Favorite fruit: Strawberries, Peaches, Nectarines, Cherries . . . I actually like almost all fruit, even some of the less popular ones.  Like durian.

Favorite season: Spring

Favorite book series:  Oh god, which do I pick?  Lord of the Rings?  Harry Potter?  Iron Druid Chronicles?  The Dresden Files?  The Cormoran Strike novels?  Discworld?  The Cinder Spires?  (Wait does that one even count because there’s only one novel written so far?)  Ms. Marvel?  (Or do comic books not count for this question?  XD)

Favorite flower:  Oddly enough, not really one for flowers, especially fragrant ones because I’m really sensitive to really flowery perfumes and scents, although I do find Angel’s Trumpets really pretty (even though they can be super deadly too).

Favorite scent: Grapefruit (or at least the kind they use for soaps) is one of the few scents I can tolerate

Favorite color:  Blue and turqoise.  The fact Mikleo wears those colors is pure coincidence (and clearly a ploy by Bamco to make me throw my wallet at them)

Favorite animal: Cats

Coffee, tea or cocoa: Yes.  I love my espresso drinks, I love mochas, and I love green tea lattes.  I refuse to choose, lol.

Average sleep hours:  6-8, depending on how late I stay up blogging.

Cat or dog person: Cats, definitely cat.

Haha.  And here I thought I’m just weird for being this bizarre mix of soymilk shipper/Tales of fangirl and (casually hardcore) gamer chick.  I don’t usually get all gungho about other game series; it’s just “Tales of” that really brings it out in me.   I’ve played WoW and never got all hung up on arena rankings or clearing all the raids, nor did I get all serious with League of Legends and playing ranked - I have more fun playing ARAM more than anything.

And then there’s Tales.  Like, I’ve done multiplayer coop play throughs with RL friends where we’d start competing over who gets the last hit in a normal fight - and this would include whoever is playing the healer of the game - usually that’s me, but there are exceptions, like me playing Rita and Patty in Vesperia and Hubert after you get him in Graces (I still played a lot of Cheria early game).  @katanagasuki can attest that this started super early (like back when Symphonia released on GameCube kind of early), and that I have tried to go for it a few times playing as Raine Sage of all characters (although I did switch to Presea later in the game for greater success), and that I used to compete with them for Field of Fonim circles with Tear (Frozen Hammer is still one of my favorites FoF arte changes from Abyss, and it’s is super cool and awesome, okay?  Yes, pun 100% intended, remember who my icon is?  XD)  And we all competed in Vesperia, since we all agreed that doing 1 damage and having a bajillion Fatal Strikes go off was the best way to go for Grade farming on regular battles.  I seem to recall we changed up to quarter or half damage on bosses just so we could run the combo counter higher for more Grade, lol.  And the few times I’ve done Zestiria on multiplayer, I’ve been known to trigger Mikleo’s first mystic just to snipe a last hit or many, lol.  (Hey, it’s good for Grade, okay? XD)

Really, I think what it means is that I love playing action RPGS like Tales in general; so much so I can’t really go back to playing the turn-based JRPGs anymore.  Final Fantasy, I’m looking at you.

I am!  Besides Sakuraba Motoi (AKA the composer for Tales of, Star Ocean, among many other games), Kajiura Yuki is my other favorite composer.  I adore her work on Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, all the insert songs for Gundam SEED, all her work on .hack//sign . . . and Noir, and FictionJunction, and See-Saw, and . . . the list goes on.  i’m just sad because this cold has me pretty much mute and that means I can’t sing along and learn the lyrics for karaoke, haha.  Other than Tales of OP songs, Kalafina’s one of my other favorite groups to put in!

Glad to be of service!  I also just love the idea of Sorey (or any partner, really) making sure their lover is satisfied at the end of the night.  Like, it’s just a really good feeling to know someone cares about your satisfaction too, you know?  My ex used to do that every time, and I loved it, so I have a hard time not incorporating it into my ship headcanons.  =)

You gotta admit it was really cute when he bit his tongue. And honestly sorey wasn’t serious he was just teasing.

You can say that . . . except that skit did hit a little close to home for me.

Avoiding situations like that was the exact reason I’ve always gone by my (self-chosen) Western name everywhere except for legal documents, applications that required my name to match said legal documents, and family members.  And even then, it didn’t stop a classmate from making fun of my actual given name in middle school.  (The situation was resolved, after I went to a teacher about it.)  Some of you might say “Screw them, be proud of your heritage.”  Not when you’re 6 and desperate to fit in at school in a country that doesn’t speak the language you grew up learning, and had to be pulled out of class every day for ESL lessons.  (Luckily for me, I was young enough that I can speak perfectly unaccented English, so the fact English is technically my second language escapes a lot of people.  Still didn’t stop me from having a hard time finding work in white middle America though because of my legal name.)

So yes, you can say it’s cute all you want.  It stops being cute when these situations do happen in real life, and someone’s actual feelings are hurt by it.
