) is a conservative, the other (Jenin) is on the left. We also take very different positions on Israel—one of us believes that Israel deserves America’s support in its fight against Hamas; one of us believes that the denial of Palestinians’ right to self-determination is the primary impediment to peace. But both of us agree that the Antisemitism Awareness Act is profoundly misguided.
First, the main purpose of the legislation is to codify a definition of “antisemitism” as a point of reference for civil rights enforcement on college campuses. Legislators outsourced this definition to a nonprofit, the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance, which defines antisemitic conduct and speech in a broad manner. Under this standard, “claiming the existence of a State of Israel is a racist endeavor,” “drawing comparisons of contemporary Israeli policy to that of the Nazis,” and “accusing Jewish citizens of being more loyal to Israel” will be deemed antisemitism.
It’s important to note, despite the hysteria of many online, that the Antisemitism Awareness Act does not, in itself, criminalize such speech. What it does is instruct bureaucrats to apply what could be, in effect, “hate speech” analysis to civil rights complaints. The Department of Education would gain the authority to withhold funding to institutions of higher education that do not punish violators.
This is a move in the wrong direction.
Existing laws against trespassing, violence, and property destruction are sufficient to deal with unlawful expressions of antisemitism on campus. And campus codes of conduct, which prohibit discrimination on the basis of race, religion, and ethnicity, cover much else.
“Hate speech” provisions, on the other hand, are unnecessary, ill-defined, and often in conflict with fundamental First Amendment rights. Contrary to popular belief, the First Amendment protects “hate speech,” in part precisely because of the difficulty defining the term, and also because such determinations are subjective. Under this new legislation, certain phrases and arguments, some of which are subject to reasonable contestation, could be treated as de facto evidence of discriminatory intent. (For example, arguing in favor of a one-state solution to the Israeli-Hamas conflict could be deemed violative on the grounds it denies the Jewish people a right to a state.)
Rather than enacting dubious legislation, the proper approach is to protect the rights of protesters to express their opinions, even when those opinions are abhorrent, while enforcing laws and regulations that prohibit tent encampments, campus disruption, and acts of violence.
The second problem with the Antisemitism Awareness Act, especially for conservatives and civil libertarians, is that it operates using the same coercive and corrosive principles as DEI. The legislation codifies an ideologically charged definition of antisemitism into law, provides special protections based on group identity, and expands anti-discrimination enforcement to include constitutionally protected speech.
This is precisely how existing DEI bureaucracies operate on campus, with disastrous results.
From a political perspective, this legislation is also a failure. While the left has embraced special protections for their favored minorities, it now appears to many that the political right is doing the same, only now for Jewish Americans. Similar bills are passing through numerous state legislatures from New York to Georgia.
Anyone who worries about pitting identity groups against one another, or is repelled at the idea that some Americans deserve more protections than others, should oppose all of this proposed legislation. It violates our country’s most fundamental principles, including the letter and spirit of the First and Fourteenth Amendments, which guarantee Americans the rights to free speech and equal treatment under the law, regardless of their racial, ethnic, or religious identity.
The only constitutional and moral approach is to establish a single, color-blind standard applicable to all individuals, regardless of their background. Any policies which, by definition, subordinate the individual to the group and suppress our speech will harm our nation in the long run and exacerbate, rather than resolve, racial and ethnic prejudice.
In this heated moment, we must return to the principles that have made this country exceptional: the rule of law, equality under it, free speech, and the protection of our individual, natural rights.
==
The protestors' speech isn't the problem. It's unsettling and it reveals a dark, ugly, murderous authoritarian streak emanating out of the academy. We should take seriously what they tell us they want to do.
The real problem is action. What these activists have done is already illegal.
https://casetext.com/statute/california-codes/california-penal-code/part-1-of-crimes-and-punishments/title-15-miscellaneous-crimes/chapter-2-of-other-and-miscellaneous-offenses/section-647c-unlawful-obstruction-of-free-movement-of-person-on-street-sidewalk-or-other-public-place
Section 647c - Unlawful obstruction of free movement of person on street, sidewalk, or other public place
Every person who willfully and maliciously obstructs the free movement of any person on any street, sidewalk, or other public place or on or in any place open to the public is guilty of a misdemeanor.
Nothing in this section affects the power of a county or a city to regulate conduct upon a street, sidewalk, or other public place or on or in a place open to the public.
So, when you see them getting in the way of, blocking and intimidating people who are entitled to walk around campuses unobstructed, or setting up encampments to illegally take over a property that isn't theirs, that's a crime. Never mind all the vandalism and destruction they've wrought.
The solution isn't new crimes or expanding existing ones. It's actually enforcing the laws we already have, consistently, and without regard to the crocodile tears of fanatics pretending their criminal activities are justified by their higher moral calling. We don't allow that for the (traditionally) religious, so why would we allow it for woke lunatics who are hell-bent on tearing down western civilization?

*door slam*
*door slam*
Living in the end:
What is it like? It feels like having your phone. It feels like having something you've had for quite a while now. Sorry to be a "bubble burster". When something is natural, it has a very low amount of emotional reactivity. This is why desiring something to the point of desperation usually will yield nothing. You'll notice a remarkable lack of "visceral Stimulation" when something is natural. It's why you hear so many people saying that they achieved their ends when they "dropped it". Dropping it is knowing that it already "is", therefore you experience the relief and peace of having it. You'll unconsciously think of other things. This is antithetical to the burning desperation everyone on Reddit seems to exude. Want money or the SP ? Well obviously they are not in your 3d, and pretending they are will just lead to dementia and soaring cortisol levels. However knowing that the future is certain, because it's **already** a done deal seems to stress people out far less than "living as if".
Abdullah (Arnold Josiah Ford) slammed the door in Neville's face..this is symbolic, for silencing your rational thinking mind, which is always obsessed with the "how". The door slam is the moment you stop worrying and start to "know". When you order on Amazon, the item is already yours. It just needs to be shipped. If I buy an iphone on the site, I officially have an iphone. It's a done deal. Yeah it needs to travel and get shipped, but it's mine. And the more i take my mind off it, (dropping the seed) the faster time seems to fly to get it to me. So when I get the iphone, you think I'm still thinking about getting an iphone ? No. I'm thinking about stopping my kids from running on the ceiling.
Imagine you're looking down a long hallway. The end of the hallway is your future. All you have to do to have what you want, is know that it is already at the end of that tunnel, NOW. Wouldn't you feel more peaceful during the walk THROUGH the tunnel, in that case ? Now is the future of the past. The *past* doesn't exist, but it seems to affect you **NOW**. Why? Because you KNOW the **PAST** happened, despite not existing. *KNOW* the future. It has the same effect on NOW as the past does. It's like getting paid every Friday. On Tuesday, you know your pay comes Friday. it's already set. It's already done. Obsessing over your payday, on Tuesday, would be foolish and give you only anxiety. So make plans for Saturday and the week after, because your pay comes Friday, even if it's Tuesday now. I'm trying to use the most practical examples for clarity.
That feeling that it is done, quite literally is the key to all of this. Knowing and having that peace literally gets rid of every urge to endlessly scroll through success stories trying to build your faith. You might even uninstall reddit. Meh. What do I know anyway?
You don't need reddit. You don't need Weekly success stories. You don't need "Edward Art". You don't need Sammy Ingram. You don't need this post, or even reddit. You have all you need already. You were born with more than enough. Trust yourself. You don't need anyone or anything outside of yourself to make things work. Following online "dieties" will only shift your focus to them, and will further distract you from your ends. You'll know there's a problem when you spend more time waiting for someone to give you more knowledge, than you are APPLYING what they teach you. Being enamored with a "teacher" is just a distraction. Neville's actual books teach you that YOU are what makes it function. There are people who mold their lives into their dreams, and they e literally never heard of these people or reddit. Imagine that...these are the "pendulums" that Vadim Zeland talks about. Mental "energy sinks" if you will. Avoid anything that takes your mental energy off of yourself and your life/future. That includes the past.
Your job is to keep TWO things; 1, Your "end", and 2, your mind, clear. When your mind isn't clear, you can't perceive your 4D directions TO your end.
Living in the end means living in the end of desire. And what does it feel like to "End" desire? That's for YOU to answer. No one else can.
Just have to "Order, then wait." -Neville lecture

Apologies if this is a question you've answered before, but how do you mod tattoos onto your Sheps? Nyx looks so good and it's inspired me to try and level up my own Shep with the tattoos I HC on her
Nyx, and my other tattooed shep, Regis, are both sculpted Shepards so they go by slightly different rules compared to custom Shepards made with the CC. I used this framework to make them.
With that being said, as far as neck/face tattoos go, you can rip the scalp and face textures from the game through Legendary Explorer's Asset Database and make your edits. Various tutorials on LEX can be found here.
Due to how the textures are setup (Face and Scalp are separate), if you want to do a neck tattoo, looking into Blender's Texture painting tools and stencil functions would be the way to go for a free option. You'll need to also export a head from the game to preview your textures live. You can export models via umodel within LEX, download a psk importer for blender, and apply your textures to the model. You'll need to remove the alpha channels when editing face textures, but there's many tutorials online for different programs on how to do so. GIMP is great for a free option for image editing, but PS will work great if you have it.
Or if you have access to Substance Painter, it's another good option for its projection tools. Same thing here goes for needing to import a model, except you'll need to have it in something like .fbx format, which gets a little more involved if you're new to working with 3D models.
I did Regis's tattoos in blender before I gained access to SP, and I did Nyx's in SP.
Once you've done your edits, you can either make a .mem mod [tutorial] (which will globally replace that complexion with your edits, which depending on the complexion/scalp, will give it to NPCs) or you can take a look at Becka's complexion mods that use a DLC mod setup to add them via the save editor.
This is a general overview, but feel free to message me here for more specifics. I can also possibly look into making a video later. You can also join the Modding Discord too.
Body tattoos are another story, as every vanilla model has its own "skin" textures assigned to them, but you can use either blender/SP or some type of image editor that supports layers and alpha based textures.
I'm sorry if this isn't the most helpful, anon, but tutorials are not my strong suit and I largely learned my stuff with lots of googling and by doing 😅.

Scarlet can you please share this is my own two cents on the topic thats been on your page recently. For reference you can call me ♦️anon because I can’t wait to send in more of my thoughts.
I really hope anons know that them just using other anonymous strangers/bloggers online as their “proof” waking up in a new reality is possible, or instantly getting a new body/face is so extremely toxic and theyre being so misguided. Your only proof of “manifesting” should NOT be randoms on the internet who may or may not be lying to you. No matter how sweet and genuine someone is and how amazing their posts and ask answers are, how can you trust them 100%? I understand believing neville and edward but cmon guys…. people on tumblr telling you that you can manifest IMPOSSIBLE things? As someone who wasted MONTHS believing those bloggers and got literally nowhere only to find out that some (won’t say their names) “big” bloggers on this platform were lying about waking up with their dream body and a BRAND NEW face + millions of dollars and well known fame was not even surprising. Please be careful who you listen to, a lot of bloggers on here are simply feeding you what they want to believe so bad, they WANT to believe we’re “limitless” hence they write countless posts on it making you believe it too. Oh also that one anon who revised their age, parents, and seemingly woke up in dubai was lying - it didn’t work for her no matter how much help she got from that sweet blogger (no hate at all to her) so she scripted it as a success story to help convince herself.
um i literally never heard of any of that tbh i havent been on this platform long enough nor do i follow a bunch of ppl😭
i agree w the part ab being ur own success tho! no one can give u faith at all unless you apply the law yourself, even for me i never had any faith initially bc i was “backpacking” on other ppls sp successes and it wasnt until i accepted it myself that things made sense.

Pokemon SV Tera Raid Battles
Having done so many of these 5 Star/6 Star raids both offline and online there’s a few observations I’d like to make. The following observations only apply to 5+ star raids. 1) So many people lazily bring the game Legendary to the raid thinking it’s a one glove fits all easy solution. When it’s a 5 Star+ raid. Absolutely not. Especially if the type matchup is not in it’s favor. The raid boss has 20x the amount of HP as the base pokemon and can spam it’s attacks/moves a lot more. 2) So many Belly Drum Azuramills and Belly Drum Iron Hands. Just about every single raid I see one of these. Sometimes that’s fine, other times, it’s a great way to wipe the raid. Example: Cinderace with hit’s high attack melted Pokemon’s HP if they didn’t up their defenses. Cutting your HP by half in that kind of situation is a great way to kill the timer and wipe the raid. 3) So many people only look at the Tera type without consideration of what the base pokemon is using. Example: Ground type with Fairy Tera. That’s a trap right there for steel/poison types. Unless your steel/poison type is extra bulky in Defense to withstand the coming Earthquakes or you have some way to counter that. It’s better to probably pick something neutral that will take at the very least neutral damage and still be able to do enough damage. 4) Too many attackers, not enough support. Support mons I’d say are an absolute necessity for 5+ star raids. Ones that provide things like Reflect/Light Screen, Attack Down, Sp Atk down, Sp. Def down, Def down are in particular extremely valuable. Supports should also be as bulky as you can make them. Supports of course will also be responsible for using Cheers to help support the team. Supports with Helping Hand is also a big boon to give an extra boost to your teams attacking mon’s power. This mostly applies for online rather than offline. For offline you probably want something that’s a mix of decent offense and decent defense depending on the situation. 5) Sometimes building niche pokemon for very specific raids will make things run a lot more smoothly. Example: Altaria (specked into Sp Def and HP) wearing Safety Goggles with Safeguard for Breloom, That way you protect yourself and your team from the effects of Spore while also having the ability to not immediately die and take a few hits before you heal up with cheers. Another example I loved to use is Vaporeon (specked into Sp Def and HP) with Water Absorb and Covert Cloak for use against Gyarados. Free healing from his attacks, and Hurricane does practically nothing, easily laughed off with an Aqua Ring. You can then cancel out it’s Dragon Dance with Charm (at the start before shields) and Chilling Water after shields go up. Helping Hand will help boost the teams damage. Do note, these were made specifically for online rather than offline. Offline, I don’t think either will do enough damage with the rando pokemon to clear it 6) Take into consideration the base mon’s attack, special attack, defense, and special defense. Bringing physical attackers to a tera raid where the pokemon has high defenses is a poor choice and will likely result in a wipe. Likewise you also want defense/special defense stats that matches with the base mon. For example if the pokemon you are fighting has high attack, you’ll want to bring pokemon with high defense to survive long enough to be able to setup and chew through it’s HP. 7) Setup is extremely important and vital to the raid’s success. Particularly for 6+ star raids. Don’t just jump straight into attacking. It’s a great way to trigger the shields early and cause the raid pokemon to do a lot of nasty boosting setup moves to wipe the raid. Plus it’s likely to wipe any stat bonus your team has been setting up which can easily lead to disaster depending on the pokemon you are fighting (Like Cinderace...) 8) For 5 star+ raids, make sure your Pokemon are Level 100 and Max EV trained. Will help things proceed much smoother. A lot of the times for the higher tier raids, the pokemon you’ll be fighting in the raid is set at level 90 but the capture is usually set at 75. Exceptions being the event 7 star raids where the pokemon is level 100 with Max IVs. Tera Raids are an incredibly complex and a wonky system and can be quite difficult. Every raid is going to have it’s own unique set of challenges especially when the Tera type is random. With practice, perseverance, and variety though you can overcome the challenge. Keep trying different strategies and have fun! If anyone else has any helpful suggestions or comments, feel free to discuss in the notes!

Pipe Fittings Manufacturing Standards and Types
At Online Fittings, we understand the importance of reliable components in your piping systems. While pipes take center stage, the unsung heroes are the fittings that ensure a smooth flow and strong connections. Let’s talk about forged pipe fittings, exploring the standards that govern their creation and the various types available.
Built to Withstand Pressure: Forged Pipe Fitting Manufacturing Standards
Unlike cast fittings, forged fittings are crafted from solid metal blocks. Intense heat and pressure are applied, shaping the metal into the desired fitting form. This process results in exceptionally strong and resilient components, making them ideal for high-pressure applications. But how do we ensure their quality and consistency?
Several crucial standards oversee the manufacturing of forged pipe fittings. Here are the main ones:
ASME B16.11: This American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) standard dictates the dimensions, tolerances, pressure-temperature ratings, material requirements, and markings for forged fittings. By adhering to ASME B16.11, manufacturers guarantee fittings that seamlessly integrate with pipe conforming to ASME B36.10 and B36.19 standards.
MSS SP-75, SP-83, SP-95: These Manufacturer’s Standardization Society (MSS) specifications supplement ASME B16.11, providing additional details on material properties, inspection procedures, and testing requirements for specific fitting types.
Choosing the Right Tool for the Job: Diverse Forged Pipe Fitting Types
Forged fittings come in a wide array of shapes and sizes, each catering to unique piping needs. Here’s a look at some of the most common types:
1. Elbows: These fittings change the direction of flow, typically at 90 or 45 degrees. They are available in threaded and socket-weld configurations. Socket Weld: 45° Elbow, 90° Elbow, 180° Elbow. Threaded: 45° Elbow, 90° Elbow, 180° Elbow.
2. Tees: T-shaped fittings with one inlet and two outlets, used for branching or merging pipelines. They come in equal (all three openings are the same size) or reducing (one outlet has a smaller diameter) variations. Socket Weld: Equal Tee, Reducing Tee. Threaded: Equal Tee, Reducing Tee, Lateral Tee.
3. Couplings: Simple straight fittings that connect two pipes of the same diameter. Socket Weld: Half Coupling, Full Coupling. Threaded: Full Coupling, Half Coupling.
6. Reducers: Designed to connect pipes with different diameters, allowing for smooth transitions in pipe size.
7. Unions: Three-piece fittings enabling easy disconnection of a pipe segment for maintenance or inspection. Threaded: Union.
8. Caps and Plugs: Caps seal off the end of a pipe, while plugs screw into a threaded opening to block it. Socket Weld: End Cap. Threaded: End Cap, Plugs.
Material Matters: Selecting the Right Forged Fitting Material
The material used in forged fittings plays a crucial role in their performance. Here are the two most common options:
Carbon Steel (ASTM A105): This cost-effective material is widely used for moderate-pressure applications. Its versatility makes it suitable for various industries.
Stainless Steel (ASTM A182): Offering superior corrosion resistance, stainless steel finds favour in environments with harsh chemicals or high temperatures.
